It amazes me that these things break down so often!!! I was and I mean was interested in purchasing one but following your journey between this coach and your previous it appears they are simply nightmares.
i like the way you guys filming, simple, explain everything and enjoyable. Keep up and don't forget to have one of your doors signed by bob tiffin, he is a realy nice guy. i forget mine, i will do it next time.
Good grief,,, it sounds like a container barge in a hurricane inside a plastic go cart !!! $250,000 of extruded plastic with a diesel motor trying to shake it apart doesn’t sound like a vacation to me.. pissed off camp ground patrons , dumpsters full of maggots waiting for the wind to blow in the right direction and freeway traffic waking you up in the mornings and then your making regular trips to the repair shop to get every little part that rattled loose fixed,,,, give me a break!!! I am certain I can find a better way to relax and not burn $6.00 every 6 miles while I’m doing it !!!!
I love looking at all the different RV models online. What you don't appreciate from pictures is how noisey they are when they're running down the road. All those rattles and bangs would drive me crazy.
Hey Mike and Angie…Kobear here, finally managed to get my true name on here. Missed y’all! Good to see ya again. Hate to hear you having more problems with your rig. I look forward to seeing more of y’all here on you tube.
Watched a number of your videos. You have dealt with your share of challenges. As for drawers/doors/stuff falling all I can suggest is do a thorough check before rolling. Our rig is nowhere as large as yours, in fact it’s only a 18’ tear drop but the principle is the same. My wife goes through and checks each and every drawer/door to confirm they are firmly shut. Does that mean something won’t or can’t pop open; nope. I-10 through LA proved that but not checking can lead to an expensive repair. The last thing we do is what we refer to as a brake check - confirm lights, signals/brakes lights are working. Pull forward 5-10 ft and then do another walk around, check the power pole etc. to confirm we’re not leaving something behind. Many times we’ve flagged down fellow RVers as they have left a park with their vent open, or an access door open or something. We do get giggles from folks watching us, but since we’re small, single axle, two tires, we have little to no room for any errors once we get on the road. Last, lots of noise in your rig so have to ask, is it the rig itself or road or what you have inside? Would drive me crazy. Safe travels
The rattles in your coach would drive me crazy. As much as you guys travel a Prevost Emerald would be the way to go. Big dollars for sure but we'll worth it!
I own a 2002 National Dolphin LX and I don't have any problems like these newer luxury rigs. 40k miles on her and solid as a rock. Everything working and running like new. They don't build 'em like this any more.
Fantastic! Enjoying my first look at Tiffin service. Wow! Nuff said. Very nice indeed. The surprise? That air leak! Ouch. Hey, extreme leaks are cake. Spent many hours chasing wee leaks under the coach, seeming like miles of air lines, and tiny leaks among the assortment of Norgen valves. Dealt with the on road suspension and leveling valves, this is different. Footnote! Nice to see your dog! I like the extreme, I guess, I have a Saint Bernard, hehe.
Been watching several of your vids and it seems like the problems are never ending even with a different coach…seems too the DEF systems are a pain in the butt too !😳
it would help everyone if you "mic" up and use a microphone on each person for the videos. You have good content but the sound is not so good. Keep up the videos
Thanks for all the info on how unreliable these rvs are. I was planning on purchasing one,but I am not going to spend my retirement going from one rv repair center to the next. I thought my boat was bad. Good luck on journeys
4 and half minutes in and it just sounds like you are tearing up your RV just driving down the road. LOL I am sure it's fine, but the camera is picking up all kinds of weird violent sounds.
I can not believe how much noise the slides are making while driving down the road. None of my motorhomes ever made that much noise. that would drive me crazy!!! You will always have problems with motorhomes, just part of the journey. I would always do most of the the repairs myself, that way they are done correctly.
The buyers if the RV aren't saving spending plenty you have to not be worried about money or out of your mind to own one I'm sure I don't and wouldn't even if I could afford it 😂
@@williammize8270 After watching a few of these videos. The insane price to buy one of these and they are built with the cheapest Chinese junk. The constant repairs and maintenance. I could buy a really nice car and stay in a hotels it would be far cheaper. I sure would like to see the cost of all the expenses to own one for let’s say three years.
Wow in the video that thing sounds louder than my work truck with a 5 gal metal bucket sliding around in the bed . I thought tiffin was known for a quit ride
I hate to say it, but seeing Angie not wearing her seatbelt, reminds me of a friend of mine that would never wear her seatbelt. Needless to say she ended up going through the windshield and now six feet under. I hate to see that happen to a pretty lady like Angie.
I just need to warn you of the fact regardless of what happened before, with just a lap belt you cannot restrain your upper body in the event of a crash. A pretty face takes a beating and may not look as it once did. Perhaps consider a racing style restraint that holds equally on both sides of the body. My son made quite the impression on a metal dash with his face while only wearing what was available. The other bent the steering wheel like a pretzel bracing himself and still had injuries. Do as you must but remember what I mentioned here. Physics does not change.
We had an Open Road and we were happy with Tiffin until they stopped doing extended warranty work and you had to agree to pay for repairs and deal with getting trying to get your money back on your own. 😂
I just stumbled onto this site and watched a few videos. What is this? Is it all about the trials and tribulation of motorhome ownership? Of the videos of watched that is all it is. Do they ever get to enjoy motorhome travel? If so, I don't know when. All they talk about is repairs.
It kind of sounds like there's a large fish flopping around in the RV knocking over everything that it's tail smashes into LOL. Just My imagination I'm sure
Are you aware those two fans above the driver and passenger are there to blow on the windshield to get the fog off the inside of the glass? Best wishes, Kevin
@@irritatedtraveler7885 Thank you for your service from one brother to another from another mother. 20+ years here as a flying aircraft mechanic. Would do it again in a heartbeat
I would have to agree with the earlier comment on the mic. You spend so much time on making all these videos and some of them are just hard to watch because of the noise in the background. It would cost you pennies on the dollar for a Bluetooth mic and would bring your videos and possibly more subs to your channel.
Curious if you guys run the roof air conditioners while driving? There is some anecdotal evidence that this hastens failure of the squirrel cage plastic fan. I was at Tiffin last year and the work they did was great but since we had an older coach they ran out of time to do all the repairs since we are limited to 3 hours (two techs). I keep a book of repairs while we travel, seems like I usually end up with a couple of pages of stuff that requires repair by the time we get home plus the normal chassis and house maintenance items.
I would not be ASSUMING a damn thing! I’d be asking and going over each thing b4 pulling out again! What about DEF? Never trust anyone to do the job correct nor do it the first time
I worked in the RV industry for ten years (custom bus conversions) First building them then repairing them… They are all junk.. but some manufacturers are just awful to deal with.
You guys should write a brochure on the trials and tribulations of your RV life. Be a must read for nubez and potential owners. It's crazy the nonsense you and others have to deal with on these high end rigs.
All those banging and clanging noises would drive me crazy, it sounds as if the whole thing is breaking apart as you drive it. And the fact that they put a plastic fan on the air unit is ridiculous, for all the money you spend on those things you would at least expect a metal fan on it.
For all the money you spend on that thing there's no way in hell you should be here and all that type of rattling I understand a little bit but that thing's coming apart
Really don’t like these big diesel class A , Seems like people have a lot of problems all the time. Would rather have a Travato twin bed with lithium Volta system . 21 Feet long and you don’t have to deal with the generator you could leave the air-conditioning running off the batteries for eight hours and it charges while you drive and if something breaks down you could even call AAA and you don’t need to tow a car

The shoulder belt doesn't work at all in a side or rear collision as we have discovered. It actually does way more damage than just wearing a lap belt.
As a first responder and having attended first hand multiple injury and fatal related collisions I'd argue that theory. But hey, the real lose will be suffered by you. Believe what you will.
