You can’t even call it $6.60 because of gas and wear and tear on your vehicle. These trips should be illegal.

Exactly. The message it sends is that you (the driver) are even lower on the social and economic food chain than a begger on the street. I mean seriously! I could make $2.50 within 15 minutes just sitting on my butt in front of a Panera. But you’re expecting us who are taxpayers with rents we pay, cars to upkeep and fill with gas, food to buy, medical bills to pay, etc. Were so low down that we should not only take that pitiful offer but be happy about it!

Not gonna lie, your videos have really opened my eyes and I don’t take these horrible rides. I remember I used to take them once in a while to make my Sunday night promotions anymore
I mentioned it before my last decline was 2.50 for a 26-item for a 46-minute trip. That is the day I had the option removed from my app. I can't even sell all my Uber Eats bags no one wants to work for that crap
I'll accept. But for the Fuck of it, I will be canceling on it.
I do not accept these crappy orders and I just started Uber eats.

Well, it doesn’t matter how much it’s paying in California because of prop 22…it’ll pay 23 dollars per active hour plus 34 cents/
mile. That’s not too bad! BUT I don’t accept those rides just because of the algorithms that I hope will change over a little time. And the gaps between Uber Eats rides are immense here, so it sucks all around. I got an UE ride for TWO DOLLARS last night! Unbelievable!
Got a $2.50 offer on Doors Dash today for 1.5 miles. I dont care if its two blocks away. Thats a friggin insult to offer to a grown ass man or woman. Especially in this economy.
You know it’s gonna cost more in gas alone to take this call. Any driver that takes this is the reason we are getting crap pay.
Immigrants take these orders. $2-$3 to them is like $15-$20 in their counties of origin. They take these orders, make $30-$60 per day, send back some money to their families in their home countries, and then go home to their 10-15 other immigrant family members in their 2-3 bedroom apartments. Visit Brooklyn, visit queens, visit LA, visit Miami, visit phoenix, visit Dallas, etc. you’ll see what I’m talking about. Scooters with no license plates, tens of thousands of them everywhere. Illegally parking on sidewalks, not even using their own accounts because they either can’t get one due to a lack of a SSN, or they’ve already been banned. Many of them don’t even have licenses. They also multi-app, too, so if you order from a restaurant and expect to receive your order at 12, expect it to arrive at 1:30/2, and expect it to arrive cold. Desperate idiots also take these orders. They’re both indistinguishable from one another.
A lot of drivers aren't worth a dollar. That's why we, real hard working Americans, get stepped on.
That's actually a generous offer for uber
These offers shouldn’t even exist. There should be a $20-30 minimum food order plus fees and tip. That this delivery offer even comes to this driver means there’s no one closer willing to take it.
We also have orders from Walgreens now in our area I will look into sending a screenshot for everyone to say wtf at.... multiple stops for under $10
All food delivery should just STOP delivering
It's on purpose. Investigate and find internal DD & UE memo/s, dumbly titled "How to Use Undocumented to Lower Pay for All..." or something like that.

Shouldn't have to rely on tips from the customer. And a lot of reasons the customer doesn't tip is because they've already paid a bunch of increased prices and service fees. I talked to a restaurant owner who at first did not want to get any delivery service but then he ended up getting it because it helped his business. But he said he didn't want to get it because they increase the price of everything 30 to 35%. So if the customer's paying an extra 30 to 35% in the first place plus they got to pay a delivery fee that's why they ain't got no money left to tip you. Or they're just cheap bastards

Hello 👋 how are you , I just got deactivated from Uber rides because a police officer stop me last year .. is crazy how Uber is so strict on people who are good drivers.. a year has 365 days .. and we have to be perfect? Every single day? .. now am doing Uber eats alone in Indianapolis and am doing o my 10 a hour

It’s sad you have to put in so many hours a day because you’re declining so many rides that don’t make sense UberX shared ride, multiple stop, rides that pay 3$, rides with long pick up for a short ride to get pay 3$ just don’t make sense.

I guarantee you there's no tip involved in that it's a base pay. And even that is horrible. But that's what they do on these gig jobs. Same thing with doordash their base pay is somewhere between 2 and 5.00 and it always fluctuates. Sometimes they give you more base pay from certain restaurants if there's no tip. I picked up from pizza places and I get $5 base pay no tip. Then I pick up from the same pizza place and it's $5 with a $3 tip . So they're just worried about making sure you get $5
I had a bitch take my tip off after their order was delivered perfectly and as fast as possible and I actually waited at hungry Howie's for them to finish it up. Imagine you complete it and a dollar of that was a tip they took away. It wasn't a huge tip, it was 4.50 but the order was 9 with it , for 17 mins 5 miles. When you take 4.49 for that it will make you seek out that customer and let them know what's up

You can even imagine how much people do very cheap delivery, I meet them in Taco Bell while I was getting food for me, I asked them I saw the prices , I was trying to explain them do not do that bcz is so cheap, mostly of them didn’t speak English…:

This is Austin TX. I tried delivering for UberEats but it is not worth it. I only do it when I have car issues (like no AC)or have my child.
