Hi Valeria, i really like this video! Just a small info, or tip, or whatever you call that ; maybe you already know this but avocados need a looooooot of water, and lead to massive deforestation ; doesn't mean we can't eat any (i personnaly still do eat some, but i try to eat them less often than before). so i was just thinking maybe olive oil instead of avocado oil is an easy thing to replace, if you want to, for planet you know ;). not judging at all, and i am not saying that you should do that at all, you do you, i just wanted to let you know in case you didn't know this :)

This morning I made a savory smoothie XD 1 cup low sodium veggie juice (like V8), a heaping 1/2 cup each of corn and peas, garlic, spinach, and spices (like cumin, turmeric, oregano and basil). Don't be afraid to try it, it's surprisingly yummy!

I agree with you on the variety of “healthy” food these days. People try to go to the extremes with “healthy” and because of that the food ends up being suckish. I like my spaghetti and my cheese and I will eat it.

So... Finally, this beautiful angel shows us to eat healthy foods. Nowadays lots of youtuber show us to eat only one banana and protein shake in their what ı eat in a day videos. So teenager watch these videos and they think that this is healthy eating habit. But this angel inspires to everyone. She deserves more views
    Love You Valeria ❤❤

I love this!! I get so discouraged watch all of these pregnant mamas make these beautiful masterpieces for every meal. Working full time with a 10 month old I do not have the time or energy to spend that much time on a single snack. This was so so encouraging. Thank you!! ❤️

Valeria, you inspired me to study nutrition. It's such an amazing field, and I'm only getting started! I am really loving the probiotic world, but with a lower income (because I prefer to work from home, and I don't want to work in a corporative world just yet, and I'm building my business, etc), I can't usually afford probiotic pills (plus, I prefer to get nutrients from more natural, fresh sources than pills) which is why I am absolutely blessed to have water kefir grains as a gift from my mom! I am absolutely loving the kefir, I do a second fermentation with fruits so it basically turns into a delicious soda. As someone who gets bored with plain water easily, it's awesome to have delicious, nutritious "soda" on hand every day. It can be sweet or not at all depending on how long you leave it to ferment (in these hot tropical days, it can be as low as one day or less and all the sugar is gone). I also love love fermented foods, like kimchee and sauerkraut, which I am still learning to make, and I am also swapping store bought bread for homemade sourdough bread. I usually make bread at home, but sourdough bread is so much easier to digest!
A diet full of veggies is the best way to go. I'm a creature of carbs, I just love bread and pasta and noodles, and I feel my days aren't complete without something of that kind. I eat very little animal foots, and I try to get more fish and seafood, then sometimes chicken, and like a few times a year I will have some bigger animal meats (beef, pork) at a family gathering. Organic algae are one of my favorite things ever. I love Asian food (the real stuff, not the things loaded with fats and sugars you can get from a takeout), and learning about how they actually cook (and used to cook years ago) is also really helpful in learning new ways to mix foods and prepare things we're not necessarily used to.
I would love to recommend that you try out some fermented food recipes. They are really (really) easy to make, you just put three things in a glass container, set an alarm for 3 days, and forget about it. that's it. Fermented foods are so rich in probiotics... Water kefir has basically made my husband be able to eat, when about a month ago so many foods would cause stomach upset. He used to be angry and tired after eating anything, now he can eat as much as he likes without getting lethargic or being in any pain. And for me, it has helped with regulating everything, and a glass of water kefir can easily replace that morning coffee for me which was causing so many bad things (from sweating to difficulty concentrating to lots of stomach issues). It just makes life better.
Anyway, I could keep talking because food is like.. literally what keeps me alive... but what I want to say is THANK YOU for being such a great person, for sharing your life, your tips, and your experiences. You have inspired me so much, as well as so many other people, to live amazing lives. Really, thank you

Can you do a vlog of your weekly shop and what you do with the food once you bring it home? I.e. cut up the chicken, season it, put in a ziplock bag. Slice zucchini and freeze it. These hacks useful for me as someone who is also busy and doesn’t want to expend too much time on cooking, but needs to eat healthily. I need advice on how best to prepare the food I buy in my weekly food shops. Thanks.

Hi Valeria, great video! As a med school student I try to implement healthy easy meals like yours in my lifestyle as well. I am actually already using quite a lot of your recepies, and you made me fall in love with healthy breakfast smoothies!! I do have a question for you: recently I have heard that avocado is very bad for the environment (because it needs a loooot of water (don't know the specific details)). Have you thought about this or perhaps an alternitive to avocado? I'm curious what you think :). Thank you, keep up the great work, love you!

Pasta hack: as Italian, I can tell you we don't cook pasta like that (as most/all foreigners do), we cook pasta and sauce AND veggies or any kind of ingredients in a separate pot, and then eventually mix them, so that everything will have its good consistency

I think your message is so refreshing I myself am vegan but I always stress to the people around me that it’s not about being perfect it’s just trying where you can and doing what suits you and being mindful and I think that’s just as amazing as going the whole way. You don’t have to commit to anything and I think that’s the biggest thing people forget when promoting veganism. Not every one can or WANTS to, because you should only do it if you want to not restrict yourself because you feel as though you have to. just do you be happy be healthy you don’t have to be perfect. because at the end of the day there’s no way to be flawless in the way we eat. Just support and encourage others around you if they want to and be mindful and realistic for yourself.

I really like your way to approach it all when it comes to dietary recommendations and eating habits! I follow a plant based diet/ vegan diet myself but I think your advices are really good. Some people need to incorporate more of some foods on their journey while others doesn't. I also like how you are highlighting that it isn't necessarily to strive for perfection in relation to diet.

I wish I could eat that much, but with HG and Gallstones in the gallbladder (diagnosed during current pregnancy) I barely eat. I’m so exhausted, and I also lost lots of weight. But it was super motivating to ear you saying what you said about giving yourself rights to eat whatever you want if it makes you feel good. You’re also really so sweet xx

I've especially loved Ezekiel bread ever since you introduced me to it. It's really hard for me to find whole multigrain bread because I can't eat oats (I know, weird allergy). I don't know if they would have it in Canada but I also found an Ezekiel cereal by the brand I buy the bread from. It's a great substitute for granola because it has little to no sugar. Lots of love

Madeleine Mironuk Yes I know but since I stay in dorm I just can't trust the food that is made from animal products such as chicken meat fish egg etc. So I always eat legumes chickpeas beans whole grain bread oat and as a snack fruits and chickpeas. So my intake is most from carbs. So that I want to lower my carb intake for a while. Because I feel hungry almost all the time. Maybe its because of carbs I heard as you eat carb you will be more hungry. Just in case to see how my body reacts. 😊
Thank you for information btw 🙂

Beyza Aydın you should definitely try eating more healthy fats (avocado, nuts, nut butters, seeds, coconut) and make sure you have a good balance of proteins as well :) these two will help you stay full much longer!

Thank you for this great video! I learnt canola oil is also a good kind of fat: I tested an organic canola oil on your avocado morning recipe and it was really tasty (if ever you want to give it a try)! Keep us inspired Xx A French viewer
