A Bothy night in the Cairngorms

- A weekend in the newly renovated Red House amongst the Cairngorm mountains, with my good friend Dave (I nicknamed him 'Mr T' many years ago).
I have no idea what the red dress/cleavage thing was all about, but thought it amusing to listen to Mr T & Rose's discussion. Rose is Mr T's lovely Australian lady friend, and it's been too long since she has visited Europe, though Dave does spend the winter months with her in Perth.
Thanks Mr T, for a fun packed weekend, and I hope your toes were not too bruised. If so take solace in the fact that I enjoyed the dancing anyway 😆 And before anyone notices, I’m aware that the music was Rhumba, not Tango as at the start if the video!

I hope the two of you don't mind me stealing the whisky gag. After watching Jonas, Mr T did realise that he had done the 'aaaaahhhh!' in the wrong sequence, but I thought he made an excellent job of it. I hope it meets with your approval 😂

Now that's a 5 star Bothy if ever I saw one Sue. Deserved a good walk in and good company. Hats off to Dave for his energy and adventurism. I imagine when the couple turned up the conversation was alive with daring do. Well, great hike out - red house and red noses with a view.

Mr T, you are one impressive being! And so are you ofc Sue 😊 What a beautiful, majestic area and the red house was so cute. Though I thought your decision to sleep in the tent was a good one. The dog was adorable though!! and those cyclists were really cool but your dancing was the most brilliant hahaha made me smile so much! I had a wonderful time with you two, and I got my weekly dose of stunning views to say the least!!

Good trip Sue. Some great filming in there. Well done you both! New bothy looks brilliant, I remember cycling along with Sofie 2,5 years ago and it was still a ruin.. Thanks for mentioning me, glad my movies make somebody happy. Cheers Jonas

@@mickjames1609 wanting to watch more is music to my ears.. thank you 😉 The videos have got a bit better over the last year but the adventures remain. I can appreciate how health problems can intervene (arthritis in my case, but that can be managed to some extent). I hope your health issues can be managed, improved, or even eliminated, in the meantime I’m very happy if you enjoy my videos. Life can be a real challenge at times but we are surrounded by a lovely landscape. Very best wishes, Sue 😊

Morning Sue! Thanks for showing us around the Red House. Absolute luxury and some nice flat ground to pitch on 🏕Could well be my base for the southern Cairngorms. Doubt we'll be getting weather like that this weekend but looking forward to it anyway. TTFN 🥃🥃
Hey Ian! Haven’t dared look at the forecast yet, guess I’ll be leaving the wetsuit at home 😂 It’s a fantastic bothy, one of the best I’ve seen… long may it remain so! I’ll be on the hunt for a decent malt during lunch break.. 🤔

Nice one , the last time i was at the red house it was just a shell without a floor , we camped outside it . But nice to see what a great job the MBA have done ..Enjoyed that ..I'll need to revisit with my dogs sometime ...cheers Stevie .
