I'm on the UK, I watch this with my mother who has vascular dementia..Laura, my mum believes she helps you out with the garden everyday and when you speed up your planting, she believes you really are doing it at that speed...you are my sanity every lunchtime...love Angela xx
Bless Paul for that wonderful learning opportunity for the kids. Laura and Aaron, you do a great job using the outdoors and the kitchen as a teaching tool every chance you get. Great job! Your children are so fortunate to have parents like you!
My MIL, when my girls were little, would get a kiddie pool and put tadpoles in them so my girls could watch them grow. Once they were big we would release them at a local pond. One of my girls’ favorite memories of their grandma.
Laura! Your energy and stamina to get so much done is amazing…. The energizer gardener! Love how you take time to slow down as well and enjoy the sweet thrills of childhood with Benjamin and Samantha… making popsicles and exploring the magic of nature with the tadpoles. ❤
I don't believe anyone accomplishes as much in a day, as Laura. I'm amazed and at 64, 2 weeks shy of 65, I'm jealous of your energy! Next year, I need to move my plants around. I have cannas up front and Peonies in the back. So silly!
Laura, I thought of you and your youth yesterday. I pulled a few weeds, planted 18 plants, while my husband dragged 3 bags of mulch around. We felt like we were having a stroke, but had fun with white Pentas. Watching you every morning with hundreds of planting and chores gives me a boost of energy at 75. 😂❤😂 It’s always so sweet being with Samantha and Benjamin! ❤
Oh Barb, I'm 74 and love gardening but can't do everything like I used to , without taking breaks !! We used to buy mulch by the yard and have it delivered and dumped but now we buy the bags, it's a little easier. Going to be in the 90's all week here in sw Pa. so will not be going out in the afternoon I can't take the heat!! Happy gardening to you and hubby !
I agree! I’m 73 and am always energized by Laura’s daily planting and gardening projects. I’m usually done by weeding a large flower bed or two, but always find fun ideas from Laura and watch her videos every morning.
Love the way you took a minute to have spontaneous cuddles with Samantha! The blue/ purple supertunias along the walkway is stunning! What a great video with all the different projects and the special time spent with the kiddos!
My favorite kind of video from GA! Starting with Susan in her garden, random projects back at home, then Benjamin and Samantha living the best life ever, from tadpoles to popsicles. Pure magic!!! ♥️
Good morning!! My goodness pulling tulip bulbs is just like pulling dahlia bulbs! So many bulbs to store. You do so much and I’ve learned so much from you over the years. Your property is so beautiful. I don’t have the space to plant much but I do enjoy your videos and what I learn, even the occasional recipe!
Simplicity, peace, clarity & good friends who have become dear family. Thank you for 3 years of honesty, accountability, closeness, and awesome support throughout the journey!🙏🫶🩷💕❤️☺️😘💐
My grandfather was a bulb planter in Holland a very long time ago. I take care of mine the way my father learned from his father. When the greens die back and leave the bulbs easily, I store the bulbs in a drawer in my kitchen. Only the biggest bulbs will give you a flower next year but plant the little ones (bulbils) in their own bed to grow on. Eventually they will be big enough. My dad use to fertilize at the time of planting. 😊
So do they not need a certain amount of "chill hours"? Everything I've read says they need to have a cold winter. But can't argue with a bulb planter from Holland!
Oh, what fun with the tadpoles! It reminded me of a song from my early childhood: "Bullfrogs and Butterflies." Bullfrogs and butterflies, we've both been born again.... It was a cassette tape Mom would play to wake me up, but I remember the good morning song from the tape better: "Good morning, good morning, good morning, it's time to rise and shine; good morning, good morning, good morning, I hope you're feeling fine; the sun is up, get out of bed; it's time to wake up, you sleepy-head; the day is dawning just for you, and I hope your dreams will all come true, doodley-doo." Or something like that. It was the early '80s. She also made popsicles, but it was just yogurt in popsicles molds. They were ice-crystally, but we weren't hoity-toity about things like that then. Thank you for sharing some fun times and God bless!
So sweet of Paul to bring the tadpoles brought back childhood memories. The fountain for some sounds like a great idea so they can really watch them grow daily and easier. Paul for the “W”
Good Morning! 🍓All those plants in both projects are sp pretty! What a special time planting with your Mom, Samantha & Benjamin! I love watching the random projects! I will be anxious to watch the tulip/daffodil storage process! Samantha's giggle is so cute! What fun activity for the kids, watching those tadpoles grow! Those popsicles look delicious & refreshing! 🐸🍓🪻🌸💚
We live in the Cascade Mtns. We used to leave out tulips in the ground with hardly any coming back in the spring but now we lift them and replant in the fall. They have come back every year in droves!!! We have so much reproduction we share with friends and family!
Laura, I love how you both are making time for your family and your job and balancing both so well! I love how you are able to listen to the voice of reason, "these days won't pass this way again so enjoy them!" How wonderful!
The release of the tadpoles and making popsicles were my favorite parts of this video. I love these moments you share between you and your kids, special memories being made they’ll treasure forever! You are blessed! ❤
Hi Laura and family The mini Vista look great it makes the walk way look stunning, everything looks great. The popsicle looked yummy. Thanks for sharing this video. Hope you all enjoyed your day. 🙂 👋 🌸 🌱
So much fun. I was reminded of frogs and tadpoles from my childhood. On a different note, you have good aim with tossing those plants to the holes! All those years of practice! Really especially enjoyed the content today. Thanks.💜🐸😎
Wow…that’s a lot of work for one day! It’s amazing how one bulb turns in 3 or 4. Lot of beautiful tulips for next season for sure. The children are so adorable! I love how excited Samantha was with the tadpoles her giggles were so cute. Benjamin is growing up so fast and typical boy climbing on the rocks. Thanks for sharing your beautiful gardens and children with us…love your videos! ❤
Loved the frog/pole distraction, and those stunning burgundy iris with the chartreuse foliage.....LOVE!! I also really liked those rows of mini vista indigo flanking the walkway...it'll be awesome!
Planting annuals and lifting tulip and daffodil bulbs for storage was a delightful day in the garden! Making strawberry popsicles added a sweet touch to our outdoor activities. Here's to a colorful and fruitful season ahead!
The squeals from Samantha over the frogs!! Love it!! You’re a superwoman! I can’t imagine how challenging it can be sometimes to make time for everything you have going on but you manage to make it look so easy! Can’t wait to see the new batch of cut flowers!
Thank you sooooo much for putting up the pictures of what u planted!!!! I can’t tell you how easy that makes it for all of us!!! Appreciate it more than I can express Love love love my afternoons I spend with you all !!!
Hi Laura and Aaron. I looove your channel and have been watching for over 6 years or so. You both have such great personalities with caring and gentle spirits 🌸💕. I love watching your videos in the morning and/or before bed at night. What I especially love is the natural sound of nature, your biotone bag crinkling, and watching you move the soil and plop a plant in. I understand why you add music and fast forward, however, the natural sound is sooo pleasing and relaxing, yet motivating- please do more videos on real time with no music 😊😊😊
That was so adorable -- explaining to Benjamin that they were still in tadpole form but they grew legs, and he said, "Oooooh." 😄 That's so amazing and wondrous for kids. (And me!)
Laura and Aaron, you have two absolutely gorgeous children. I loved watching them both help make the popsicles and with the tadpoles. Samantha's squeals of delight brought a big smile to my face. You are doing a wonderful job with them. Thank you for sharing them with us.
I love your videos that are all over the place. It makes your amazing gardening life seem a little more normal. I've been meaning to remark about how much Samantha looks like a mini version of your mother, and I find it so precious.
Just a tip for your popsicles… you can use monkfruit sweetener if you need a sweetener. It’s natural and very low in carbs/sugar. Also Greek yogurt works well as a milky base to the yogurt, plus it adds some protein. Samantha’s “LIFT OFF!” Was precious❤
The pond water looks crystal clear, even with the string algae! Love it. When the kids were small, we lived a short drive from strawberry fields with a farm stand. I'd get a flat of berries, and make freezer sorbet. It was crude, but delicious, and even now that they are all grown, they remember that sorbet fondly! Delicious memories!
Seeing you knee cushion, I bought one. I used it yesterday while I was replacing top boards on a deck. Game changer. That thing can be used for many different things.
Love the menagerie of activities! Some work, some fun. Paul is so thoughtful to have brought the tadpoles and made a kid adventure! Another great video, thanks!
The frogs bring back so many good memories. We used to put them in our fountain and watch them grow, eventually they jump out and go on their way. It was so much fun!
What a productive day! A hodge-podge of projects, but so fun. I love purples and yellows together. I'm looking forward to seeing these plants in your landscape after they have put on some bulk. Those mini indigo plants along the stone walkway are going to look beautiful, and with the marigolds behind them - gorgeous. I remember doing this with pollywogs when I was a kid. Love Samantha's reaction to the pollywogs and she is getting tall - so great to see the hugs. Benjamin's face after smelling the vanilla - priceless.
Just feed (bone meal, etc.) the tulips, leave them in the ground and plant your zinnia and cosmos amongst them. Mulch over for the winter and voila the bulbs will come back strong
That’s what I was thinking also. Laura can also cover them with some extra compost mulch to increase soil depth for the annuals but allow most of the bulb leaves exposed to dry out.
Gardening is very hard work. I am 72, it's hard on the back with all the bending but I love it anyway. Laura make it look easy peasy. Laura is a very awesome person. She knows how and what she's doing. 🤓💜

Love menagerie videos. Great planting at your Mum’s. Love all the plants and there going to look so beautiful. FROGS. Thanks Paul. Yummy frozen popsicles. Yeah I don’t think I’d use maple syrup either. Thanks again for sharing this with us. Appreciated.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I'd love a space to pack with annuals like this!! Beautiful!!!! My local store prices have gone up so much this year that sadly seed planting might be my only planting next year.
I love the frogs.. I need to share my experience.Just to warn you. Frogs took over my fountain and I had millions of tadpoles. It seriously affected my fountain and cleanliness 😅
I'm on the UK, I watch this with my mother who has vascular dementia..Laura, my mum believes she helps you out with the garden everyday and when you speed up your planting, she believes you really are doing it at that speed...you are my sanity every lunchtime...love Angela xx

Oh my goodness, the little frog adventure was precious! Paul is so sweet to have thought of y’all when he found them. Thanks for sharing with us!
I loved watching the delight of the kids with the tadpoles and frogs.
That was so special!
Bless Paul for that wonderful learning opportunity for the kids. Laura and Aaron, you do a great job using the outdoors and the kitchen as a teaching tool every chance you get. Great job! Your children are so fortunate to have parents like you!

Very sweet of Paul for thinking of the kids and bringing over the frogs! ❤Paul

Definitely new camera. Everything looks more vibrant and lively. Especially her eyes popping up more than all previous videos 😍

I bought 10 bags of 2cubic ft mulch on sale. I don't remember the bags being that heavy the last time I mulched. 😮 still have 3/4 bag left to do. 🙁
Ladies, 67 here and having to split my gardening up into tasks each day.😊

@Ibis333 got it, makes sense!

I feel sorry for Benjamin. Having to have that haircut like he's in the marines
He doesn't look too deprived to me!
He does like to play with soldiers. Quite the best patriotic boy I have seen on You Tube. Maybe he likes his hair short.
I love your videos that are all over the place. It makes your amazing gardening life seem a little more normal. I've been meaning to remark about how much Samantha looks like a mini version of your mother, and I find it so precious.

I love the moment Samantha comes up for a hug, so precious ❤💗🌷

That was so cool to take a break so the kids could put the baby frogs in the pond! Thank you Paul!🥰🥰👍👍😎😎
Love the menagerie of activities! Some work, some fun. Paul is so thoughtful to have brought the tadpoles and made a kid adventure! Another great video, thanks!
Love you kiddos! And you are such a great Mom. Time with them when they are little is so precious! Your pond is looking really good!
Cutest smile ever from Benjamin when you said, "Smell that"! 🤩
Oh my Samantha’s joyous squeals ❤❤❤❤😊
You need to release some snails and shrimp into the pond to deal with The algae!!! It would help tremendously. And it's all natural
The frogs bring back so many good memories. We used to put them in our fountain and watch them grow, eventually they jump out and go on their way. It was so much fun!

Such joy! I remember my grandpa had tadpoles that we would watch turn into frogs. Great memories.❤
Got to go water, Ohio IS in a heat wave 90's ugh. Stay safe everyone in the heat HUGS!
Gardening is very hard work. I am 72, it's hard on the back with all the bending but I love it anyway. Laura make it look easy peasy. Laura is a very awesome person. She knows how and what she's doing. 🤓💜
Thanks for details on handling the spent tulips. Removing them fro. The ground and storing to finish absorbing nutrients was very informative.
Love to see you cooking too and involving the kids.
I will definitely try this ice cream recipe. My little girl is allergic to dairy and eggs, so she can't really eat any kind of ice cream. This one seems simple and delicious, I can't wait to try it, I'll even make some with other fruits, I have cherries, strawberries, raspberries and apricots in the garden. Thank you Laura ❤️
So much fun, diferent things to do! When kids are envolved it's way more fun! Blessings!
I love random days!❤❤
That first project alone would have taken me all day lol.😊

I have to say this: Laura you worked so hard for what you have, and the seeds you've sown ( pun intended) are bearing the fruits of your labor. You deserve everything you have and more. ❤ from Vancouver Canada.
Always a great video. The garden is always amazing, Samantha is so sweet and Benjamin is so cute!
My Vinny bear (dog) just had a teca ob done and is recovering. The vet techs were surprised when they found that we weren't kidding vincent really watches UA-cam GardenAnswer. He can't always run around, but he enjoys watching you work in the yard and tries to save you from the cats. He specifically asks for it by signaling to his grandma.
Wow, I love the purple subertunias edging
Kids are so cute, what fun experiences!
Amazing video.
Got so much done.
Including Pop sickles. Love watching your babies they are growing so fast.

Oh thats beautiful. Your mom's garden is spectacular. And the supertunias looks oop good already. So beautiful
Love the pics of the plants being shown up on screen👏👏 well done to the editor💜
Love the tadpole experience for your kids! Brings back great childhood memories.❤️
