I have no idea why this video is now popping up on everyone’s recommended in MARCH, but I’m so glad it did! This is absolutely incredible, I’m beyond amazed at how many details there are and the beauty of it all.

It is for me because I've been watching and listening to Grim Grinning Ghosts since Monday.
This is a great video and I think the reason it's here is we can't go out on Halloween is the virus or anywhere else

@@emorrot9938 Sure! The projections are from thesingingpumpkin.com, they sell a few different variations there. I edited them all together to make a longer "show" and we projected it onto the pumpkins, driving the video off of a computer. Hope this helps! :)

I GOT CHOKED UP WHEN THEY STARTED "THIS IS HALLOWEEN". Nightmare is NOT my favorite Tim Burton film, I swear, but... Haunted Mansion Holiday is my favorite Haunted Mansion so this made me extremely happy.
... and my favorite treat at Disney is the Jack Skellington apple.

This is Buckle's house on Stan's street, stealing his limelight with his former Imagineer skills and collections. Seems like he finally toned down the knife-wielding animatronics Disney described as "too scary", though

Huge haunted Mansion fan here. I LOVE THIS LOVE THIS
A lot of work went into this. The only suggestion is to hide or block the projectors with an object like a tombstone, another set of pumpkins hollowed out, or maybe a bale of hay. Maybe block the projectors with foreground items like a Bride or Announcment Podium or Coffin. GREAT JOB!!!
Good idea! We planned to do this but couldn't re-arrange things in time to make it be blocked in a nice way. :)

The projection mapping is top notch! I love the little details like when the pumpkins are humming you had their little faces move up and down a little instead of just sitting still and they even blink from time to time. Perfect!

There's haunted mansion soundtracks out there produced directly by disney. I know it was at least on vinyl, I'm assuming it's been produced (or bootlegged) to CD or digital.

Awesome! Maybe next time you could set up a Pepper's Ghost illusion of some type as well! The ghost bride from the attic scene would make a fantastic addition and actually wouldn't be very hard to set up and pull off up on your front porch there. Just put something solid behind those portraits so that no one could see that section of the porch through them, and keep it as dark as you can up on the porch. Then put your bride figure (or whichever figure you'd want) back there so that she isn't visible from the front, and have a controllable light that can shine on the figure when you want your "ghost" to show up. Then get a sheet of a clear plexiglass-type thing and hang it at a 45 degree angle adjacent to the ghost figure. Then all you'd have to do is shine that light onto the ghost figure itself so that its transparent reflection shows up in that plexiglass sheet, and BOOM you've got yourself another classic Haunted Mansion ghost that would surely make your house the best on the block by far. That would be really cool to see and definitely not even as difficult as 3d-printing and projection mapping the busts by yourself! Cool stuff.
