Great video, man. I came out to myself only a few weeks ago and found the courage to tell my mom just yesterday haha. Hearing stories like yours definitely help me to believe what you said towards the end about it all being completely okay...and that I’m not alone. Already, in the last few weeks I’ve felt so much more personal love and pride towards myself and again, it’s because of honest, genuine videos like this one. So, thanks.
Your coming out story is as beautiful as it is. Thank you for sharing it so it can inspire others to accept themselves as an image of god, no matter if their beauty as a flower of existence has a different colour and flavour than those who dominate the garden of god. I would have wished to have come across stories like yours when I was young.

what an important and relatable video i am happy that you manage your coming out I am bi and happen to be born in to a black Christian family I came out to my friends and my brother (they were cool about it luckily) but the rest of my family is pretty anti-lgbtq+ so I want to wait with my coming out to them til I feel more comfortable and moved out of their house lol however I hope I can be carefree like you one day 😊

Blaze Thomas I've contemplated this greatly as well, and something Omar said answers it. If I can paraphrase, he said that our feelings and hopes are wrapped up in our family. For many, announcing who you are to family and friends is for freedom's sake. To say it is to release feelings to the world, primarily to those one cares for. Some may feel little to no ties to those around them, and hence only need to accept themself for inner freedom. It all depends on where we direct our freedom.
