I’ve had one of the original Hound Dog weed puller for about 20 years. Use it every year, mine is all metal , dark green.

Same, and I love it. It's simple and effective.

The video demonstration is very good. This weeding gadget is really practical. I bought the same renhotec brand weeding machine not long ago. After using it for a while, it’s not bad. It’s worth trying.

Mine is green and just like this one except with a round knob at the top. It doesn't hurt my hand after a while like you mention and there is no bending down to the mechanism on the pole like this one has. I just watched another video where the dude thinks the green one I have is the worst out of his comparisons, but I think it the best one overall. It says Weed Hound on the handle.

fyi, I found one at a garage sale (cheap). I bought it and can tell you how they hold up.
If you leave it outside, it will rust and, assuming the "nails" are not stainless steel, it is unusable.
On the positive side and if you have plenty of time, you can get it back in working order. And, it will stay in working order if you take care of it (and DON'T leave it outside).

Use WD-40 oil in the tin can to lubricate and Steel wool to sand the rust off if accidentally left out.

I almost threw mine away because it didn't work like my other weed puller. Thanks for the video

They are hard to find and actually have crazy resale value

Peter von Panda didn't know that. I've thrown away so much stuff. So I look on UA-cam first. Your video was perfect

My boyfriend let me try his out; it was my first time to use anything like that. It certainly saves wear and tear on your back. But I can't find it available anywhere. He's had his for about 15 years. Any advice?

Mine was worthless. Hard to get the weed off and the retaining ring came off inside.

@peter von panda i know this is an old video but im looking to buy one of these tools for my lawn. I know you mentioned in a comment that you like the fiskar tool better but from the reviews ive read about it on amazon it seems a common problem the Fiskar has is the piece holding the blades keeps breaking off because its made out of plastic. Have you had this problem with your Fiskar? I'm leaning to purchase the weed puller featured in this video over the Fiskar only because of this issue. Hope to hear from you soon.

Same. Leaning towards this product or the old fashioned "Grandpa's Weeder". Have you tried either of these?

Did you like this better than the Fiskars?

But it seems to leave less of a hole than the Fiskars.

Would buy in a heartbeat but they are nowhere to be found. Nuts to spend money advertising the thing and not have any product to sell.
