Can you believe that people actually have to live in RVs. They actually don’t travel in them! They live in them. Full time. Oh my god I can’t believe it. It’s so uncomfortable. My 1st world problems are just so hard to deal with.
Lately, it seems like many of the campgrounds are their own 3rd world country! Some of the things we have witnessed make 3rd world countries look like a pretty good option!
I live in a park full of full timers, including me. But we welcome the buses and travelers. We've had all kinds. The worse travelers have been the oil field workers who nearly started a war here. They were drunk and disrespectful the entire time they were here.
I know the park. We a couple of hours away and camp in that area to fly fish. That park has always had full timers and we learned quickly to never stay there. If you’re ever coming through again, you should stay at the Bull Shoals River State Park. It is spacious, always immaculate and has really friendly staff. Lovely to walk down by the river or go out in a trout boat for a refreshingly beautiful day on the White River. Sorry you had a bad experience. That DOES NOT represent Arkansas. There is a reason why you can always get a spot on the fly at “that other park”. 😎
My Dad ,A WWII veteran told me as I left home to go on my 1st water tower weld job ,wherever you go , if you look for good folks , you'll find them...don't bother looking for the bad folks because they'll find you. He landed on Normandy Beach on D-Day and was caught uP in the Battle of the Bulge. He still met interesting people in the middle of a world war. He admired the regular German people and respected the regular German soldiers. He taught me many lessons including when getting to a new place , buy a local newspaper and eat the food the locals eat. At night you can read that newspaper and go right to sleep because there'll be nothing on your mind. Good luck and following winds kind travellers. I enjoyed watching your travelogue.
Your dad is a dying breed. He reminds me of my dad and his brothers. My dad served in the army air corps and two of his brothers served in the army in WWII. His oldest brother was killed in the battle of the Bulge on the second day of the battle in Germany.
Same thing happened to me and my wife at the same park. He refunded half of my money after I threatened to take him to court. He said I was "never going to be satisfied" after I asked him to change out the breaker cause it was bad and then he charged ne for replacing his faulty breaker. Also accused ne of being rude and threatening to his office teenage girl who was more interested in her phone than helping customers. He is s real piece of work.

We got kicked out of a RV park but not before my buddy called out the female caretaker for her man boobs. Needless to say the sheriff was called in and said we couldn’t leave because we were too drunk to drive. It was more enjoyable than you think.
I am on a 6 month road trip now. Stealth camping, 16 foot converted utility trailer. Everyone raves about my set up. I do not camp with others,, easy to do in the west. Harder to do east of New Mexico
Did you know that Arkansas is the only state in the union that could place a border up and be self sufficient by sourcing everything from in state? Including diamonds...it is the only state that produces diamonds.
Arkansas is a beautiful state with many really nice people. However, in response your question...Teeth and sex partners you're not related to? ;-) Also, even though it closed due to financial reasons, there is a diamond mine in Colorado. Placing a border around AR would likely go unnoticed except by residents that commute outside the state for jobs. It's kind of like the North Dakota of the south. It is technically legal to beat your wife in Arkansas, but you may not do it more than once a month.
I would have kicked them out as well! She's definitely a road hazard! Definitely a hazard for distracted driving! Wonder if she does housework? Cook? Make beds? Check the air in the coach tires? Not a problem if she doesn't!😂
I got kicked out of the same park. We were visiting friends in the area. The owner is a crazy person and we ended in a cuss fight. Such an imbecile! There was a much better park across the river.
Well the bumpy roads make sense. The southern states pay much more in federal road taxes but get the least amount of it back from the government. So they basically have to do it themselves if they can.
I don’t understand how that park is always so full, I live a few minutes away and my mother lived further down denton ferry. I’ve heard many stories over the years about that specific park being A-holes for no good reason at all. More than any other resort on the white. Sorry for yalls trouble! Don’t write off the whole area, just steer clear from that park! 🤙❤️
It could be full of people from the Northeastern U.S. Some , but not all ,have very abrasive, sharp attitudes. Even those people can be fun if you can get thru to them.
I've been going out that way most my life to visit, I have family out there. I always find it hard to come back home (Memphis TN) after spending a few days in the Ozarks. Most my experiences with the residents of that area have been largely positive. Some of the nicest and most humble people I've ever met in my life. From talking to several people, a lot of people from up north retire and move out that way. Now I'm not saying all Yankees are assholes, but I'm willing to bet money most the people that are are out there caus8ng problems ain't from there, or haven't lived there most their lives.
@@crimsontide1980 I completely agree. This area is filled with retirees, vacationers, and then locals. Most of the rude people I come across are newer transplants or entitled vacationers. Locals know this too obviously and can have a short temper with these people. I also agree that 95% of people have adapted and are beyond nice and personable. However, there is still that 5% that will always be rude. The manager of this park is a prime example.
You should've told that manager to POUND SAND. He has no right to tell you to leave without a good reason. And accusations from a neighboring RV'r DOES NOT constitute removal. Actually,.....you could've called the police. Your were simply asked to leave because you were "outsiders". Discriminatory and revenge based accusations.
You drive such a nice coach like that, brings out the worst jealousy streak in people. Even if the winds were kicking up a dust storm, you are the one that dirtied my RV. 😆
I’d say the both of you might soften your big me little you approach . Some people can’t afford rv’s like yours but it doesn’t make them any less of person . The rv community are a mixture of the rich and the poor but most don’t care if they have a diesel pusher or a 1975 Scotty tt . They just enjoy camping and meeting new people and don’t have expectations of a ( perfect world ) . I’m trying to be respectful to you and tell it like I see your video . Try and be humble in your daily walk and you might not embarrass yourself on your next vid. Good luck . Btw nice jeep ! I helped put that together . Jefferson north assembly . Signed ( the little guy )
In the time that we have been researching or actively RVing, every forum on every website is filled with hateful, vicious, nasty, jealous comments from all parties both wealthy and not. It's really one of those dirty little secrets of the RV world. It's a shame because I really think most people RV because it allows them to be more free than the average American. Unfortunately, there are always those people who try to control everything and bend everyone to their will. We don't have the time or the desire to do that, so we just talk about our experiences with them on our channel. Oh and thanks for the Jeep!
I had a long think about what kind of vehicle I would try and find to convert into a camper and I pretty much settled on a LWB sprinter van with a higher roof. It is large enough to be able to live in it for a couple of months in a row and it is small enough to not attract nasty types of attention. Also in Europe we can enjoy a large number of and very conveniently spaced free RV parking spaces in which most of them allow over-nighting (and if not allowed it is either not enforced or illegal - by international treaty - to enforce) But hey, I get it, a city bus sized RV is very handy and comfortable to live full time in but one can imagine quite easily such a apparatus is very likely to attract the attention of those who are easily offended, have perceived powers to enforce some kind of sheit, are loud but demand others to be quiet and are generally entitled and jealous... generally such people should be avoided like the plague. So what I would recommend is to either downsize quite drastically or go to places which don't mind nice and large rigs...
Those, in the more expensive units, have the ability, to have legal counsel not only get them out of fraudulent charges but have the municipalities pay them for the harassment the agent of the state initiated.
All unit's have there pluses and minus'. In some of these 'resort' places, they like to think they are better than others. They likely wouldn't even allow a van conversion in to start with. This seems to be a very common issue for random people traveling vs people that either own a space or are yearly regulars at places like that. And with the 'van life' trend in N. America, a Sprinter is going to get more hairy eyeballs than a monster coach like they have. 'Camping'/'RVing' in N.America seems to be quite different than in the UK and other parts of Europe. Get what you like and what you can afford. Like anything, to each their own. A big fancy unit like theirs is going to attract admirers. Comes with ownership. A cool kitted out Sprinter is going to do the same. All one can hope for is those having a look are respectful. :) Good luck with your conversion! DIY'ing one into an RV would be a ton of fun!
This is how I picture my beautiful young wife and I spending our lives together once we save up enough money to buy our own Palace On Wheels. Meeting new people and being kind to everybody who deserved it. Life’s so precious and it’s just too damn short imo. Just enjoying life and laughing at the haters while packing a lil heat to protect my love and what’s mine. Uhhhhhhh can’t wait 😜. Y’all are awesome God bless y’all
You need to only stay at weekender parks. People that get away for the weekends are the younger crowds that want to have more fun. Those long term parks with older full timers are always a little stuffy for sure.
I live in Memphis, and you bet our roads are absolutely horrid for decades now. This city/county is the most taxed in all of Tennessee YET they refuse to fix the roads.
Agreed! Roads are disintegrating , taxes steadily climbing here and nothing to show for it. Then again, that's the common theme among large Democrat run cities
They use all those taxes to fight crime but release everyone on their own recognizance bail. What could possibly go wrong? The criminals don't show up for trial? Possibly?
@@davidschlarp1606 Actually that isn't it, but I can see you don't come from here so absolutely know nothing just spouting the right wing talking points. Fact is a lot of our taxes goes for graft, and politicians needing new cars each year as one city councilman said a few years ago that they can't be seen in a used car. Memphis is Detroit circa 1990/1992.
There is no reason to be belligerent. That includes both parties. I openly laugh at people who act like that. We will not go to that level. We have respect for ourselves. We are not full timers and have never had an attitude from anyone. We bring a positive attitude with us. That will go along way with people. Kill them with kindness. That disarms them. Having a built in negative argumentative attitude will never help you with people.
Agreed! We have never had anything like that ever happed to us though 4 years of traveling and staying in RV parks. Some people are super friendly while others just keep to themselves and that's fine with us because we do both - depending on the day.

My 1st world problems are just so hard to deal with.
Lately, it seems like many of the campgrounds are their own 3rd world country! Some of the things we have witnessed make 3rd world countries look like a pretty good option!
Only a selfish idiot would be stupid enough to say what you just said.
I'm enjoying this video more than I thought I would.
Me too
😏
I can’t stop staring myself
Good Stuff,Great Tips😄👍🏿
I agree
I started watching this at 8.30 this morning. Now 11pm and on play number 163. Roll on tomorrow.
I love it when someone "kicks me out" when I'm already half way out the door. I swear they do it to make them selves feel better......
"You can't fire me, I quit"
I live in a park full of full timers, including me. But we welcome the buses and travelers. We've had all kinds. The worse travelers have been the oil field workers who nearly started a war here. They were drunk and disrespectful the entire time they were here.
I see your points.
I had to watch this video several times because my eyes just could not stop looking at the lovely and beautiful Angie. 👍👍👍
I enjoyed watching your travelogue.
huge respect to your dad, thank him for his service.
Your dad is a dying breed. He reminds me of my dad and his brothers. My dad served in the army air corps and two of his brothers served in the army in WWII. His oldest brother was killed in the battle of the Bulge on the second day of the battle in Germany.
i can't imagine wanting to spend my existence in RV parks
Then don't. Jus sayin...
@@HoosierHayday that’s a good one ☝️, then don’t , and don’t watch RV park videos bud , just stay at your house and chill safe like
Ain't that the truth!
I totally agree, especially if people like this are what I will run into
perhaps you are legally blind. .. I am sure this guy has a great time in all RV parks.
Sounds like a major doushe nozzle
absolutely hit me the wrong way…was there anything you appreciated on your journey instead of complaints
Y’all have a lot obviously to be grateful for
Let’s hear about that next time ok🦋🤗🥰
I guess we could change the channel name to "Blissful Travelers"! Wait, everyone else is already doing that. We are simply recording the other side that nobody tells you about.
@@irritatedtraveler gotcha…I guess I overlooked the name🤦🏼♀️😂🥰hope your next journey is great
I don’t know if I’d be more irritated if I was stuck with this woman, or stuck with this motor home. Wish I could find out! 😍
Trophy wife, trophy coach, what could be irritating, I guess I missed it.
We got kicked out of a RV park but not before my buddy called out the female caretaker for her man boobs. Needless to say the sheriff was called in and said we couldn’t leave because we were too drunk to drive. It was more enjoyable than you think.
Men of culture we meet again.
The “ Irritated Traveler”........fits perfectly.
Oh my gosh her head flip with her hair is hilarious!!!!
I am on a 6 month road trip now. Stealth camping, 16 foot converted utility trailer. Everyone raves about my set up. I do not camp with others,, easy to do in the west. Harder to do east of New Mexico
Shout out to all man of culture here in the channel 🤘🏻
Nice shirt on your wife.
Yes mate I agree. The green I’m not so sure of but on her she rocks it totally.

You might want to get something called the "Fridge Fixer" that prevents the refrigerator doors from opening. Easy installation and works great.
Yep, you’re a dude! Lol
Amazon great the fridge fixer
Duct tape is cheaper.
@@brianroberts815 lol that was my first thought. Use a strap or some duct tape
I need one them.......I might lose some weight 🤔🤗🤗..
Did you know the toothbrush was invented in Arkansas? If it was invented anywhere else it would be called a teethbrush.
Did you know that Arkansas is the only state in the union that could place a border up and be self sufficient by sourcing everything from in state? Including diamonds...it is the only state that produces diamonds.
😂
@@sirslimothy7402 that’s awesome 👏
@@sirslimothy7402 ..That is not correct , diamonds were also mined in Colorado. There are diamond deposits also in Wyoming and California.
Arkansas is a beautiful state with many really nice people. However, in response your question...Teeth and sex partners you're not related to? ;-)
Also, even though it closed due to financial reasons, there is a diamond mine in Colorado.
I didn’t hear a word he said, lol
I got kicked out of the same park. We were visiting friends in the area. The owner is a crazy person and we ended in a cuss fight. Such an imbecile! There was a much better park across the river.
I got kicked out too. Owner is a lune!
owner cra cra
You are one lucky man! The curves, paint job, and especially the front end wow!! Oh. And the bus is gorgeous also.
Seems like it would be impossible to be irritated traveling with her, my goodness what a beautiful woman.
It’s all in their name… The Irritated Traveler….hummmm
Well the bumpy roads make sense. The southern states pay much more in federal road taxes but get the least amount of it back from the government. So they basically have to do it themselves if they can.
A very entertaining 14 minutes--what was the discussion about again😂?
Beautiful green scenery 😎
Meh. Some of the wives got a look at Angie and thought, "Hell, no."
Funny how one side of the story looks so nice. I bet they tell it very different.
I don't think our side of the story was that nice!
Absolutely gorgeous.
You guys should just stay home
Stay tuned . . .
The bumpiest road is in Cambodia between Phnom Penh and Ankor Wat.
Also in Europe we can enjoy a large number of and very conveniently spaced free RV parking spaces in which most of them allow over-nighting (and if not allowed it is either not enforced or illegal - by international treaty - to enforce)
But hey, I get it, a city bus sized RV is very handy and comfortable to live full time in but one can imagine quite easily such a apparatus is very likely to attract the attention of those who are easily offended, have perceived powers to enforce some kind of sheit, are loud but demand others to be quiet and are generally entitled and jealous... generally such people should be avoided like the plague.
Good luck with your conversion! DIY'ing one into an RV would be a ton of fun!
Tart cart, perfect inexpensive DIY RV.
Good for this guy I'd say he's well entertained throughout the days.
The idea of living next to a maggot-infested dumpster and all those spawning flies immediately turned me off that first RV park
Of course they keep raising taxes. How else can they give it away to those who won't work?
They use all those taxes to fight crime but release everyone on their own recognizance bail. What could possibly go wrong? The criminals don't show up for trial? Possibly?
@@davidschlarp1606 Actually that isn't it, but I can see you don't come from here so absolutely know nothing just spouting the right wing talking points. Fact is a lot of our taxes goes for graft, and politicians needing new cars each year as one city councilman said a few years ago that they can't be seen in a used car. Memphis is Detroit circa 1990/1992.
All you have to do is look at your leadership.
There is no reason to be belligerent. That includes both parties. I openly laugh at people who act like that.
We will not go to that level. We have respect for ourselves. We are not full timers and have never had an
attitude from anyone. We bring a positive attitude with us. That will go along way with people. Kill them
with kindness.
@@irritatedtraveler you guys seem really happy and friendly people, always nice to see that in general, so many bitter people about everything in Mississippi
But of course when the title of your channel is “Irritated Traveler” I’m thinking you will never be happy.
That guy that complained was probably one of those guys that wanted to be a jerk because of how much nicer your RW is than his.
