Thanks for those nice tips! Here's a suggestion for future videos: I am a classical guitar player (at base), and moved to jazz 2-3 years ago, but I still play lots of classical stuff. I don't play in a band, only by myself. I'd like to know if it's possible to include jazz riffs into classical songs? Pick any "easy" classical classics (pun intended!), and turn it into a jazzy classical feeling song. I don't know where to start... I'm sure you have tons of ideas 😊
As a novice learning jazz guitar as a retirement project, this is very good stuff to build upon. Thanks.
Thanks John. Good luck with your project!
I think unlike harmonic variation as the better choice, but all of these are necessary. Thanks Jamie!
Thanks Joe. Glad you enjoyed the lesson!
Nice little lick! Thanks for the tips!!
Thanks Jamie. Very helpful😊
Cheers Robert!
For the harmonic thing - I guess we change 3rds / 7ths to what the new chord is? Thanks
Exactly!

I was one of your first subscribers. May 2013 . Got the date from my email history.
That's some dedication to hearing my northern accent ramble on about jazz. Thank you for the support!
