This was a bad funk band that was underrated. I got to see them in concert twice in the 80's and they put on an amazing show both times. Thanks for the memories from back in the day. Good music never gets old!!

One of the funkiest tunes in funk history! Mass Production made a lot of fab tunes in the 70’s but this was the funkiest! Love them, no wonder 2 Live Crew sampled it!!
After all these years, approximately 40..finally, a video of Mass Production. This is probably the only video in existence of them performing. Amazing!!:) THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING!!

Heard this song plenty and 2livecrew even sampled part of it, if I'm not mistaken, but never seen the video, loved it! Awesome song! Definition of funk!

So many great bands back then they bring back so many great memories. mass production, brass construction, slave, confunktion, all of those bands gave us so much joy happiness and fun and in some little way seemed to Make the stress of everyday life a little bit easier
At MAGIC MOUNTAIN, TASTE OF HONEY PERFORMED TWO of their hits live, - it was cool. But on the break, this record played for the audience, and it got all the way LIVE up in that stadium. I was 10 (1980), I was doing the dog, the butterfly, and the rock. Just like they’re doing in this video. My God, I was fly, even as a CHILD.
They were also doing an earlier version of “the wiggle” -the girl was. By 1982, that was an established dance in NY, and LA DISCOS. And yes, I was there. I need me a phd in American r &b with an emphasis on funk, and how it affected every aspect of society. I’m not talking no honorary mess. I’ll write the thesis as my research is done. What will the focus be, what will I answer, what will I posit in that mofo in thesis? Let me think about that. It’s all so exciting.

Such a shame this video and so many others like it never got air time on mtv. A Real Shame.
Who would've thought only 10 years later..this song would be sampled on one of the most controversial albums of all time "As Nasty As They Wanna Be" by 2 Live Crew on the track "Me So Horny"
