Also, You can use any polyester or all cotton thread. If you are sewing heavy duty items, like canvas or denim, I would use an upholstery thread. If you use a heavier thread, you will need to use a heavy duty needle too.
Hello, your videos are very nice. You stated you have had a couple of these come in for repair and I was hoping you could clarify something about this machine. My daughter purchased me one one last week. The add stated worked good and included photos. She drove a couple hour trip and returned home to find that he did not give her the power cord for it in the box. The photo clearly showed the cord, so we contacted him and got a reply that he lost the cord and had looked and couldn't find. He forgot to mention that when he told them how nice it ran. I started looking for one yesterday after watching many videos on the machine. This one has two terminal prongs for the power cord . I saw 2 others online like that. The remaining ones had 3 prongs similar to the cord for 15-91 or 201 machine. Even the book that came with it showed three. Do you know what the difference is on the machines where I could figure out how to purchase a cord? Thank you for any info. I would love to return this thing to that jerk but it is a 5 hour drive for me.
You can use the same cord used for a 15-91 or 201. The machine only has two prongs, the cord has 3 holes. But that only matters if the pedal is connected to the 2 prong on the machine, which it is not. Most likely you will only be able to find black. But that is okay. I hope the machine runs fine. These machines tend to get 'stuck when sitting for a long time. Take the top cover off, and the bottom cover and oil generously with sewing machine oil. Wherever metal meets metal. Good luck

They are the same the a, k and g indicate where they were manufactured
