I love the Bothies ! I wish someone would create a series on all the Bothys, they are so interesting and historic, I’d love to know who used to live in them and what their lives were like etc, could you and the stripy hat guy do a long bothy series for us ? Old 🦉 Owl alaya

You could do buddy ..Unfortunately the MBA would probably hear about it and boot you out after a few days 😂..On serious note I normally take a tent for back up incase the sleeping areas are full..Everybody’s welcome though even in bad weather 😁👍..There well worth a visit though mate..If your lucky and the company’s good ..It’s can turn out a great party 😁👍
The first time I did the bothy It was in the dark and it was surprisingly easy. " heed doon arse up" and we where there within 40 mins. This was in before the fire. We where there a year after the fire and it was a much better bothy. Cleaner and a better lay out.

I suggest that you join the MBA and go to your local area meeting
Rebuilt by the Mountain Bothies Association in 2013, following a fire which destroyed everything except the stone walls.
