I really wish more of these sellers would add an option for a display back. For many people furiously doing research this may be their only watch, and seeing the movement is part of the magic
To paraphrase an old saying: "I don't know classic watches, but I know what I like."
The label of homage for watches doesn't have much meaning for me since I don't know anything about "the classics."
I started collecting about two years ago and only bought things I liked and/or fulfilled a certain niche/usage. All those are basically filled and my interest in buying anything new has dramatically diminished. My last purchase was one of the Accents from Erebus - the orange fume - hopefully arriving this September. Billed as a GADA watch, it will complement all my others and give me a even two-week rotation. That's enough for me. ;-)
But I will continue to watch this channel. The presentation is always spectacular as I am sure all the thousands of subscribers will also attest to. You do great work, sir! Thank you!

if the Addiesdive AD2054 had white lume and indices it would be appealing. It has a larger, better hour hand than the green dial earlier version. But the white digits on the bezel insert and the beige fake vintage lume on the dial really clash. An inexpensive nice quartz. I'd buy it if they would offer it with white or light greenish lume.

Would we ever be able to get a Junghans style dress watch with the extreme domed crystal, acrylic hopefully? I think a black minimalist watch like that, with a displayback for a PT5000 would sell like hotcakes.

Fast forwarded through a lot of this video as the first three are just your standard rolex sub copies, but the baltany I love, good to see something different that stands out from the crowd, the Pierre Paulin is also a nice change from the usual copies, keep these unique watches coming

The AD2112 is a beautiful watch and its new price is a bargain compared to the original one. Hopefully the NH34 proves to be a more reliable movement than the NH36 fitted to mine.
I bought my watch about 18 months ago (unfortunately too late to get the superior "tool less" bracelet) and it is the most inaccurate watch in my collection. I still buy Addiesdive watches but have stuck by my decision to only buy quartz from now on.

I bought a ton of straps and a few watches.
Bought a Addiesdive Ad2030 sand color and a matching suede strap. Huge fan of Dune.
Bought a Merkur Pierre Paulin jumping hands grey 38m dial.
Pagani Design PD 1701 V3 speed master homage ( paid 64eur)
Finally a Casio 1200 ( royale) and a couple of straps for it.
Since I went bonkers and to gift myself for my 41st anniversary I bought a grail watch, a 38 m sapphire Junghans Max Bill roman numerals no date on Chrono.

I ordered the Hruodland Turbine Pilot which I love but they sent me the wrong logo option the first time. I also ordered a new ish Addiesdive quartz diver for my dad, the H3D-QZ, and I got a Cadisen chronograph for my uncle.

I got my Grandson the Addiesdive quartz in Blue and it's a great watch, that is leaps above anything in the same price range. 10 yes old with a very quality true waterproof timepiece.

Nice video with some good selections in different price ranges. Appreciated. I picked up the Pierre Paulin jump watch in this sale, in the salmon version on the metal "paper clip" band. Very unique watch (at least to me). And the patterns and font on the dial make it look a lot more expensive than it is. I will say, I wish the circle on the minute hand was larger so you could see the hour number underneath it when it is at 12 o'clock and changing. But I suspect they just used a stock hand they had instead of creating a new one for this watch. Still nice, though. I don't understand why everyone seems to be going for the leather strap over that cool metal strap, though. Oddly, it's only offered with the salmon color. Also, does Merkur (the parent brand of Pierre Paulin) just put the watches in random nylon cases? I have two, and the first one was in that camouflage pattern like in your video (odd for a luxury style watch) and this one came in a red with flowers pattern case. I wonder how many different ones there are?

Check out what sort of case back it has. If it's got a Rolex style back, it'll cost you a heap $$ every 2 yrs when you get the battery replaced.

No 1 is a fail, because the local Watch shop is going to charge you heaps every 2 years to replace the battery under that Rolex style case back !!
I just use one of those inflatable ball case openers. Used it many times on this style of case back. Already had this one off to have a look at the movement.
By the way, you can also buy a kit of metal openers for that style of case back from AliExpress for about $5 to $10.
Batteries plus sells lifetime battery replacements I just bring it to them when it goes dead ✌️
