As a C6 GS owner, to be practical, you need to get those engine valve covers off.. all those little wires under them are being baked every time that engine heats up.. I've got a V3, full ARH headers, hi-flow cats, BTR blower cam package, NPP, 345 rears, mag ride, dyno at Doug Rippie in MN, but A6 and convertible.. these cars are a blast! Nice car young lady!
@@Smoove233 Dyno guy said "just south of 710" (at the crank). The C6 A6 transmission is a limiting factor.. he said for longevity, don't put on slicks and keep it under 650 rwhp (about 750 crank).. It doesn't hook much.. lol.

you’re so right about the cyber gray having blues in it! I just got my 2010 Grand Sport in Cyber Gray and I’m cleaning it and could clearly see the blue speckles!!! I got mine in convertible. My next one will be a coupe like yours. Nice review!

Great looking car! C6 Grand Sport here... thinking of powder coating the grey breaks to red. Any advice on how the Corvette decal does not melt or peel off? Is there a clear coat applied on top after the decal and paint process? Others say just buy red calipers with corvette already on them. Any help would be great!

That’s one Pretty C6GS Congrats! Tastefully done all around from performance mods to exterior aesthetics. So my question is what color are those wheels? I went thru similar trial and error and had my aftermarket 20” 3 Piece wheels powdercoated what seems like identical color😎. Mine were done Tiger Drylac in their Gunmetal Gloss.

I had a c7 with z51 but sold it. Felt very underwhelming. Thought about picking up a c6 GS or c7 GS once the prices come back down on the c7
I got the 7 speed manual C7 thinking I’d like it but I just didn’t. All of my vehicles now are manual except my Corvette, actually, lol, but the C7 manual was just weird. I was underwhelmed with the car as well, granted it was a base model. Plus at the time I wanted to lower my car payment which I was able to do transitioning from a C7 to a C6GS.
@@RandomCarGarage Makes sense to me. Well the c7 base/ z51 was the same power it was a good car and quick. I wish I waited for the c7 GS though because of the wider body and better tires, brakes suspension and other things. I will always get a manual because of the power limitations of the automatic transmission and I just prefer manual sports cars. I might consider a c6 GS because they just look so nice albeit the interior is quite dated but that’s not why we buy these cars. I want a black c6 or carbon flash if I can find it. Congratulations on your car it’s very clean and subtle. If I get a c6 I will procharge it or single turbo to be different.

I'm doing the TSP228/232 600. 600. I was told I could use stock converter. Just nervous on blowing it up. I'm running an A&A charger on mine. Just need the lump sound though. Can't stand no lump lol

Update: bought a 2010 c6 f55 3lt in cyber gray. Has a RPM cam and lots of other mods.

Should put a mild converter in it...Makes an auto more fun to drive and faster and its totally streetable. 2800 would be perfect.
