Stretching Rooms

Render tests to replicate the infamous Haunted Mansion stretching room. I thought it would be fun to substitue the original paintings with parody artwork created by some popular illustrators. Materials created in Photoshop, animated and rendered in Cinema4D.

I love the Batman ones, especially Bat Girl, Nightwing and Batman sinking into Basil Carlo! XD They are all rather humorous and macabre though.

Your cadaverous pallor betrays an aura of foreboding, almost as if you sense a disquieting metamorphosis. Is this haunted room actually stretching? Or is it your imagination, hmm? And consider this dismaying observation. This chamber has no windows…and no doors (chuckle). Which offers you this chilling challenge: to find a way out! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HA! Of course, there’s always…my way. (Loud thunder claps as lightning flashes to reveal a corpse hanging from the rafters, then lights go out) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! (Crash) Oh, I didn’t mean to frighten you prematurely (chuckles again) now, as they say, look alive. And we’ll continue our little tour, and let’s all stay together…please.
