El Espiritu del Vino, is another fantastic album. I wish you could understand what he is saying while he is singing it. It is a transcendent experience.
His voice is so original, it may take some time to adjust to his inflection, and the way he conveys the message through emotion. It definitely helps to know what he is describing during the song. When i first heard Heroes, I thought WTF is this. Then the echoes in my mind made me want to listen to them again, and i fell in love. Knowing the language, definitely is a huge part of it, as he often sings in code. Or as i call it: poetry. It is kind of like Tarantino. it is not for everyone, but they guy is a total master.
dude you should make the Iberia Sumergida live 93 tour version ( on video the intro the crow goes wild , great riff..) that was going to be their final tour (and have been for almost a year and a half touring including 100 shows in US with engineer of Iron Maiden despite health issues of band members they were tight as hell.Or the Oración song live in Senda 91 ep is a really strong powerful performance balanced between the mess of live vibe epic and tight skill display. Finally the Deshacer el mundo song is probably and great scope of the power, skill , poetry and beauty of their music with a great sound from their final album ( the live version on their 2007 after 10 year break world tour including a show in Mexico with 100000 people in foro sol is pretty outstanding.)The same song on MTV unplugged is really really good and shows the craft of the band as real band with the song progression and 2 guitars ..
