Bolin has always had a problem with authority figures. no parents, quickly gets into a relationship with a controlling ice princess, trusts varrick right away, and now Kuvira

What I always love is that Kuvira is the straight consequence of Zaheer’s actions. Man was dreaming about leaderless world but all his actions led to a dictator’s rising. That is what happens when you are so radicalised that you don’t see a balance

The heads of each province still ultimately answered to the Earth Monarch. Bumi mentioned back in Book 3 that the Earth Queen can legally conscript any Earth Kingdom citizen into her army.

Sometimes keeping your freedom is more important than anything else. The people of the village would've had food and been able to survive had the airbenders not gotten robbed.

Ghazan was a great bender, but I'm not sure how good of a bender he was before he had access to lava. Bolin was already an excellent earth bender

We’ve had earth bending villains in the past. Sand benders, Long Feng, The Dai Li, General Fong, Chin the conquerer, Hou Ting the Earth Queen, & Ghazan the lava bender. Kuvira isn’t our first earth bending villain. But she might be our first metal bending villain.
Lowkey feels like we need a Season 5 for Korra. We need her to regain her connection to the past avatars and reach her prime once and for all. She’s been defeated in the smaller battles a lot because she was sheltered and unexperienced plus her villains are way deadlier than Aangs. We also need to have a relationship between Korra and Asami. Overall, the story doesn’t feel complete. I also think Season 2 needs to be redone but that’s not likely to happen
I could be wrong, but i think Korra cutting her hair isnt just her trying to hide her identity, but also is an extreme example of how depressed she is. Usually Water tribe citizens (especially the women) have such long and extensive hair that they (i assume) they take care and pride in. So Korra cutting her hair is like her discarding another part of her identity because of her mental state.
Another symptom of depression is the disregard for appearance and self-care, so yeah, it lines up with Korra cutting her hair since she wouldn't take time to style it like she used to.
I felt so and for Korra. She did awesome against Zaheer. Your whole purpose as the avatar is to help people but it seems your friend don't need it then it probably make you feel some type of way. Also, they shouldnt be able to force Mako to be the head guard for Earth kingdom

We’ve had earth bending villains in the past. Sand benders, Long Feng, The Dai Li, General Fong, Chin the conquerer, Hou Ting the Earth Queen, & Ghazan the lava bender.
Kuvira isn’t our first earth bending villain. But she might be our first metal bending villain.

Lowkey feels like we need a Season 5 for Korra. We need her to regain her connection to the past avatars and reach her prime once and for all. She’s been defeated in the smaller battles a lot because she was sheltered and unexperienced plus her villains are way deadlier than Aangs. We also need to have a relationship between Korra and Asami. Overall, the story doesn’t feel complete. I also think Season 2 needs to be redone but that’s not likely to happen
She croaks though, next avatar show will be a new avatar with another time skip.

I could be wrong, but i think Korra cutting her hair isnt just her trying to hide her identity, but also is an extreme example of how depressed she is. Usually Water tribe citizens (especially the women) have such long and extensive hair that they (i assume) they take care and pride in. So Korra cutting her hair is like her discarding another part of her identity because of her mental state.
Another symptom of depression is the disregard for appearance and self-care, so yeah, it lines up with Korra cutting her hair since she wouldn't take time to style it like she used to.

I felt so and for Korra. She did awesome against Zaheer. Your whole purpose as the avatar is to help people but it seems your friend don't need it then it probably make you feel some type of way. Also, they shouldnt be able to force Mako to be the head guard for Earth kingdom
