Thanks for sharing the content, the two most common metal screws are 5/16 and 1/4 of which 1/4 is the most common. So was the 'gas pipe restriction the problem with this dryer?

That’s right, it was limiting the gas too much.

@@QuickAndEasy5MinuteAppliance I worked on a gas stove and the darndest thing tbe safety valve was open but it was not open. Lever was stuck in the open position but was stuck closed. I closed it then opened it and whoosh. Thought I should share.
