Good luck to you, as you said you're up against people who don't have the right to work in the UK using the right to substitution. This is really something the delivery companies have added to avoid IR35. So it's on the so-called legit rider to determine if their substitute is legal.
Of course they aren't and it's now opened up, as you mentioned another black economy where people rent out their accounts but with the HMRC changes, they'll be responsible for the tax that the illegals generate. It'll take years and maybe 0.0001% will be investigated, perhaps worth the risk?
However, Uber Eats and Deliveroo, need riders and they make it stupidly easy to get a completely fake account that is fully validated. Without illegal workers these companies do not have a viable business.
I find it incredible that so many riders are striking in London when so many do not contribute to the economy and are not tax paying citizens or even have the right to work.
My partner worked on the inside of the world's largest food delivery company, I'm not a UA-camr, but I would really like to do an exposé of how these companies use illegal workers to make money. UA-cam title

You seem to understand that they ask you to accept the order because of the thefts, and the multiapping, but you get annoyed when they ask you to do it, because "you're not a thief". You do realize they don't know you, right? Just make an habit of doing it, and you won't have to say "I'm not gonna steal the food" to them.

Yeah that’s why on most of the delivery’s that day I accept the order first because it’s a habit but Nando’s made me wait 10 mins in an horrible alleyway in the cold that smells like piss and then ask me to accept it before giving it to me when I’ve been pretty polite to them. He should be able to see that I’m trustworthy from my demeanour. The truth is that I can deliver for them everyday for a year and they’d still ask me to accept the order lol…
Ur absolutely right I have noticed a big difference since the rule of paying tax has been implemented and rental of app to non uk residents more work is available now which is better for the ones who are going by the rules great to see u back

Thanks mate! I'll still be making travel videos in Europe/UK so won't be doing this full-time on this channel more like a side hustle which is what it should be for most people. Life is better abroad in my opinion...the UK seems to be on the decline - although home is always home. I fancy myself a bit of a global citizen so that's probably what to expect from me haha
@@GigHustle Yeah man I don't blame you, it basically is a side hustle and should be seen that way, not full or part time employment because you cant really make a stable income or living with it. Yeah true the UK is really declining badly and things need to change, income, housing the lot needs to be reformed in order to make the UK stable again. I used to be a Deliveroo and Uber Eats rider about 8 years ago but missed doing it, so I am back on the road and I've decided to do it with my camera. Wish me good luck Smith the channel! Yeah, totally, I've been riding for deliveroo for over 5 years now, back when i started, you had to book your shifts every Monday morning for the week ahead,and stay on line until your shift was completed, it was harder then as i was out in all weathers, however i did make a wage as there was far less competition, as for now, its free log in and a saturated market. It was doable to bring home a wage back then even whilst riding a push bike, but all change now, as you say, do it for fitness and fresh air now, you never know it might improve over time and get back to where it used to be, hears hoping. 👍

From the sunny skies of Vietnam and Singapore, with smiling, non censored faces, back to rainy, miserable, censored faces back on UK.. Asia is another world, so nice, friendly people, cheap to eat, amazing scenery... Just wish I could afford to move there!!

I censor the customers faces because of the delivery apps as they may not like it because of their own privacy policies but also if I'm visiting customers homes I would like to be discrete. People in the west are definitely more weird and awkward about people filming in public but it won't stop me! I'll still be doing both channels mate - thanks for the support :)

Ubers really busy in Notts recently and deffs way fewer riders, none hanging out on long street earlier and theres normally loads regardless of the time of year. Making £15 an hour last few weeks
Where is best to deliver in Nottingham. And also do you use bike or car.
Yea, deliveries have certainly dropped off this year, and I’m glad its just pocket money for me because it would be hard to make a living. However, I just do dinner time deliveries, i would assume evening deliveries are more busy.
Love your videos mate - what happens if your bag is nog big enough for the order. Do you still have to deliver to the customer?

How do you get on with punctures on the deliveries, are you still rubbing tubes or have you gone tubeless with sealent?
Yah about minimum pay or bellow (it is 11.42 soon) accounting the possible tax, bike Maintenace and no holidays. But job can be pretty nice to get out of the house for quick cardio if you have full time job during week which I might consider doing soon (and to use my 1k tax free allowance), as want to earn bit extra to pay off debt... but I moved out of the bigger city which will hurt my earnings without Stuart here that paid almost double and main orders that were coming in hot were the Tesco ones.
Here in Finland Wolt delivery with bike is still ok i dont know much about doing it with a car or scooter probably quite slim earnings. But with bike lowest is around 4,60 euros per delivery and highest goes over 5. I usually really just do short deliveries around 1km or under.
This isnt my main job so no stress its like a hobby that pays.

Welcome back. What's the time limit you will wait for an order please? How many times have you cancelled orders due to the estimated wait being unacceptable?
I'm alright with waiting 5 mins but I get annoyed when it gets to 10 minutes....however by that point there is no point cancelling because then you have to wait for another order and then head to that restaurant and you may end up waiting there. If restaurants keep me waiting 10+ mins then I'll black mark them in my head.
How much can you make working in a town, I live in Newquay Cornwall and especially in the summer months it gets busy but I hope it’s busy enough to be earn a substantial amount, what are your thoughts?

I probably shouldn’t have left my bike unlocked outside of Doughnotts. I’ve been away for quite a while and probably took risks I wouldn’t usually take 😅
I don’t think the money is good but it’s better than nothing if your alternative is sitting at home doing nothing. You can get some fresh air and exercise on a bike which is added value.
However I think there are better jobs out there if you are looking at maximising your money for the time you work!
In Liverpool fri- sun I tend to earn about 15 - 20 an hour during peak times, but its been hard to stay motivated with the weather so I've opted for a part time job. I wouldn't know much about mid week earnings, but yeah it's definitely gone down hill. I can't see me delivering again anytime soon.
I'll be just filming videos and doing this for some extra money, exercise and fresh air - also just providing more content for people that like it 👍

Hi Jay, what backpack would you choose out of the ubereats or spartan with pizza pocket? I like the stealth look of the latter and I know you have a code, but I am just wondering which one might be best as I know the uber has the option of expanding out quite big.
Hi Jack! I am sponsored by SpartanPac but I would still go for the SpartanPac with the pizza pocket because it’s not only stealthy but it’s more compact so it’s not bulky on your back and I rarely ever reject any orders because they are too big. I think I’ve rejected like 1-2 shopping orders that were like 4/5 bags but they shouldn’t be taken on a bike anyways haha. I used the Stuart backpack for my first 2 years and it was massive and I always thought I can carry any order but switching to SpartanPac is just so much more efficient because it sits really nicely on my back. The Uber Eats one is good quality too and it’s a very similar size to the SpartanPac one - in fact I think they are the same design. I prefer the stealthy black look…I don’t want to be a walking advertisement and you’ll barely have to expand the bag out so it’s not really necessary. Hope this helps - I highly recommend getting the small bag to go inside for separating orders and keep drinks stable 👍

People renting accounts and using multiple phones and killing it for the legit people
We have the tax problem in the Netherlands for Uber Eats. My estimation is %30 of the accounds here don't pay tax at all . Bcs the tax settings is based on declaration and there is no checking, it accepts immediately . They just put a random number. Bcs you don't have a tax number youre not in the system so there is no checking from the tax authorities since 5 years or so. This couses renting accounds to persons who cannot open their own accound or don't have a work permit. In some cities there are too many couriers so the income has decreased . Uber has removed so many promotions since last 1-2 years the main reason is too many couriers on the field. But I belive soon there is gonna be an investigation and a lot of couriers are gonna get huge fines for tax fraud.

I'm wondering, can't your bike handle a rear rack where you can put your bag? It might be less stress on your back if you have one of those rear racks.
I’m not a big fan of the rear rack because it’s a bit of a faff and I think the orders are more stable on my back than on the back of my bike. To be honest I might just decline shopping orders because they are the only ones that are heavy. Only issue is if it’s not busy then I might have no choice 😳

В основном заказывают продукты а готовую еду редко и есть компании у которых своя доставка продуктов ( самокат, яндекс лавка, вкусвилл, х5, магнит и тд..) готовую Еду заказывают редко и только либо яндекс еда либо сбермаркет.
minako v8 или Minako Monster или Wenbo Monster. Эти модели самые популярные но и также ездят на других электровелосипед колхозник. В основном все только ездят 2 батарейки потому что одной не хватает на целый день так как все работают минимум 12 часов каждый день. Используют батарейки 60v20ah (самые популярные батарейки) и также другие. У нас практически никто не ездят на такого типа электровелосипед как у вас где надо крутить пидали либо простой велосипед обычный либо электровелосипед колхозник!
I Just started doing deliveries it’s a piece of piss if your fit I can do 3-4 an hour it can be slow some times .
I’ve noticed in the evenings lots of foreigners doing it with bikes that are dog 💩 they must be doing one order an hour with the state of there bikes a lot of them are sat around to I accept every order so maybe that’s why . I don’t care about the mileage I know the shortcuts and strong ICELAND seems to be the best can be heavy but pays £7 and can be done in 15 mins
