For years Christians have struggled to give a clear explanation of the Trinity. However, this video does that, while at the same time refutes the idea that God could be a unitarian being. If God exists the only explanation is that He is a Trinity.

"Unfathomable but not illogical" is a really good way to put it.
It is illogical to say that two or more things are identical to the same thing but distinct from each other. Any two or more things that are identical to the same thing must be identical to each other. That's how identity works.

@@ABC123jdit is logical to think that God has three seperate natures that are all are all one God but are distinct from each other. It’s confusing but it ultimately doesn’t matter if you can understand it or not.
@@Nicolos117 It matters if it implies a logical contradiction because contradictions can't be true. To say that the three persons are each identical to the same thing is to say that they are the same as each other. So you have the three persons being the same as each other and also distinct from each other, which is a contradiction.
Unfathomable AND illogical is the best way to put it.
How lame would it be to have a God we fully understand inside and out?? I enjoy the unfathomable mystery of Him!!

🐟 07. GOD (OR NOT):
There has never been, nor will there ever be, even the slightest shred of evidence for the existence of the Godhead, that is, a Supreme Person or Deity, for the notion of an omnipresent PERSON is both profoundly illogical and extremely incongruous, to put it mildly.
The English word “person” literally means “for sound”, originating from the Latin/Greek “persona/prósōpa”, referring to the masks worn by actors in ancient European theatrical plays, which featured a mouth hole to enable the actors to speak through. Theists, by definition, believe that there is a Supreme Deity which incorporates anthropomorphic characteristics such as corporeal form (even if that form is a “spiritual” body, whatever that may connote), with a face (hence the term “person”), and certain personality traits such as unique preferences and aversions. Simple logic dictates that the Ultimate Reality transcends all concepts, including personality and even impersonality. However, only an excruciatingly minute number of humans have ever grasped this complete understanding and realization.
There are at least FOUR reasons why many persons are convinced of the existence of a Supreme Personal God:
1. Because it is natural for any sensible person to believe that humans may not be the pinnacle of existence, and that there must be a higher/ultimate power in existence (an intelligent designer). However, because they cannot conceive of this designer being non-personal, they automatically suspect it must be a man (God) or a woman (The Goddess) with personal attributes. One who is truly awakened and/or enlightened understands that the Universal Self is the creator of all experiences and that he IS that (“tat tvam asi”, in Sanskrit).
2. Because they have experienced some kind of mystical phenomenon or miracle, which they mistakenly attribute to “God's grace”, but which can be more logically explicated by another means. As explained, all such phenomena are produced by the TRUE Self of all selves (“Paramātman”, in Sanskrit). I, the author of this Holy Scripture, have personally experienced very powerful, miraculous, mystical phenomena, which I formerly ascribed to the personal conception of God (since I was a Theist), but now know to be caused, ultimately, by the Real Self.
3. Because they may have witnessed the deeds or read the words of an individual who seems to be a perfect person - in other words an incarnation of the Divine Principle (“Avatāra”, in Sanskrit). To be sure, such persons do exist, but that does not necessarily prove that the Supreme Truth is PERSONAL. An Avatar is a man who was born fully enlightened, with all noble qualities, but not necessarily perfect in every possible way. For example, very few (if any) of the recognized Avatars in human history taught or practiced veganism.
4. Because they have been CONDITIONED by their family, society and/or religious organization over many years or decades. Unfortunately, we humans are very gullible. Due to low intelligence and lack of critical analysis, the typical person believes almost anything they read or hear from virtually any source. During a visit to one's local place of worship on any given weekend, one will notice a congregation of sheepish individuals nodding in agreement with practically every nonsensical, inane word spouted by their deluded so-called “priest”, imam, mullah, rabbi, guru, monk, or preacher. Even the current World Teacher, despite his genius intellect, was once a thoroughly-indoctrinated religious fundamentalist, before he awoke to a definitive understanding of life.
Having stated the above, the worship of the Personal Deity (“bhakti yoga”, in Sanskrit), is a legitimate spiritual path for the masses. However, the most ACCURATE understanding is monistic or non-dual (“advaita”, in Sanskrit). If one wishes to be even more pedantic, the ultimate understanding is beyond even the concept of nonduality, as the great South Indian sage, Śri Ramana Maharishi, once so rightly proclaimed.
As an aside, it seems that practically every religious organization, particularly those originating in Bhārata (India), claims to have been founded by an Avatar, but that’s simply wishful thinking on the part of their congregations. Only a great sage or world teacher can POSSIBLY recognize an enlightened being, what to speak of an Incarnation of the Divine. The typical spiritual aspirant, even one who may seem to be a highly-exalted practitioner, has very little idea of what constitutes actual holiness. Frankly speaking, many famous (infamous?) religious leaders were some of the most vile and contemptible characters in human history, particularly in this Epoch of Darkness (“Kali Yuga”, in Sanskrit).

I discovered God through my atheistic past as one who looked for answers through scientific discovery, until scientific discovery lead me to where I am now as a Christian. The one thing I say to current atheists when they tell me they believe in science and not some "floating man", is whether or not they actually have read the Bible. I get the same answer every time. Jordan Peterson actually wrote a book called "You Probably Should've Read The Bible", and it goes into how God's existence is proven through scientific discovery and how most people try to ignore him.
That was very cool to read and I’m definitely picking up that book.
If you haven't heard of Hugh Ross you'd probably find him fascinating. He really goes into how science points towards the God of the bible. He is an astrophysicist, has/had a tv show reasons to believe that dealt with this subject for around two decades, a ministry that deals with this, and a website that posts articles almost everyday about the most recent scientific papers that point towards Jesus. He also has many videos and debates at universities with Atheist scientists. Very fascinating.

They believe that a human being is "body, soul and spirit", but yet they can’t believe that God can be Father, Son and Holy Spirit. There is a reason why in the book of Matthew Jesus said "Baptize them in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit."
You're suppose to be baptized in jesus name. The name of the father son and holy spirit is jesus christ. I'm not trying to misinterpret God's word because I know its punishable so I'm gonna say this is how I take it until further notice. Julius Ruiz Are you a Oneness Pentecostal? How can the Father and Holy Spirit be titles for Jesus If Scripture has made it clear that they are distinct persons? Jesus considers the Father as someone other than Himself. We know Jesus is not the Father because the Father sent the Son (John3:16-17). The Father and Son love each other (John3:35) and speak to each other (John11:41-42). The Father knows the Son and the Son knows the Father (Matt.11:27). Jesus is our advocate with the Father (1John2:1). They are two distinct witnesses (John5:31,32,37). We also know Jesus is not the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is another comforter (John14:16). Jesus sent the Holy Spirit (John15:26). The Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus (Luke3:22) and seeks to glorify Jesus (John16:13-14).

The hebrew word for “one” in Deuteronomy 6:4 is “echad” and echad does not mean one in quantity but one in unity. So “The Lord our God is a unity”.

Mary wasnt sinless, she was born into sin like the rest of us. The proof is that she eventually died, the wage of sin. In my theory, the reason that Christ was born of Mary sinless is that the paternal chromosome was not present; perhaps sin is inherited from the male. Jesus may have lived forever had he not been crucified as Adam would have had he not sinned. Mary knew her son is God and believed in Him, not the other way around. Nowhere does it say in scripture that Mary is the only Way to the Father.

The way I understand it is this... when I'm gaming, My avatar is all me, yet separate from me. to the other players, and if the NPC;'s were real that would be all me, yet I know that I exist outside of that game as a physical person, and also as a spirit. Because I'm outside of the game, I can die in the game, but come back, respawn in it as well.

I also believed that same analogy you used, I remember I was just tryna understand the trinity one day and I thought about my fortnite character. However, the reason why I dropped it is because the avatar is being controlled by the person behind also meaning the avatar has no will. This isn’t in line with Scripture because Jesus is revealed to have his own will.
Luke 22:42 “saying, `Father, if Thou be counselling to make this cup pass from me --; but, not my will, but Thine be done.'”
This Scripture reveals that the Father and Son have separate wills of their own.

Yeah I've had a similar thought, that we are to video games what God is to base reality.

How do a husband and a wife become one flesh? How does a sporting team operate as one unit? Many miss this. But in Genesis 1:26. It clearly says. Let "US" make man in "OUR" image. (US, and OUR) Many don't notice how this is plural and not singular. Even Elohim (God) is plural. EL is singular. If you've seen and know Jesus. Then you've seen and know the Father. That's because they are exactly the same. You would not be able to tell them apart. The Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit operate together as one unit. They have been since before the creation of this existence.
The verse after that says what? Genesis 1:27 so God created man in his image in the image of God created he him, Male and female created he them. Do u see 2?or genesis 2:2 it says God ended his work..... people draw conclusions to suit themselves but the bible says he is one. Isaiah 43 says he is God and theirs none beside him. Where did any apostle act in the name of 3? Or baptise in 3?
The Father and the Son are not the same Person. That is the heresy of modalism rejected by the Church in the 2nd Century.
@roger johnson No, they are no the same Person. Scripture is strongly clear that modalism is false. Matthew 3:16-17 is clear that the Persons of God are distinct:

Inspiring Philosophy debunks this claim that Jesus is the Father using Isa 9:6. Watch his video on Trinitarianism Claims refuted. It is a common but debunked claim. The verse is not saying that Jesus is the Father but that he will be an "eternal father" to everyone. It is a descriptor, not his identity. The Hebrew text and the rest of the Bible make it clear.
You have to be blind to not know that the Father is distinct from the Son. The Bible makes it clear numerous times. Modalism is absolutely silly.
I really enjoyed this video and the analogies. I've been sitting here in awe thinking of how complex God is and marveling at that. We need not lean on our own understanding.

John 14:28 Literally debunks the entire video. The Father is God yes and his name is Jesus Christ yes but; The Son is not God, the Son submits to the Father. The Spirit of the Son (Holy Ghost) is the Spirit of The Father (Genesis 1:2) that is why The Holy Ghost is God but The Holy Ghost is not different from The Father (The Holy Spirit is The Father). The reason why the scriptures says that The Son and The Father are one (which is true) is because The Holy Ghost (Spirit of Christ and Spirit of The Father) connects The Father to the Son. Next part that confuses everyone is when The Son says he that hath seen me hath seen the Father, that is also true but let me explain. Obviously The Father is The Spirit (John 4:24) So how can we see flesh and see God? Well what The Son was basically telling Philip is that; The Father doeth works through The Son therefore whenever they saw The Son doing miracles they were basically seeing The Father working through The Son (John 14:10-12). Amen thank you Holy Spirit for revealing this knowledge to me Amen. In conclusion there is only 1 God NOT 3 in 1 (Ephesians 4:4-6). But as I was reading in the gospel of Matthew, around chapter 19, I started making note of references in the scriptures that make me think that the father and the son are two separate persons. Many cannot discern the difference in the scriptures concerning the flesh of Jesus Christ versus the Spirit of Jesus Christ. The Spirit of Jesus is God, the flesh of Jesus was humanly, then glorified, and is the express image (mirror image likeness, but not the very face) of the invisible God. This is what men like Stephen and John saw: The image of God in the face of Jesus Christ (the glorified body), and one (God the Father) sitting on the throne whom men cannot see face-to-face and live. When Jesus speaks of His Father while He's here on this earth, He speaks of the Father of His (now glorified) flesh.

There are more, and as soon as God reveals this to you, you will find that the entire Bible explains it as clear as day.
I mentioned a confusion many have between the spirit of Jesus Christ, and His body. Remember that Jesus said "why do you call me good? None is good, except one, that is God." Jesus referred to his flesh in saying he was not good, and that's the only way this scripture can be understood. Jesus was sinless, and ONLY did what His Father said to do - there was not a greater example of "goodness" on this earth. So for Him to say "none is good" and include himself meant that he was referring to his flesh, even as he said in another scripture.
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.

So the flesh of Jesus prayed to the Spirit of God, because God is a spirit. This is the great struggle in the Garden of Gethsemane, where the flesh was trying to "have it's way". Jesus had to pray three times for him to finally have the strength for the Spirit of God to overcome his flesh.

So Jesus, even after being glorified, did not appear to the disciples as a naked Spirit, but as a glorified body (flesh and bone, which had ascended into Heaven, and did ascend again). Jesus explicitly stated in this meeting that a spirit does not have flesh and bone. This (glorified) body is what Stephen saw when he said he saw Jesus standing on the right hand of God. This is also what John saw in Revelation. When you read the Bible you will see that even John did not see the face of God (for no man can see the face of God and live), but he did see the face of Jesus - the express image of the invisible God.

Either way, a trinity is not explained there. You can read it a certain way with trinity lenses, but it is not clearly saying "God is 3 persons" or anything like that.

Don’t say about any higher dimensions cos Mark 1, John 1 with a depiction of the baptism of Jesus says about three separate entities - the Father in heaven, the Spirit which appeared as a dove and Jesus a spirit in flesh.

Also, Jesus is referred to as the creator of all things, first in John 1, and also in Colossians 1:15-19. The firstborn of creation doesn’t mean first created, firstborn of creation shows his preeminence and sovereignty over all of creation. For the LORD created the universe (Psalm 102:25-27). As a result, if Jesus created everything, and only the LORD created everything, this means the LORD (YHWH) is Jesus. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all YHWH.
There are many many more examples… like literally, YHWH is Lord of lords (Deut 10:17), and there is only one who is able to be called that. There is only one Lord of lords. But look, Jesus Christ is also called Lord of lords (revelation 17:14, 19:16)
The scriptures say only YHWH searches the hearts of men (1 Kings 8:39; Jeremiah 17:9-10), yet, Jesus Christ does this also (John 2:24-25; Rev. 2:18-23)
Hebrews 1:8 shows the Father calling the Son God.
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

You must deny logic in order to hold the three propositions. You yourself said that that members of the Trinity aren't components of God. Each of them is the entierty of the divine escence. If you claim that violating the principle of identity is possible, then you should reject all of natural theology, as it's based on logic.
You have a logical error built into your premises:
The entity 'god' is considered a beeing; each of the entities 'the father', 'the sun' and 'the holy spirit' is considered a person.
Because persons are not beeings, the statements "god is the son" and "the son is god" (or in your notation "god=the son" and "the son=god") are no statements of equality, with which you seem to have confused it.
It's similar to the big O notation; the function f defined as f(x):=x^2+2x+4 matches the symbolic notation f=O(x^2), but O(x^2) is a set of functions and no single function like f.
A different (bit similar) analogy, might (or might not) help to describe the concept:

Of course the trinity is unfathomable because our God is unfathomable. But the bottom line is that the Bible supports it so we have to take it as it is, not as we think it should be.

I’m not sure if this is a good analogy but I was taught the analogy that God is similar to water, and water has three forms: Ice, liquid, and vapor. So the father could be similar to ice, the son could be liquid, and the spirit could be vapor. While all three are still water, the three states of ice, liquid, and vapor are all different (well maybe aside from the fact that you can transition in between these states of water by changing temperature or pressure)
From your example one form can transition to the other e.g water can transition to steam or ice.
If you are trying to compare the three forms of water to the trinity
then it means the father can transition into the son and into the holy spirit VICE VERSA

Ignatius was a disciple of John the apostle and he writes many times that Jesus is God. So yes the apostles did teach that Jesus was a part of the trinity.

You said the apostles didn't teach the Trinity but that clearly isn't the case since both Ignatius and Polycarp flat out called Jesus God. So either the apostles were terrible at teaching their own disciples, and we shouldn't trust them because how could they teach us if even their disciples were in error. Or they truly were sent from God and we need to take all available context into consideration. Including the Epistles of Ignatius of Antioch.

Literally, “begotten” and “made” are the same.
Doesn’t “begotten” imply “made”?
So literally this verse is contradictory. “begotten, not made”.
So there must be a profound meaning to this verse, that is:
At a certain point many lifetimes ago, the Christ was begotten of the Father.
Through practice in many lifetimes, He has eradicated all sins and sinful nature, and fully restored divinity and spirituality.
The full divinity and spirituality of the Christ were not made, so He was not made.
The reason why it can be explained in this way is because there are many lifetimes.
Without many lifetimes, there’s no way to explain “begotten, not made”.
Many lifetimes after being begotten, eventually the Christ was not made.
Without “many lifetimes”, “begotten” and “made” would be the same.
So this explanation is at least understandable in theory.

@@anyarasan8529 It does not contradict anything in the Torah which are the first books written by the earliest prophets. God is clearly stated as someone who loves his creation especially humans. Therefore, it makes sense that he would become a man in order to suffer what we suffered because of the sin of Adam and prove to us that we can overcome both the temptations of sin and death by resurrecting and ultimately died for our sins because while God is love he is also Just.
Furthermore brother, when God becomes human he doesn't deform. His divine essence does not change just as the spirit given to us by God doesn't change but our bodies do change and decompose when we die. Our spirits are ever living. they will either exist eternally with God in heaven or suffer for in eternity in hell.

*Paul makes it clear ... the one God out of many gods and many lords does not include the Son and or the Holy Spirit. The one God to worship is the Father*
Here is how I intepret it;
When you dream about something, you are god of the world inside your dream, because the trees, the rocks, the mountains, the people you see etc. are all a product of your mind, your mind being the spirit. Everything seen and the person you are in the dream being the son, you dreaming up all of that being the father, and your consciousness experiencing the dream being the spirit.
That's how god created everything, and that's how the trinity is true. God is the mind that was before everything else. Despite what scientists claims that the mind comes from matter, it's the other way around - the mind created the matter. That mind is what we call god. Just like your dreams when you sleep is the product of "your" mind, everything you today can see and feel through all your senses are the product of THE mind we call GOD. The mind is the creator of all reality, thus the father.The mind also is the things it created just like you are your dreams, thus the son. And finally, without the mind being omnipotent and experiencing the reality through everyone of us, including you, you would be nothing more than a biological machine. Thus the mind also is the holy spirit.

For instance, if you have a family with children and your father is still alive, you will fit the definition of being both a father (of your kids) and a son (of your father). So already then you are two things - a father, and a son.

Also if Jesus isn’t God, how to do you explain John the apostle writing that Jesus Christ is equal to God the Father? (John 5:18) For a created being to be equal to God is literally blasphemy. Every time Jesus says the Father is greater, this is in authority (see Philippians 2:7) NOT nature (as their same nature is revealed in John 1 and John 14:9).
Also, Jesus is referred to as the creator of all things, first in John 1, and also in Colossians 1:15-19. The firstborn of creation doesn’t mean first created, firstborn of creation shows his preeminence and sovereignty over all of creation. For the LORD created the universe (Psalm 102:25-27). And only the LORD created the universe, it is stated in Isaiah 44:24: Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
As a result, if Jesus created everything, and only the LORD created everything, this means the LORD (YHWH) is Jesus. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all YHWH.
There are many many more examples… like literally, YHWH is Lord of lords (Deut 10:17), and there is only one who is able to be called that. There is only one Lord of lords. But look, Jesus Christ is also called Lord of lords (revelation 17:14, 19:16)
The scriptures say only YHWH searches the hearts of men (1 Kings 8:39; Jeremiah 17:9-10), yet, Jesus Christ does this also (John 2:24-25; Rev. 2:18-23)
Hebrews 1:8 shows the Father calling the Son God.
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

If we review the various translations of Acts 20:28 we will right away see a problem: The translations are not consistent. Just pick out a handful and you’ll see.
Notice how Trinitarian scholars themselves have translated this passage:
the church of the Lord which he purchased with his own blood. (ASV).
the assembly of God, which he has purchased with the blood of his own. (Darby).
the church of God which he bought with the blood of his own Son. (JB).
the church of God which he obtained with the blood of his own Son. (RSV)
the church of God that he obtained with the blood of his own Son. (NET).
“Church of God” or “Church of the Lord”?
“Purchased with His own blood” of “purchased with the blood of His own Son”?
So many variants to choose from which one does the context support more?
The point is, it would be unwise to bet all your money on the KJV translation and run with it, there is far too many inconsistencies in the manuscripts.
Are you really insisting that these men “made God bleed and killed God and another God raised this God who was dead back to life”?
Acts 3:15: “You killed the source of life, whom God raised from the dead; we are witnesses of this.”
We cannot say for sure what Luke truly wrote, but one thing that is for sure is that the Son OF God bled and died, not God Himself. We at least should be confident that “God cannot bleed”. He is GOD!
John 3:16- “God GAVE His only begotten Son..”.
God did mot give God to die: God gave His SON. The context in the Scriptures does not support the Trinitarian view that God bled and died.
Notice how to even suggest that would break all these Scriptures:
1: God is NOT a man” (1 Samuel 15:29; Hosea 11:9; Numbers 23:19),
2: God is Spirit (John 4:24).
3: God is invisible (1 Timothy 1:17).
4: God is unapproachable (1 Timothy 6:16).

The same spoken word of God that created all things in the beginning is the same spoken word that Jesus spoke: for that word that Jesus spoke was God and that word that Jesus spoke was with God. For it was God’s own spoken word manifested THROUGH Jesus.
Send me one Scripture in all the Old Testament that says that a person called the Word is God the Son who was with God and created all things. I’ve asked many people many times and have not yet received one.
Isn’t that clearly saying something?
But I’m sure we both know there are many Scriptures that reveal God created all things with His own spoken word. “He commanded and all things were created, He alone spoke and the heavens and earth were made”.
That’s why I said Jesus is “the spoken word of God the Father made flesh”. And Jesus revealed God by speaking all of Gods words. That’s why the Baptist said: “He who is of God speaks the words OF God”.
Carefully consider this next point:
“HE was in the beginning with God and without HIM was not anything made that was made. In HIM was life…”
The Greek word “autos” is generally translated “he, him” but can also mean “it, this, the same”.
Notice how there is much more harmony in the overall witness of Scripture when it reads “In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. IT was with God in the beginning and all things were made through IT”.
All translations before the 1611 KJV rendered autos as “it”.
This is in perfect harmony with “God speaking/ commanding and creating all things” by His own spoke utterance. An “it” not another “he/ him”.
And “the word (it) was made flesh”.
Remember, Jesus spoke all the words the Father commanded him for the LORD has said “I will put my words in his mouth”.
“The word was made flesh” is Jesus. But Jesus is not the word. Jesus is the word OF God/ Jesus is the powerful word of God made flesh, not a second God person made flesh.
Have we forgotten the Scriptures that teach “God is not a man” and cannot be a man?:

[29] The Preeminent One of Israel does not go back on his word or change his mind, for he is not a human being who changes his mind.”
Hosea 11:9 CSB

Also, did not Paul call it worthless and vanity when the people of Lystra thought he and Barnabas were “the gods come down in human form”?:

[12] Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, because he was the chief speaker.

So why are we told to believe God can come down in human likeness? I can guarantee you Paul would be grieved as well!
Jesus is “not just a man” for he came directly from God supernaturally, but he is not God either. We cannot be so quick to break the first commandment when even Jesus did not. Neither was Jesus “100% God and 100% man” either. That saying alone breaks a lot of scriptures and is no where written in Scripture. Jesus was indeed perfect and obedient for God was with him.
Paul preached “the forgiveness of sins is preached through the man Christ Jesus” (Acts 13:38). Paul did not say “through God the Son Jesus or the God/man Jesus”.
Paul also said this is the knowledge of the truth God desires all of us to come to accept:

[3] This is good, and it pleases God our Savior, [4] who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
[5] For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,
I feel many would call the apostles heretics if they heard them preaching in the streets today the way they preached in the book of Acts!
Again what John is saying in his prologue (John 1:1-18) is the same spoken word of God that created all things in the beginning is the same spoken word that Jesus spoke: for that word that Jesus spoke was God and that word that Jesus spoke was with God. For it was God’s own spoken word manifested through Jesus.
John wrote his gospel for me and you to believe that Jesus is the Messiah. The Son OF God. Not that Jesus is “God the Son” (John 20:31)
Notice how Peter actually beautifully explains John 1:1/18; “in the beginning was the word”.
The KJV actually puts it nicely and more clearly:

- The words and works Jesus did from the Father is how the Son revealed/ manifested the Father. For “God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost/ was with him.”

Notice the context:
- John 5:18. The Jews claim “because Jesus said God was his Father, he made himself equal with God.”
- John 5:19: Jesus explains why he is NOT EQUAL to God: Jesus said “The Son can do nothing of himself, he does only what he see the Father do.”
- John 5:26-27: Jesus reveals that Father GAVE Jesus authority to have life in himself and to give life.
- John 5:30: Jesus said “I can of my own self do nothing, but seek only to do the Will of the Father.”
- John 5:43: Jesus said “he has come in his Fathers name.
Notice Jesus’ immediate response: “the Son can do NOTHING of himself/ of his own initiative”, “I can of my own self do nothing”, “the Father GAVE Jesus authority to have life in himself”.
Jesus’ response was to directly counter the false accusation from the Jews that he claimed to be equal with God. This is very clear if we read the passage honestly; Jesus did not affirm that he was claiming equality with God, to do so would be to break the Shema.
Jesus coming in his fathers name means he came under the authority of his Father; therefore Jesus was given authority to do and say everything he said and did. Because it all comes FROM the Father. For Jesus is representing the Father.
Jesus was not claiming to be equal with the Father. It was a false accusation from the Jews.
Note: even the Pharisees called God their Father in John 8:41:

[41] You're doing what your father does." "We weren't born of sexual immorality," they said. "We have one Father-God."
Are the Pharisees equal to God too because, JUST LIKE JESUS, they said God was their Father? Certainly not!
This reveals the hypocrisy of the Pharisees and it reveals that the accusation that “Jesus made himself equal to God” is clearly false. What we see here is the Jews finding any excuse to murder Jesus.
Other reasons why Jesus is not equal to God:
The Father is greater the Jesus:

The head of Christ is God:
2 Corinthians 11:3 KJV
[3] But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
These passages make it impossible for Jesus to be co-equal with God. Please consider how in Jesus’ own response he is telling the Jews he is in no way claiming to be co-equal with God the Father. The very opposite!

Carefully consider Peters words. For Peter explains John 14:9 just as Jesus explained it!

Compare that with John 14:10:
“The words I speak to you I do not speak on my own. THE FATHER abiding in me HE DOES THE WORKS”.
The passage is not claiming Jesus is of the same nature as the Father, that he is God too. The passages is testifying what God did through His Son Jesus.

Without many lifetimes, there’s no way to explain “begotten, not made”.
Many lifetimes after being begotten, eventually the Christ was not made.
Without “many lifetimes”, “begotten” and “made” would be the same.
So this explanation is at least understandable in theory.

And Sara reached forth her hand and partook of the flowers, and they were exceedingly sweet in her mouth, but in her belly they became bitter and she was wont to die because of them. And the thorns of the bush began to prick her and cause her pain, evensomuch that she could not bear to remain in the flower bush any longer.
37 And the seven stars that were in the heavens descended upon her and lifted her up out of the bush and took her into the heavens with them.
38 And it came to pass that after Elizabeth had dreamed this dream, she hurried to the house of Jacob and told all these things unto Sara. But Sara did not understand the meaning of the dream.
39 And it came to pass that Elizabeth kept this dream in her heart, until the next night, when she was given the interpretation of the dream by an angel of God.
40 And the angel spake unto her, saying: Behold, the aunt of thy husband shall conceive and bring forth a daughter. And she shall be the mother of the Christ. 57 And Zacharias pled with Sara that she should move back to Jerusalem and have a place in his house where he could protect her and Mary. But Sara would not leave the place in the wilderness where she had buried her husband and her sons.
58 And it came to pass that Zacharias sent his sons to watch over Sara and Mary from time to time and assure their safety. And they carried provisions unto them; yea, in everything that they needed, Zacharias provided for them.
60 And Joseph fell in love with Mary and was wont to marry her. For Mary was exceedingly beautiful and had reached the age of the pinnacle of her flesh, even eighteen years old, when Joseph became desirous to marry her.

(1 Chronicles 29:23) so jerusalem was a symbol of Gods rulership right? This "trampling on by the nations happened in 607 bce when Jerusalem was conquered by the Babylonians, God's throne became vacant and the line of kings that descended from David had been interrupted (you can read this at 2 kings 25:1-26) now this trampling wouldn't go on forever... Ezekiel said regarding Jerusalem’s last king, Zedekiah: “Remove the turban, and take off the crown. . . . It will not belong to anyone until the one who has the legal right comes, and I will give it to him.” (the person saying "I" is God) (Ezekiel 21:26, 27) “The one who has the legal right” to the Davidic crown is Christ Jesus. He wasn't handing "himself the kingdom back and forth to himself" at different times in history he actually handed it over to his actually literal son then his son gives it back to him once it's all said and done.

Jesus earned his right to rule over his father's kingdom right? He did what Adam was unable to do, he showed that a perfect man with free will can remain loyal to God he fulfilled all the prophecies that were written about him hundreds of years before he was born on earth and he accomplished what he was sent here to accomplish. He bought back mankind's opportunity to live forever with his own life and established Christianity which enables all of us the opportunity to have a relationship with the sovereign ruler of the universe, God. *A.* I would begin by pointing out that the trinity does not imply that the persons of the godhead are the same person(s), but moreso, that each person, is distinguished as an individual person and who are all wholly, and fully GOD.
*Q.* Isn't Jerusalem a symbol of God's rulership?
*A.* Yes it is
*A.* If God and Jesus are the same person, why are there significant scriptures in the Bible that show Jesus is given authority and rulership of a kingdom from his father?
*A.* I personally could not answer this, as do not adhere-to, or believe-in the trinity doctrine myself - though in my experience, most trinitarians with sufficient knowledge of scripture, will adhere to the notion that there are roles within the godhead, and moreso, that Jesus' own role as the son, is(or was) progressive, in-that He would step-down from being GOD, to come to earth as a human, then return to heaven after being resurrected, to receive the keys to the Kingdom(so-to-speak).
That being said, I would also add that in all of my own years of discussion on this topic with people, that I could count on my hand, the number of times that I've encountered someone with sufficient knowledge of the doctrine, as with scripture, from which to answer such questions, as most people tend to make it up as they go alone type thing, at this level of reasoning - here again, these are my own personal observations and in now way, intended as a generalization of trinitarians as a whole.

TRINITY
Jesus said God is Will, Wisdom and Love. The Father is the Amighty God or the God of Force and the Holy Breath is the Wisdom God or the God of Thought the counterpart of the the Father God and the begotten Son is Love , the Love of God or the Universal Love which men called Christ. Each of the 3 has his/her domain.
Isn't it more like the Father is Creation, Holy Spirit is Force and the Son is Love. As far as I'm concerned all persons of God embody some form of Wisdom. The Wisdom of the Father is Truth (Source), while the Holy Spirit inspires us (Inspiration) and the Son informs us (Word).
I kind of like to explain the Trinity with the example of our body - while every bodypart is connected to us, they all have different purposes and are not equal in each other, yet at the same time aren't inferior to each other either (since all are important for their designated tasks). I would compare the Father to the Head (since he is Authority), the Holy Spirit would be the Hands (because God executes Work with the Holy Spirit) and the Son would be the Feet (as he stood on Earth with us, in our own shape and makes himself tangible for us Humans -> literally 'down to earth').

While your argument in pro of the Trinity Doctrine is complelling, it's fundamentally flawed. Here is why
1)You claim the bible teaches God is 3 co-existing eternal persons but offer no scriptural references and/or scriptural support which is in utter contrast with how early Christian thought and prove scriptural concepts, doctrines and teachings in early Christianity, "So according to Paul’s custom he went inside to them, and for three sabbaths he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving by references.....” Acts 17:2-3. You claim bible teaches God is 3, but that is false. Look what it does teach, "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one." Deut 6:4. There is no reference to the word TRINITY and neither can it be found in the entire bible. While you are zelous and I admire it, your "zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God." There is only one God , not 3 the word trinity is not in the bible.
Then why is Elohim plural? Why are plural pronouns like us used throughout the Bible in reference to God? John 1 makes clear that "the Word" is both with God and is God. John 4:16 refers to each as different. Take Matthew 3:16-17. Is God only talking to Himself? Obviously not. The Bible makes clear that the three persons exist and are distinct, but also that they are all one God. The three do exist. You are the one who is speaking contrary to he Bible here.

The first problem with Trinitarian and Modelist "doctrines" is that man does not have any authority to "clarify" what neither The Lord nor His Father nor The Spirit of God nor The Apostles have explicitly mentioned. Only The Lord lays doctrine; not The Apostles, no one else! The doctrines of The Lord that are required for our salvation are EXPLICITY mentioned without ambiguity, without need for inference or deduction:

2. That He died for our sins and rose demonstrating power over death
