The “where’s Aang” part cracked me up. If anybody can bob and weave better than Kuvira its Aang. One thing Kuvira also did that Aang learned but Korra clearly didn’t is to wait before striking at the right moment. That’s what Kuvira basically said “I’m gonna call you origami ‘cause you’re about to get folded”
The Neutral Jing is what you're referring to and that is true. Funny even on his bad days he still makes his enemies look like a joke by avoiding and evading
We saw that Korra learned the basics behind airbending technique in Book 1, didn't we? At the pro-bending match, she utilized airbending form to avoid attacks and caused her opponents to expend their own energy and stamina. Arguably, Korra would've done so here if she was in a clearer state of mind, but it's obvious that she's still suffering from PTSD.
Maaaaaan, its tough being a korra fan. This episode showed the effects of PTSD masterfully but its hard to relay that in a fast paced cartoon. Also, water tribe avatars are born to suffer lol
@JMK the ATLA characters had character arcs AND badass scenes, why does Korra have to only have character arcs and get her ass kicked all the time? You can have both, ATLA is proof of that.
Notice Kuvira's fighting style: she is well grounded in the horse-stances of regular earth-bending, but instead of blocking as is usual for earth-bending, she dodges making more like airbending and she redirects energy like a waterbender. Coupled with metalbending and armor that comes off in pieces as a supply of ammunition, making Kuvira such a formidable opponent. She also always has a plan, even in her improvisation during fighting, whereas Korra still goes in without a real plan and though she is learning and growing during the course of the series, it seems to be the hardest habit for Korra to break. The fourth season is in my opinion the strongest, and I still regret there wasn't a season five.
Its not that she went in with out a plan, her plan from the start was to talk things over. But other characters forced her hand. The problem is not only is she still suffering from ptsd which without, she would have won the fight. The bigger problem (which i think people forget) Korra has not trained, prepared, or even truly fought in 3 years. She doesnt even have the muscles that she used to. And shes going up against a highly decorated soldier. And i honestly dont know why people can see this
@@GodBear97 Yeah I feel like Bolin is better with him rather than by himself for comedy. Bolin seemed forced hard to being too goofy by himself at times (in a way that made him look too dumb at times) but he works better bouncing off Varrick being eccentric.
Fun fact: The banners adorning Zaofu following its fall to the Earth Empire read "May Kuvira live for ten thousand years" (古维拉万岁), a phrase often said in reference to the Emperor in ancient China.
@@mrgroovy5113 yeah, they got an expert in chinese writting, I think, like, only one thing written in Avatar was kinda weird, everything else was top notch chinese.
Ten thousand years is also used to say infinite in Chinese. This is is why the librarian says he is "He who knows ten thousand things", he means he is all knowing. This is equivalent to saying "forever may she reign" in English.
Even with that Korra was still capable of being in the fight enough to be able to end Kuvira eventually. If only we got to see Korra at her fullest capabilities and in control....

@@yukijames1321 It makes sense for Zaheer to her. Kuviera was the exact thing Zaheer was trying to prevent, so he would want to do anything he could to help stop her
Like honestly its true. Korra was not ready for this. Physically shes not half as strong as she once was and mentally she just wasn't there. I get that everyone expected her as the Avatar to just go out there and save the day. But having her fight Kuvira, one of the best benders in the world so soon after getting the poison out. Its almost abusive.
@@crowmaster9652 not this argument again please Aang and Korra are practically polar opposites. The portrayal of Aang as a child after all the stuff he saw was imo not that realistic. I think what happened to Korra would have happened to Aang if the creators were allowed to get darker at the time PTSD fucks people up Also I’m not saying I dislike Aang’s character, I love his character, I’m just saying they chose to steer away from exploring his trauma deeper in a way that feels less human. Part of that is probably because the my were trying to make a specific kind of show (at the time) While ATLA and LoK both exist in the same universe, they are thematically and fundamentally different

@@thocka5144 funny how the Avatar cycle would have ended if it wasn't for Katara but only Korra gets heat/get blamed for "ending" it even though it was Unalaq's fault. But nobody blames Aang.
@@thocka5144 Because ATLA was less realistic. You can tell by the fact that in atla old people were still on top but in lok even Toph admits that she can't fight a long battle anymore. Zuko got clapped and Katara is retired. Same way Aang magically hot the avatar state back avoiding the consequences of his actions and what happened to him. Well in Legend of Korra it is all about how these super villains take their pound of flesh off Korra even in their defeats and that as a water avatar Korra keeps changing and adapting.
Kuvira used to be a dancer. As seen when we first arrived at Zaofu in Book 3. No wonder she's so agile. Not to mention that she's in peak physical condition whereas Korra spent months in a wheelchair, still deals with PTSD, and carried around a metal poison that literally weighed her down ("I feel so much lighter"). She even lost muscle mass in those three years. No wonder she was off her game
Tenzin and Aang carried Book 1. Varrick and Wan carried Book 2. Zuko, Beifongs & Red Lotus carried book 3, Varrick and Bolin and the Beifongs carried Book 4. Korra is just kinda there lol.

Kuvira is incredibly skilled, watching her fight its so tight and focused utilizing a combination of earth and metal bending. I think that was the purpose of this episode, to establish her power base going forward.
Just a reminder guys: Korra have been living with poison for 3 years: - 2 and half years without training/fighting; - 6 months of getting her ass kicked while still fragile. She is still dealing with a lot of physical and mental dificulties. She need some time WITHOUT the poison to get back to her full capacity.
If u think about it when has she ever one a fight one one one.She jumped with mako in the last fight against Amon where she still lost the 3 elements she had.The. She proceeded to lose against that evil dude
In season 2.Even when she went big and fought one on one she still had help.Janora had to pull up and help her.And you know how the Zaheer fight went. She has been a trash avatar
Aang got punked on in Crossroads of Destiny kinda. Avatars can lose fights and make judgement errors, which is what Korra did. Even aside from her mental state, they're not perfect
Yes, Avatars can lose fights. But Aang's loss in that Episode isn't anything like how Korra lost here. Aang was doing relatively well in that fight, and it was pretty even until he got SNIPED by Azula when going Avatar State. Here, Korra stood NO CHANCE. And I'm not gonna be super-harsh on her for this loss, sure, but regardless, its still pretty lame seeing her just THIS pathetic in a fight.
@@TheGloryXros Don't lie to yourself, Aang never really stood a chance against Azula even when she didn't have bending lol. Kuvira is basically another Azula who's arguably a better fighter.
@@FranciscoJavier-xg9rb "Never really stood a chance" ??? Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but Aang's gotten in a few hits on Azula hasn't he? I wouldn't say he was COMPLETELY outclassed by her, but yes, most likely Azula would've won in a 1-v-1 at that point. mid diff at least, but definitely not a stomp. ESPECIALLY with Avatar State. I don't really see much justification for her being such a huge threat in terms of a Bender....but this kinda goes into the problems with LoK's normalization of unique Bending abilities. Reason you could say Azula is posed as a unique threat is because she knew Lightningbending AND Blue Firebending, both of which are special forms of Firebending that are exclusive only to the best of Firebenders. In LoK? They made Metalbending pretty much mainstream, where a whole city of people can do it, plus a whole police force. So it's not nearly as impressive when seeing Kuvira, a basic Earth+Metalbender, take out our Avatar. This is partially what makes Kuvira such a boring & uninteresting villain.
@@FranciscoJavier-xg9rb in season 1 we learned that Aang uses air bending to move super fast, in day of black sun they nerf his speed to move the plot along! Also Aang defeated Ozai who is a more powerful bender than Azula, so Aang could definitely beaten azula by the end of season 3
@@TheGloryXros No. Azula completely outclasses Aang. That's literally the reason that he couldn't even land a hit on her even when she couldn't use any fire lol. You don't need to have unique bending abilities to fight in par with an Avatar. You just have to be good lol. We saw that in Atla, Lok, and the Kyoshi novels. Hell, even with only earthbending, Toph could arguably beat season 3 Aang. Also blue firebending is not even impressive for anyone but the viewers. It's never once brought up in the show, making it such an irrelevant point that I'm not sure why you think it made her a threat. The only color change that actually has some relevance to strength/power was Rangi's white flame which was blindingly bright.
@@denfire5063. You mean that 13 year old boy that was annoying as hell and didn't face any of the main villians until the very end and constantly did things that were stupid but of course give him a pass because you guys are fanboys of avatar the last airbender
They keep calling her a trash avatar, and I'm just here thinking, well... Yeah, that's kind of the struggle of Korra, trying to live up to this impossible standard that came before her in a world that's grown more interconnected and complex with its international relations and politics. Not to mention new forms of bending that were unprecedented or unrefined in Aang's time. She's been placed in a position that's more complicated than any avatar we have known before.
@@crowmaster9652 she's been given opportunities, yeah, most avatars before her operated as free agents, and she has got fairly consistent support, true. But no Avatar has had to deal with PR or the Media the way Korra has. And often that support system is conditional on her political backing, we saw that with the president. Like I said, the political world has grown more complex. She's often expected to operate on their agenda, not her own, then is criticized and abandoned for going against their wishes. Most Avatars have had very clear-cut black and white problems and have had the world at large agree with their actions. Korra has more nuanced issues that take a more careful approach.
Say it louder tho bruh. When her hairs messed up and shes got that bruce lee type swagger going on. God damn does it work. Her and zhu li are way slept on
The biggest plot hole of this fight is knowing Korra could bend metal and female Hitler over there was wearing that shit like jewelery all over her body.
Korra is a beginner at metal bending and hasnt trained in years. So of course she's not going to use her weakest element at that point against the best metal bender of the era. Plus Kuvira kept distance between them, so Korra's best element to use thats readily available. Would be air or fire.
I think of it like this- the metal on Kuvira is like skin on her back. It's almost like its personal to her... like it's part of her chi and energy. Korra would probably have to put in a lot of effort to metal bend the armor on Kuvira, and because Kuvira is wearing the armor and it's such in close proximity, Kuvira wouldn't even have to lift a finger to keep the metal from being bent by someone else. It'd probably be pointless to try and metal bend armor that's on a metal bender, which is why I think Kuvira and Su Yin don't try in their fight. They have that much control over their own armor but barely any on the other.
Just as an addendum to last episodes clowning on Korra for asking Kuvira to leave, I feel like most people forget that Aang was literally asking the firelord to back off and leave as he was cackling and burning the world from his airships. Aang was giving the most evil man in the world an opportunity to back off. Korra was giving someone who was previously a comrade that same opportunity. It's not that weird.

Some comments here quite don't understand, if they were both fighting at their best, Kuvira would be no match to Korra. The antagonist's strength peaked at S2 with UnaVatuu and Korra destroyed them before the fusion and after, both easily. Even if Korra won this fight, there was no guarantee that Kuvira's army would just leave Zaofu.
@SockMonkey Gaming She took out soldiers and other characters within season 2. The only times she’s lost before Unavaatu are to spirits that are already difficult for avatars when not corrupted. She almost sealed Vaatu by herself before Unalaq sneak attacked her and could’ve beaten Unavaatu before turning into a giant spirit had Vaatu’s arm not forcefully taken Raava out of her. Before Unvaatu even did that she was also exhausted and caught some ground on him after fighting Vaatu. So with saying that, Korra literally fought 3 major battles on that same night. One with Vaatu, one with Regular dark avatar Unavaatu, and the last one being giant dark spirit Unaavatu.
@SockMonkey Gaming Korra had Mako and Bolin aid her in keeping Unalaq out of the spirit world from the outside. She’s the one who threw him out in order to keep her focus on Vaatu. The moment Bolin and Mako came back was AFTER Unalaq and Vaatu fused. Even when Unavaatu took Raava out, Mako and Bolin were too late to do anything and were no match to him. And since when did I ever say or imply Korra never struggled during those fights. I literally talked about how she was exhausted. Like make it make sense. Ur the one who’s making it seem all black and white like she lost to just about anyone in season 2. Just because I was typing an analysis of the fight on Korra’s end when she had to fight 2 enemies turned into one on the same night doenst mean I think she’s perfect. It’s simple observation. I know Korra’s not perfect.
@SockMonkey Gaming yeah fr. The biggest problem i have with korra is when i finally realised its not just her. The whole main cast just gets repeatedly folded and beat up way more than the original squad did. It makes them look so weak and like they didnt deserve to win

If their proud uniter was destroyed by the avatar in front of the whole army even after kuvira talked so big I’m sure the army would’ve stood down especially since it’s at Zoufu, where it’s known as the most powerful stronghold
@SockMonkey Gaming Clearly you didn't watch the same show. I'd sit here to explain why what you're saying makes no sense but honestly I'm tired of fucking haters. You do you
@SockMonkey Gaming She literally put Vaatu in a tree within a few seconds and threw Unalaq's ass out of the spirit world because she was focused on Vaatu lol. Even when they fused and she didn't have Raava she defeated them. She also defeated Amon in their last fight, withstanding his bloodbending and defeating him only with airbending and she was handing the entire Red Lotus crew's asses to them until the poison kicked in.
Peak is kind of a weird term if we're not talking about shonen. Vaatu is a primordial spirit and unavatuu is a fusion, all the main villains are competent and efficient in their own distinct ways. Most of these battles have skill, technique and circumstances that effect the outcome, as opposed to some type of power level scale.
Varrick recalls the time he was broken out of his prison cell by UnaVaatu in "Light in the Dark". While playing with a piece of meteorite, Kuvira metalbends it into the shapes Suyin and Korra bent during the Avatar's metalbending lessons in "Old Wounds".

The banners adorning Zaofu following its fall to the Earth Empire read "May Kuvira live for ten thousand years" (古维拉万岁), a phrase often said in reference to the Emperor in ancient China. Varrick stating that Zhu Li's name would become synonymous with "betrayal" is similar to how the names of Ephialtes, Quisling, and Judas became synonymous with "traitor" in many languages and cultures. This is the second time seismic sense is used while wearing footwear, the first was in "The Terror Within" by Lin. This is Ikki's and Huan's last speaking roles in the series.
Korra wasn’t being a hypocrite by attempting to be neutral to both factions at first, she was actually doing her job and not escalating anything until there was no recourse.
Suyin is capable of using seismic sense. Despite having removed the mercury in her body, Korra still experiences hallucinations of herself in the Avatar State. Varrick took an interest in spirit vines, intending to use them as a source of clean energy, after seeing them unleashed into Republic City by UnaVaatu. It was revealed that Baatar Jr. hired Varrick.
3:45 Thats the whole point, Korra has moved from randomly attack people with power alone, and is now seeking to do things with talking first. Its literally an example of her progression.
It’s like going to the gym after 3 years and straight away lifting 200 kg/ ibs/ pounds (idk what y’all be calling your mass) just because the poison was taken out it doesn’t mean she’s healed, she’s healed physically but not mentally like legit 5 people with the ability to bend at the max potential of their element hunted/ targeted her in plan to kill her not just to end the avatar but literally end the avatar and kill her. It’s called trauma. It’s always there when you think you’re fine but the memories will always re-surface
To give a hint as to how strong Kuvira is, the creators stated that she's prime Toph level. Korra's least powerful villain is another Toph. That is genuinely terrifying.
Is that true? In the 1v1 with Suyin later in the season, they're about equal. Not to say that Su isn't powerful as fuck, but I don't think she's quite Prime Toph level
"She's mentally messed up"...mmm we've been telling you this since this season started. The whole point of her journey is to be destroyed first and then being able to reconstruct herself into a better Avatar. But hey don't worry other reviewers made the same mistake, they jumped into the Korra's trash bandwagon without understanding her as a Character. This show has made sure there's no unnecessary plot armor, and there are consequences for mistakes, also this show is not like DB super and some other shonen shows where the protagonist hugs all the attention.
Most people forget being the avatar doesnt make you a better bender than everyone else until.....well you go into avatar mode. A real master will kick the avatar's ass even with them using all 4 elemeents if they are just a better bender.
This is a lie. Aang was able to learn the elements easily and be stronger at them than people who had been practicing their bending for their whole lives. An Avatar is supposed to be more naturally talented than a regular bender.
Nah you are wrong on that one. Aang for example was already better than some masters. That is the point of the avatar. Natural gifted at all the elements once they master them. An avatar mastering all the elements is leagues above those who are not a avatar. Avatar state is just a defense mechanism.
@@joeydooler156 Katara became better over time but when they were practicing together before they got the water bending scroll or went to a master, Aang was able to master moves she had been practicing for a long time and he was even able to create a massive wave, a move that she was not capable of. In Katara's own words when she was angry "because you're sooo naturally gifted"
How to be diplomatic. Not be like Aang. As each Avatar is their own person. Would you say any of the known Avatars act like Aang? Nope they didn't, nor should they. Same goes for Korra. They each learn from their own life experience and apply it to the needs of their era.....
It makes me upset how many ppl don’t get she has ptsd HARD. Like Vietnam flashback no joke PTSD. It was never the poison. That only held her back physically. Mentally and neurologically she was CHANGED by her battle with zaheer. She was mentally unstable bc of him and needs to release her fears. She hasn’t done the chakra exercise like aang did to help him. THAT being said I’m glad u get it now lol
During their battle, Kuvira attaches a piece of metal around Korra left wrist and right ankle to twist her around. However, as Korra falls to the ground, the strips are gone without having been removed. This happens every time when this move is used. After Korra is knocked down by a rock to the stomach, she sends a fire stream at Kuvira with her left hand, the flames trailing behind it. When the shot moves to a back view of Korra, however, the flames are on her right side. When the train car containing Bolin and Varrick blows up, the main portion of the train containing Baatar Jr. and the other Earth Empire soldiers appears to be going toward the explosion and the broken tracks.
Seeing Korra like this is really difficult. I love what they did in Book 4, making it about her recovering from ptsd, as well as poison, to show that not everyone can just recover from traumatic experiences. As much as I love Book 4, it's still difficult to see, lol.

"under the guise of uniting the Earth Kingdom" Ah no that's quite literally what she's doing. The Earth Kingdom is in disarray after the events of the last book and even prior to that after the hundred year war had land taken under the guidance of Aang and Zuko to set up Republic City which was made up of colonies from the Fire Nation which had invading during the war. Her motivations and intentions are like many themes in Korra derived from real world historical events. They're probably more realized than those of Zaheer who was basically sowing chaos for the sake of sowing chaos even though this chapter is the probably the weakest in terms of writing of all them.
Kuvira has done in the earth kingdom in like a month than multiple generations of kings/queens done in 100s of years. So I see it as she is good that doesn't care HOW she makes her home a better place
Kuvira is no different than any other Earth Kingdom leader like Long Feng. She's just a power-hungry asshole that thinks she has a right to decide how everyone lives. And as of the last episode she's officially just a Hitler-analog marching into Zaofu (Poland).
@@Prince_the_One Part of the problem is that she thinks of it as her kingdom. She also uses criminals to terrorize provinces into falling in line by starving the people there. And if her empire was so peaceful why does she need concentration camps?

Kuvira was literally a quick boulder drop away from becoming the poster child of "Talk shit, get hit!" Like I always thought it was so funny how Kuvira was talking mad shit until Korra went into the Avatar State and folded her in seconds
There’s a good point about the subtleties of Kuvira. Her goal is to save the people and her country. Calling her evil without context could make it sound like saving people is evil. There is no true good or evil, life is more complicated than that. Kuvira’s methods are the problem. She initially did what was necessary but kept doing it until it became the norm. They contrasted it by having Suyin do the same thing this episode, what was necessary, and call her out on it. Now Suyin isn’t pure evil too, right? Take the thrown to act and the thrown acts on you.
I legitimately don't understand why people get upset at the fact that Korra faces consequences realistically. She is supposed to lose and make mistakes, just like Aang would have died in Book 1 with Zuko in the frost if his friends didn't find him, lost at the end of Book 2, and would have with Ozai unless he got hit by that rock. The entire point of Avatar is that the Avatar is not automatically some type of unstoppable god, they are limited by their humanity and human vulnerabilities (see Roku not taking out Sozin leading to end of Airbenders, Kuruk being careless and his wife's face getting stolen, etc.). Korra has won more than she lost, and does so with the help of her friends just as Aang did. She faces way higher stakes than Aang did and undergoes pretty much a journey of enlightenment over the course of the series. Suffering and loss humbles her and makes her a more compassionate/rational person. I think a lot of people hate on this show and her because they want to see Aang and old characters, and end up idealizing them.

Korra real journey begins in season 4 sorry Nick cancel book 5 cause of low ratings

PTSD fucks people up
Also I’m not saying I dislike Aang’s character, I love his character, I’m just saying they chose to steer away from exploring his trauma deeper in a way that feels less human. Part of that is probably because the my were trying to make a specific kind of show (at the time)

The biggest plot hole of this fight is knowing Korra could bend metal and female Hitler over there was wearing that shit like jewelery all over her body.
IKR just thought about that
Korra should have won lot of these fights. The writers did not do her justice. I still like her though

Peak is kind of a weird term if we're not talking about shonen. Vaatu is a primordial spirit and unavatuu is a fusion, all the main villains are competent and efficient in their own distinct ways. Most of these battles have skill, technique and circumstances that effect the outcome, as opposed to some type of power level scale.

interesting thing I noticed when Opal and Jinora are holding off Kuvira's forces Opal is in more of an earth stance compared to Jinora, which makes sense given that Opal grew up with earth and metal benders
15:01 the character developement on Roshi and Lupa is strong, i remember in the early seasons when they were calling Milo an Asshole while laughing
Varrick is by far my favorite Korra character.
He's easily the MVP of Book 4.
“I’m getting second-hand embarrassment.” 💀

Reminds me of Azula after becoming crazy

That’s bs
And when old toph pulled up on that ass she had nothing left to SAY. I smell bullshit!

"she got something up her sleeve"
Something up her sleeve: being so damn strong
"She's mentally messed up"...mmm we've been telling you this since this season started. The whole point of her journey is to be destroyed first and then being able to reconstruct herself into a better Avatar. But hey don't worry other reviewers made the same mistake, they jumped into the Korra's trash bandwagon without understanding her as a Character. This show has made sure there's no unnecessary plot armor, and there are consequences for mistakes, also this show is not like DB super and some other shonen shows where the protagonist hugs all the attention.
Dude you need to chill
relax man they know she isn't there mentally they've mentioned it themselves the past few episodes including this one
They know. ;-;
They watched this months ago
“Weave, weave” , 😂 swear you guys have the best reaction videos out here 👍🏾💪🏾
Most people forget being the avatar doesnt make you a better bender than everyone else until.....well you go into avatar mode.
@@Prince_the_One no they are not? aang was not a better fire/earth or water bender than any of the masters in tla
@@resolvedfate1295 do you not realize he was a master airbender himself.

Can't wait to see how they feel about that one joke episode.
Everyone's readiness for Korra to get clapped gives me life
Kuvira be drippin this episode
I lover her kick boxing style earthbending
This season does the best job of showing how Korra is trying to learn how to be like Aang.
How to be diplomatic. Not be like Aang. As each Avatar is their own person. Would you say any of the known Avatars act like Aang? Nope they didn't, nor should they. Same goes for Korra. They each learn from their own life experience and apply it to the needs of their era.....
Jeez, I wonder what they're going to use the dismantled platinum domes of Zaofu for? :^)
probably to poison korra again so the korra fans can be butthurt that she is a flawed protagonist.
@@crowmaster9652what the fuck are you even talking about
"She got something up her sleeves" Hands. Straight hands.
Maaan, Varrick is just too funny!
THAT being said I’m glad u get it now lol
refreshed at the perfect time!!
I be forgetting dat Korra’s villains be OP asf😂
Seeing Korra like this is really difficult. I love what they did in Book 4, making it about her recovering from ptsd, as well as poison, to show that not everyone can just recover from traumatic experiences.
As much as I love Book 4, it's still difficult to see, lol.
And it’s more difficult to see people like them just laughing at it and call her trash avatar and clown.
Yea but she recovers by simply bending the metal out from which NOTHING IS LEARNED!!
Toph could've moved the plot faster but because of Korra being incompetent and stupid more screen time yaaaay
@@crowmaster9652 Except she actually doesn't. Korra was suffering from both ptsd *and* poison. You can see in this very episode that she is *still* suffering from ptsd even after the poison was removed.
At least make your argument somewhat believable, otherwise you look like you're making up nonsense for the sake of trash talking Korra.
@@krazytreRTM suffering from both ptsd and poison yet is cured by bending the metal out...... the fact that....
I mean korra failed her responsibility to the avatar state and stained the beautiful world that was ready for a strong female protagonist only to be shattered by a dumb incompetent hero who can't use her brain and is saved by her friends aka deus ex machina and plot armor. GOOD OL PLOT ARMOR!!
At least make your argument realistic.
@@crowmaster9652 You keep saying that she "cured" her ptsd, yet she's still suffering from her ptsd even after the poison was removed.
You say she's constantly saved by her friends, but so was Aang? Or are we forgetting that Aang was shot full of lightning and would have been dead if it hadn't been for Katara using her healing abilities? Or the fact that Aang wouldn't have even known about the Eclipse if it hadn't been for Sokka, or would have been trapped in Spirit Library if it hadn't been for Toph?
Korra has issues, I'm not denying that, but your points make absolutely zero sense. So what if she has help? Aang had help all throughout ATLA.
Lmao, I'm convinced that you're a troll that's arguing for the sake of arguing, and just want to find a reason to trash talk. No longer gonna waste my time replying to you.

"under the guise of uniting the Earth Kingdom"
Ah no that's quite literally what she's doing.
@@leejs She actually made her kingdom safer by fending off the rogues and more peaceful.
@@Prince_the_One Part of the problem is that she thinks of it as her kingdom. She also uses criminals to terrorize provinces into falling in line by starving the people there. And if her empire was so peaceful why does she need concentration camps?
@@leejs but that just shows she can easily just get rid of all their problems like the bandits.. and she will protect what is her's. And they get food, and supplies unlike many places that get starved to death by dictators.
@@jabbawookeez01 yeah, tbh she would've benefited the earth kingdom and advanced them by light-years but in the process she would probably have internment camps and death squads.
Kuvira was literally a quick boulder drop away from becoming the poster child of "Talk shit, get hit!"
Like I always thought it was so funny how Kuvira was talking mad shit until Korra went into the Avatar State and folded her in seconds
And when the world needed him most Aang was no where to be seen but Varrick carried this episode
"Where's Aang?" I'm dead 🤣
