What a beautiful and gentle dog. Summer didn't appear to be fighting being groomed, even let his paws be handled. His coat looked so healthy when you were done with him.
I was impressed! My dog is an agouti pomsky. He looks like a mini version of this dog except he’d be off the rails screaming and crying. He’s a real “song of my people” dog.
Here's how I look at it - If they lived as long as WE do, we'd only get to have a couple of pets - but because they don't, we get to have many, each unique and precious. It helps for me. I mean, I still miss 'em like crazy, but somehow, this helps.

yah I can tell you as someone who owned a wolf, there's no way a groomer would get that far along with a real one. I hope they keep propagating this breed, really looks like a keeper and would cut down on the amount of wolf hybrids being taken on by people who shouldn't be having them
We had a 'Northern Inuit' dog that the family misses so much. His double coat could shake off all the water and soap applied, lol. He was very smart, about 80 lbs and lived for 18 years. He was vocal ('talked' to communicate that wasn't just barking) and had webbed feet. Great hiker, loved canoeing and was not a confident swimmer without a dog life jacket. He learned new things throughout his life and was happiest when watching our family.
"You know what dire wolves are, right? They're like wolves. Only dire." I'm just surprised how calm this pup was, given that Siberian huskies are such drama queens.

It doesn’t matter how big and tough the breed looks in the beginning, those Happy Hoodies take all the toughness out of them, and makes a Direwolf look as cute as a Chihuahua. 😂❤

Your description of the Northern Inuit is spot on. However, they are NOT first time dogs, but for a dedicated and attentive owner who seeks a all around pal they are great . Goofy big cuddlebugs with a good heart! A friend of mine has a small pack and breed very carefully. Temperament and excellent physical health is the top priority ofcourse. (Valkyrie Wolfalikes, UK)
When I was in the Navy, and regularly doing triathlons, I was stationed in Pensacola, FL. The beach on base was absolutely gorgeous, and because it is a training base, almost never used (weirdly, young Navy Sailor students want to leave base and party a lot!). So, I would go to the beach, get just past the breaking waves, and swim back and forth along the beach line for training. We were warned about how aggressive bull sharks are. One day, I bumped into something large, and alive. The water was only about 4-5 feet deep. I stood up and yelled in panic anticipating fighting a bull shark. The swimmer I had bumped into back-to-back also stood up and yelled in panic anticipating fighting a bull shark! We were the only two people at the beach at all (on land or in the water). We had managed to be looking in opposite directions and hit each other while both of us were swimming for exercise!!
We had a dog that looked like him as a kid, more of a mix though. I didn't appreciate her like I should have as a kid. I am almost 40 and miss her more as the years go by. Love and miss you, Speck. I don't want to go if there aren't dogs there.

What a lovely dog Summer is! He's so large and it doesn't really show until you crouch next to him to trim his back nails. He's huge in a majestic way and look at the size of that arm! (Summer's, that is! 😂) One of the bestest of the bestest boys!

I've worked (in vet med) with a Northern Inuit who actually is related to one of the Game of Thrones Inuits. (Her sire played Bran Starks 'Summer' as a puppy in the first episode). She's beautiful, sweet, smart and very friendly.

Lovely! Summer has the same temperament of the few NID I've met. Very clever but chill when it comes to handling. Make terrible guard dogs because they're so friendly and accepting of strangers. I really hope this breed gets more attention and can reduce breeding and selling of wolf dogs.

Yep, these were the perfect dogs to cast as film regulations in the UK forbid child actors working with actual wolves. So, a very wolf looking dog was the best option. In addition to being very wolf like in appearance, these dogs are quite easy to work with. Sophie Turner (the actress that portrayed Sansa Stark) became so attached to her Northern Inuit that she adopted it.
When the video started I straight up thought he was a high-content wolf mix. What a gorgeous boy! Great to see breeders nailing the "I want a WOLF" aesthetic without the sacrifice of having a wolf-dog.
For so many new experiences, he was very well behaved. I can see why the Game of Thrones people used this breed for the show. He really looks like a giant wolf!
Nice! I have two Canadian Eskimo dogs from Nunavut. Totally opposite personalities than him because they were bred by the inuit for sledding! Although they were almost all killed in historical events, the breed is recognized by the kennel. Surprised to see this breed of dog in the video is so calm and family friendly.
Stunningly gorgeous. Huskies are my favourite type. I have a Siberian currently but have had a Samoyed, Norwegian Elkhound and Malamute mix in the past. The only one whose coat was challenging for me was the Sam. Your grooming makes it look so easy which shows what a great groomer you are. Continued success with your UA-cam channel.

Yep, these were the perfect dogs to cast as film regulations in the UK forbid child actors working with actual wolves. So, a very wolf looking dog was the best option. In addition to being very wolf like in appearance, these dogs are quite easy to work with. Sophie Turner (the actress that portrayed Sansa Stark) became so attached to her Northern Inuit that she adopted it.
He was perfect when getting his paws done and nails clipped!
When the video started I straight up thought he was a high-content wolf mix. What a gorgeous boy! Great to see breeders nailing the "I want a WOLF" aesthetic without the sacrifice of having a wolf-dog.

For so many new experiences, he was very well behaved. I can see why the Game of Thrones people used this breed for the show. He really looks like a giant wolf!

Nice! I have two Canadian Eskimo dogs from Nunavut. Totally opposite personalities than him because they were bred by the inuit for sledding! Although they were almost all killed in historical events, the breed is recognized by the kennel. Surprised to see this breed of dog in the video is so calm and family friendly.

Stunningly gorgeous. Huskies are my favourite type. I have a Siberian currently but have had a Samoyed, Norwegian Elkhound and Malamute mix in the past. The only one whose coat was challenging for me was the Sam. Your grooming makes it look so easy which shows what a great groomer you are. Continued success with your UA-cam channel.
