This is all news to me, from the pineapples to the loofa. My wife and I took an Alaska cruise for the 1st time last summer and wondered why people would decorate their doors with pineapples on an Alaskan cruise. I guess we live under a rock 😂 thanks for the heads up.
You guys are so refreshing, low key is the way to go, not drawing attention to yourself, gives you the opportunity to enjoy your travels more and not be questioned continuously about your adventures. Safe travels to you both.
The best part of being an rver is don't knock it until you try it. Enjoying life to its fullest and we can't think of a better way to enjoy our freedom than swinging like we're free to what we want we hope some of you who responded negatively will change your mind's
This is by far one of the funniest videos I have seen. Karris reactions were so funny, and the faces she was making had me rolling on the floor from laughing. Every person has the right to enjoy whatever it is that makes them happy, but I believe that you don't bother anyone unless they actually display interest in the same thing. As they say, to eachs own. Stay happy and safe travels.
I had NOT heard any of this 'til now. I was between my jaw hitting my shoe tops & ready to piss myself. My store sells a limited color selection of loofas (loofahs?). He didn't mention dark & light green. Oh boy-Just for kicks I'll see (w/o actually "watching") who buys what, but I won't be able to just stand there, nor do I really need to complete my day this way. Now, about those pineapples... I will have to revisit these "Villages" to refresh my memory. Think I stumbled across them before on UA-cam. Any of you "Hipsters or..." hear of a "Dixies Trailer Park? I'm still not sure about that place; is it "Live" or is it Memorex?
When my husband and I shower, we always hang our towels and loofahs out to dry!!! I had no idea we were sending the wrong signals to our camping neighbors!!! 😅😮
I consider this a PSA! I am so out of touch with these things and it would be so embarrassing if someone approached me with a scrubby. In fact I hiding mine when I go to the bathhouse.
I so agree & im soo much more naive than I thought! Makes me think I don’t want to put out any kind of decorations or bird feeders at my campsite cause someone somewhere is going to “misinterpret” the intention!! ;-)

Thank you Bob and Karri, this is new information to me, we love to camp and have never saw anything likes this, maybe because we weren't looking for it, not sure. Love Karri's expressions when you were reading the descriptions. Thank you again and take care!
My husband and I were sipping on our Zevia with heavy cream, our Keto weekend dessert, and almost couldn't finish without choking from laughter. Who knew!? We'll be studying golf carts and sites in general for these unusual signals. I'll never look at my teal scrubby the same. It's in our RV shower. I looked up the pineapple reference and I had no clue. Keep enjoying life; it's a refreshing change.
OMG! This is totally new to me and honestly, I could have gone forever not knowing any of this but then I would hate to go to an RV park and find out the hard way, so thank you for letting me know.

First of all, thank you sooooo much for the PSA and for the laughter. I nearly spit out my coffee. Secondly, I had no clue! There needs to be more videos like this to warn the rest of us who live under rocks as well. My loofah is pink and my husband's is teal. Can you imagine?? OMG, that is so interesting! My wife and I are both very naive and like to just keep to our selves for the most part. One of our kids just asked about us being swingers and all I can think of now is did we inadvertently show a symbol. Thanks for the heads up on the loofah, flamingos and pineapples.
I have known quite a few swingers. They are some of the nicest, most accepting people. They might ask but if you kindly let them know you are not interested they just accept it and there is no hard feelings. If you had had the drink and said no they likely would have been ok with it and had another drink with you.

Been in the lifestyle for years and never hear of the loofa thing. I will say lifestyle clubs use colors you listed kinda match the wristbands people are given when they check in.
In the 30+ years my wife and our partners been in the lifestyle, both as singles and as part of a couple/throuple, I/we've used the wristband color matches at lifestyle clubs/parties, that's legitimately how I originally met my wife and then a couple years later how we met our now permanent boyfriend and girlfriend to create our poly Quad, and of course we have used pineapples.
I remember buying a nice shoulder bag with pineapples all over it, i think they are a fun looking fruit. My horror to discover the meaing lmao. I still use it sometimes but mainly im glad to be aware of the meaning incase of being approached. And i am an internet raised young millenial!
Boy, did you ever open my eyes? I've been a truck driver for over 30 years and never, ever been in like this before. I have a lot of lizards sticker that I used to have on my truck but this is new thank you.
It's a crazy thing that people want to swing. Not me. I love my hubby! After 50 years I'll keep my one and only. I hope we see you guys on our 1 million mile road trip.
If I were single, perhaps. But I wouldn't agree to swing either. I respect my woman. But I'm sure that if the question were asked to a very large number of only married men, most would not mind it (anonymously, of course). They would never admit it to anyone. *I'm not speaking for all men, mind you.
At our national RV rally last summer, the golf cart of one of the executives was decorated with loofahs and upside down pineapples dangling from every possible location. He was a great sport and kept them attached for the entire rally. We had plenty of fun with that.
We heard about the upside down pineapple. But that's it. We were modified after learning about it from some fellow travelers. We all had a good laugh, but we haven't experienced that one yet 😅
My wife and I have been swinging for 15+ years. We know about pineapples and flamingos, but this loofah story is a new one. I checked with some friends who have also been swingers for many years and it was news to them also. Maybe it's a regional "signal" that is only understood in certain parts of the country. And yes, we are RVers too, but never practice both at the same time. 😄
Full time RVd for nearly 4 years in Las Vegas many times . . .never seen any Loufa's, Pinapples, or Flamingo's (except The Flamingo casino), must be a Florida thing!
After almost a year of full-time rv life, I've only seen the pineapple symbols and signs once on a group of rv's while I was walking our dog. Luckily, it was just an overnight stay on our way to our next work assignment, so we didn't get a knock. I'll keep my eyes out for scrubbies 😂. Great video
🤔 Guess who is getting a box of loofas for Christmas from their kids... lol I have never heard of this, and like most things, now that it's brought to my attention, I will be seeing loofas everywhere!
By the way the pineapple does not have to be upside down just simply riding around with a pineapple in your basket at the grocery store can mean you're looking for
Thank you for a most informative video. I never owned an RV. After watching and contemplating I have entered the RV market. Obviously, the kitchen, living room, chandelier, will be replaced by a bar, stripper pole and mirror on the ceiling. Is it appropriate to hang several different colors up? Traveling the country till the saving account is empty suddenly sounds enticing. Great video very funny. BTW, unless you like a lot of drama and unnecessary stress keep the scrubby packed away.
This was one of the most entertaining rv videos I've watched. Here I am searching for some maintenance information and here comes the attack of the scrubbies. Guess youtube thought I needed to know this. You know... just incase. I had heard of the pineapples and the flamingos before. But we have never seen them yet. But the scrubbies is an all new thing. Wow...
Sorry, but some countries still consider even a washcloth to be a secret sexual message. I'm serious. In one country, if a woman waves one at you, it means she is a prostitute! Yikes. It's amazing how so many different innocent things have sexual connotations associated with them. LOL...
I've heard about the upside-down pineapples but ; being that my wife and I are new to the RV live, this is a good tip. You better be sure of who you are "inviting" before you attempt a swap meet. Some people may take an offence to even the mere attempt. Sharing is not caring
Great video.🤣 I didn't know about the messaging but will be aware as I head out on my journey. I love Kerri's reactions. Nice, no judgement but straightforward video. Keep having fun and stay safe.
I got a multi pack of those things for Christmas from my uncle who the rest of the family thinks is odd. Should I be worried? They are different colors.
When I moved into an apartment a few years ago there was this woman who lived in the unit below me. She lived alone with her cat and didnt come off as the freaky type. One day I see she had this sign on her door that said "Welcome" in script with a picture of a pineapple underneath it. I knew she had bought it from Aldi because I had seen the signs there in their isle of shame. One day I was coming home as she was leaving. I asked her if she was into the lifestyle. She said what lifestyle? I just said "I saw your pineapple on your door." She looked at me all confused. I said "You got it from Aldi, didnt you?" She said yes, with this confused look on her face. Knowing she probably had no idea what the pineapple meant and not wanting to embarrass her or make her uncomfortable, I said "Yeah, I really like Aldi too!" and walked away. About a week later she took it down and never put it back up. I'm wondering if she finally figured it out. Lmao Theres also a color code for bandanas in the bdsm and gay community. Years ago I worked as a bouncer at a rockabilly\ goth\ metal club. I'm a greaser (pompadour, cuffed jeans, engineer boots and all) and an Outlaws MC supporter. I always had a black and white bandana in my back left pocket. I cant tell you how many chicks I met at the club on goth nights who wanted me to take them home and get rough with them.
I'm 63. I do a lot of camping and outdoors stuff. Had a couple say to me at a campground this summer, "You should enjoy a 'Colorado Campfire'. We were like "What?". Look that one up. I was SHOCKED! That's all I'll say.
way for swingers to identify each other. If you see someone wearing an upside-down pineapple badge or pin, it means that they're actively looking for a partner swap. An upside-down pineapple on someone's front porch can be seen as an invitation to join a swinger party.
Oh my goodness! I’m never going to be able to leave my RV. Now that I know more about these things…if my mouth doesn’t say it, my facial expression definitely will 😂
My wife and I just moved into a 55 and over park and we saw this and how strange it looked. Now I know this and tell my wife , she will freek out and want to move. LOL
When we were here in 2020, there was a Class A with an upside-down pineapple about 2-3 spots away. We had to look into it to know what it meant, too. Yeah, that's gonna be a "no" from us, dawg! LOL
6 years ago we were looking for last minute rv place to overnight near a particular town. Got all excited until a cousin suggested I should internet the site 1st. Surprised to discover that it was a guy only nudist park. Adults only.
Best video ever! Thanks for the education. I was clueless. I wonder how many times in our many years of travels I've said "Oh, I love your purple loofah! It's my favorite color!!!" 😮 😳 😂
Hahah you made my day just now, I van camp often all around South Florida and this is now new to me, I have never paid attention to other people. I have seen some strange stuff in the camp grounds, but as I van camp my van is very discreet most people assume it's a regular van I keep it very Low Key also. I was in a Poly relationship for 10 years happily married and we had girlfriend. But we never advertise keep posting hopefully I never get a knock like that. But most people stay away from my site as I have 100lbs black German shepherd that travels with me.
1st the rainbow gets highjacked, then the pineapple and Flamingo and now the loofa. I hope the bald head and goatee remain anonymous or I'm in for a new challenge.
I think whole thing started in the Villages. I lived there for two years and didn't really notice any of this, but then again I wasn't looking. My mother and sister both live there so I will look the next time I visit since I am sure it was there, I just wasn't paying attention. I am a lot like you in that I just trust people and think the best until I am given reason not to. I think that may not be the safest way to go through life Oo:
It is funny - some people swear that it is all over the villages and others swear it is all made up. We have only been through the villages once in the shopping area and did see some BUT hard to know if it meant what everyone said they do.
LMAO !!! --- I never heard of any of this before LOL .... - I'll have to think of some goofy stuff to hang off my vehicle that means nothing but will make people wonder 😄 .... I'm glad I keep to myself with my dogs most of the time living up here in the Sticks ... if I ever make my way down south I will have absolutely no clue what all of these secret little things mean, but I think it's hilarious.
This family recently bought a house in our neighborhood that came with two sets of flamingos in the front yard. Now that you mentioned it, I wonder if the new homeowners have any idea what messages they are sending out.

Id heard of the scrubbies. But listening to you guys made me spit my coffee.
Oh no! I’m sorry lol!
I have a lot of lizards sticker that I used to have on my truck but this is new thank you.
lol, we just clued into what lot lizards are also 🤣🤣 way to much info that I can’t get rid of fast enough
So does the sticker mean you're hunting?
It's a crazy thing that people want to swing. Not me. I love my hubby! After 50 years I'll keep my one and only. I hope we see you guys on our 1 million mile road trip.
Not for us either lol. 30 years with each other, no interest in starting over :)
No man can compare to mine either 🙂
If I were single, perhaps. But I wouldn't agree to swing either. I respect my woman. But I'm sure that if the question were asked to a very large number of only married men, most would not mind it (anonymously, of course). They would never admit it to anyone. *I'm not speaking for all men, mind you.
QOS- Queen of Spades tattoo(♠) or symbol also popular. There are a lot of campgrounds in TX that are "lifestyle friendly".
??? Meaning
Borderline TMI. But then again this last Christmas I almost bought a bath gift set that included a loofah for a white elephant office party.
At our national RV rally last summer, the golf cart of one of the executives was decorated with loofahs and upside down pineapples dangling from every possible location. He was a great sport and kept them attached for the entire rally. We had plenty of fun with that.
That is too funny
We heard about the upside down pineapple. But that's it. We were modified after learning about it from some fellow travelers. We all had a good laugh, but we haven't experienced that one yet 😅
OMG! Trailer campgrounds have sure gotten weirder since the days of my youth.
Black wedding band is also a sign like Pineapples. Maybe your friend saw yours.
It got started in "The Villages" retirement community down south of Ocala Florida. It is HUGE down there.
Live and let live.
Great video
lol thank you!
Watching this now. The guy in the next site across from us has a 4 foot tall flamingo with 6 different color luffa necklace.
Lol…you enjoy that! 😂
🤔 Guess who is getting a box of loofas for Christmas from their kids... lol I have never heard of this, and like most things, now that it's brought to my attention, I will be seeing loofas everywhere!
That would be something our son would do 🙄lol
First time I've heard of this. Crazy fun stuff!! My wife and I are open minded, but this pushes the limit.
I have never noticed hanging Loufas before. Now I'm scared. I busted out laughing imagining this at the Villages.
The villages are a whole other world!
Guy has a great voice for host type work. Guy could make a good living doing lots of voice work.
By the way the pineapple does not have to be upside down just simply riding around with a pineapple in your basket at the grocery store can mean you're looking for
Oh no! We used to buy a lot of pineapples- may have to rethink that 🤣🤣
I can’t wait to get my camper, I’m putting everything out
Thank you for a most informative video.
Well said!
Wow...
No wonder I was never asked...my camping days were always just me and the motorcycle! Apparently being solo, I had nothing to bring to the table.
I don’t think the “table” is what they are inviting people to bring themselves to 😂
not true single men are in the lifestyle too
i did not know, but thank you for giving this info out
This was all news to me to!! I'm solidly a washcloth woman apparently😂 Love you guys, appreciate the hard conversation someone had to address it.
Lmao it is a crazy world we are in for sure 🤣🤣
Sorry, but some countries still consider even a washcloth to be a secret sexual message. I'm serious. In one country, if a woman waves one at you, it means she is a prostitute! Yikes. It's amazing how so many different innocent things have sexual connotations associated with them. LOL...
Washcloth woman!!! That’s funny 😂 😂😂
LOL what color washcloth?????😳😵💫@@happytravelRV
'And she was washing daddy's face with it'. -Punch line from the washcloth joke.
In the upper midwest pink flamingos in yards was a polish thing.
You guys should try it. It’s fun! Keeps things interesting
Nah we will pass 🤣🤣
@@liferedesigned 😂it’s definitely not for everyone. And 100% not for the jealous
So right, it the best thing we have ever done.
I find it less offensive than the LGBTQ-WTF stuff. Live and let live.
2 out of the 3 married couples my husband and i know. All 3 went to the swingers side. Only 1 of the married couples have servived.
I worked at a campground in NH last spring, summer and fall. Saw flamingoes but never thought anything about it!
Now you will have VERY open eyes!
@@liferedesigned I have had met some strange-acting people while camping. Now I'm wondering what they were really up to.
So what does a flamingo mean. I’ve yet to see someone answer this question
I've heard about the upside-down pineapples but ; being that my wife and I are new to the RV live, this is a good tip. You better be sure of who you are "inviting" before you attempt a swap meet. Some people may take an offence to even the mere attempt. Sharing is not caring
Great video.🤣
I didn't know about the messaging but will be aware as I head out on my journey. I love Kerri's reactions.
Nice, no judgement but straightforward video. Keep having fun and stay safe.
Thank you Michael! Lol😀
I needed to know this! Thank you! We are new camp hosts in a Florida state park for 4 mos. this summer!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂 I really do learn something new every day 😅 thanks you two!!!
Anytime! We can’t keep all this knowledge to ourselves 🤣🤣
This is so crazy. I had no clue. 😮 Lynn and Danny
lol, neither did we!
I got a multi pack of those things for Christmas from my uncle who the rest of the family thinks is odd. Should I be worried? They are different colors.
🤣🤣🤣
There are some necklaces with meaning! In florida they get everything!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lmao
Theres also a color code for bandanas in the bdsm and gay community.
You two would laugh at the movie "Eating Rauol" 👊🤣👍
I'm 63. I do a lot of camping and outdoors stuff. Had a couple say to me at a campground this summer, "You should enjoy a 'Colorado Campfire'. We were like "What?". Look that one up. I was SHOCKED! That's all I'll say.
Oh now we are scared 🤣🤣🤣
Omg, no thanks
It didn’t say how to remove it? You know what, never mind.
Yikes! Not for me, for all kinds of reasons.
Just looked it up. Almost fell of the toilet 😂 needless to say, I’m on my way to the dollar store for marshmallows 😅
Full swap is what it says. Exchange both partners. U also can have separate room full swap.
…
way for swingers to identify each other. If you see someone wearing an upside-down pineapple badge or pin, it means that they're actively looking for a partner swap. An upside-down pineapple on someone's front porch can be seen as an invitation to join a swinger party.
Oh my goodness! I’m never going to be able to leave my RV. Now that I know more about these things…if my mouth doesn’t say it, my facial expression definitely will 😂
Thanks for the education. I will run the other way when I see them.
🏃 lol
My wife and I just moved into a 55 and over park and we saw this and how strange it looked. Now I know this and tell my wife , she will freek out and want to move. LOL
🤣🤣 oh no! Hope we didn’t ruin a nice place for you!
I'm glad you Googled all this Swinging Info...So I don't have to explain the ads that I'm sure would start showing up on my FB feed.
We are like scrubbing bubbles.. we work hard so you don’t have toooooo 🤣🤣
😂
How was drinks?
NOPE…
i live near the villages in central Florida. luffas are common on the carts, they even have pins now they wear on their clothing
When we were here in 2020, there was a Class A with an upside-down pineapple about 2-3 spots away. We had to look into it to know what it meant, too. Yeah, that's gonna be a "no" from us, dawg! LOL
Sometimes it is WAY better to be in the dark about things like this!
@@liferedesigned Agreed! 🤣
6 years ago we were looking for last minute rv place to overnight near a particular town. Got all excited until a cousin suggested I should internet the site 1st. Surprised to discover that it was a guy only nudist park. Adults only.
😂 we have heard of a couple of these places existing.
Best video ever! Thanks for the education. I was clueless. I wonder how many times in our many years of travels I've said "Oh, I love your purple loofah! It's my favorite color!!!" 😮 😳 😂
Oh no! Lol.. that’s too funny!
What do you expect when your RV is named "Hump free"? 😅
🤣🤣
I swear the Jeep Community's Ducks have their color codes too...
oh no! lol
1st the rainbow gets highjacked, then the pineapple and Flamingo and now the loofa. I hope the bald head and goatee remain anonymous or I'm in for a new challenge.
🤣🤣
I think whole thing started in the Villages. I lived there for two years and didn't really notice any of this, but then again I wasn't looking. My mother and sister both live there so I will look the next time I visit since I am sure it was there, I just wasn't paying attention. I am a lot like you in that I just trust people and think the best until I am given reason not to. I think that may not be the safest way to go through life Oo:
It is funny - some people swear that it is all over the villages and others swear it is all made up. We have only been through the villages once in the shopping area and did see some BUT hard to know if it meant what everyone said they do.
i'm seriously rethinking the rv life.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
All I can say is WOW! I had no idea.
You are welcome 🤣🤣🤣
I love spicy Sunday content 😂🎉 also new fear unlocked. D: I hope I don’t see scrubbies
lol…tell me about it..every time I see something out of the ordinary, I’m going to think it’s a “thing” 🤷♀️
Same here - going to start hanging random stuff out to keep people guessing lol
@@liferedesigned 😁😁😁👍👍
I don’t even know what a scrubbie or loofah are… I have wash clothes!
Pineapples and flamingos are a mystery as well
We had Furries show up at a campground .... never new people dressed up as animals and live there life ... crazy!
Oh wow! Another thing to watch out for..Never heard of furries…
@@liferedesigned Interesting...I've heard of furries, but had no idea the colored scrubby thing existed.
Well I’m so clueless I guess I need to get educated on furries & pineapples as well . . .😂
🤣🤣 this is why we all need each other!
Be careful when on Google 🤣🤣
This family recently bought a house in our neighborhood that came with two sets of flamingos in the front yard. Now that you mentioned it, I wonder if the new homeowners have any idea what messages they are sending out.
Oh no! 😂 you should go introduce yourself and ask if they have seen the swinger video….😀
@@liferedesigned - Let me think about that one. 🦩
