Hey that racing type dashboard on the main dashboard is this included in all S3 models? Just did a test drive in S3 (this model) but it had a more regular dashboard with regulier speed etc.
Great car but even more envious of the well maintained roads. We pay a lot of cash here in the UK for ‘Road Tax’ but there’s so many pot holes it’ll shake your fillings loose. I dream of driving on roads like you have.
We are really lucky with the great quality of roads here. However, we also do pay for it plenty of 'Road Tax'. It also depends on it being petrol, diesel or electric car. It's based on the weight and the fuel. This S3 costs about €80 in 'Road Tax' a month. Diesel cars that weigh about the same cost upward of €180 a month. Roads are great but at a cost 😉

Thanks! It for sure is a nice rounded car. And indeed pretty expensive as we are used to with Audi. Maybe a nicely specced Golf R would suit the job just as well. However, this one is a lot more under the radar for sure!
It is indeed interesting how they did that. It might not be correct but it does in fact not sound bad. It's better than having no engine noise cabin I think.
Fair enough haha! Compared to the RS3 it is however 'only' 310 HP. It's still very fast though! Weight also plays a role in this for sure, 68HP wouldn't be enough these days any more

MK8 GOlf R for sure is a much more playful car. I would expect people in the market for one of these to prefer the more understated look and sound compared to a Golf 8R. I would, personally, prefer to Golf too!

Oh that's a shame! The Virtual Cockpit Plus is definitly a big plus point for me!

It's interesting how they gave the new S3 the MK7/MK7.5 Golf R interior fake i5 sound and gave the mk8 Golf R a v6 sound inside lol

In my days you be lucky to have owned a six pod doing 68 hp.
319 hp in a small 4 cylinder is phenomenal.

It's easy if it has 7 gears then that’s a DSG if it has 8 gears that’s a torque converter

Nice car but unfortunately new mk 8 golf R is faster, better exhaust and more nimble. Oh and cheaper.
