Thanks for showing us the build! I'm considering this chassis, but the Fazer rally may win out. Both solid options, just the latter is RTR.
Yerhh fully understand. I would probably go with the Fazer if I did'nt enough building them as much.
@FullOnRC I ended up with the fazer, and cant wait to run it tonight! And I can always build one of these beauties down the road 👍
Nice on Paul 👍👍
Nice one Tommy. Are you at Bury tomorrow. If so see you then.
@@FullOnRC no mate, not well 😡
Get well soon pal. @@tommytansley1097
Amazing kit this one…. Pre ordered earlier in the year and so pleased with how it looks… shock upgrade is a must as kit are awful but sport tuned just livens it right up 😃
Love the videos keep em going!!
Cheers Pete. I just bought the Core RC 15 turn to see how that is. Thanks for tuning in. How did you find the stickers on this one?
@@FullOnRC stickers were difficult to be honest had to line them up just right…. One small mistake but can barely see it…
@@FullOnRCalso did a rally cockpit that am happy with too and LEDs but all a bit of a challenge to get it all in together…. Still messing about with it at the mo😅ment
@@petebates8532 Awesome. Share a picture with us when it is done.
Hi, thanks for posting this video. I just bought this kit and I've no previous experience with RC cars (although lots of experience with Mk2 golfs!). Could you send a link to shocks that you fitted or provide the model number. Many thanks. David
Yerhh not a problem. You want Tamiya CVA Super Mini Shock Unit Set. You can get them in sets of two or four, Four is better. Hope that helps. Easy to find on Ebay.
Its a great looking body, its not a bad rear end, but for me its the 3dr cossie that has the best looking bum 😁
Yerhh my Boss had a 3 door cossie. Iconic car. I think the mk1 escorts are also a nice rear too. Always a fan of the Escort and Orion up till the Mk4 Escort, then they got plastic and horrible after that.
@@FullOnRC yeah the late 90’s was the last of the decent car desighns. After that it was pretty much copy and paste 😂
Hello mate, I’m about to order this but I’m going to make it look like mine and paint it Oak Green, can you make it sit lower on the shocks ?
Yerhh the body can come down a bit. Also by not adding spring tension adjusters to the shocks. Mine has about 2mm on the rear and close to 1mm on the front. I think adding M05 slick tyres will you allow to drop it a lot due to being less tread for the body to get caught on compared to these rally tyres. You can also set the car up for high or low settings through the hubs etc. Never tried it myself as I run mine and wouldn't want tires rubbing on the inner wheel arches and taking the paint off. I will be doing a live video on the 3rd of January so pop in and I will show you if it helps. Cheers.
@@FullOnRC awesome mate thanks for the detailed reply I really appreciate it. I am going to order the shocks as well that you mentioned to another guy in the comments.
1 more question, would a 1/12 M chassis fit on a 1/10 ?
@@i4Detailing Cheers. I don't think so and i don't have one to try. check the wheelbase etc
i have three of these mf-01 cars. my escort is done in the Cossack Hairspray livery.
Bet that looks stunning. I put my escort body on the M06 Chassis. Lot of fun rear wheel drive. Bit of a handful with a 4000kv motor in the back LOL.
At 2:43 you show the shell with a bunch of material to cut off, and later you cut to it already done and stickered. I wanted to see how difficult it was to cut. :(
Sorry about that. Body is really easy a lot of straight lines. Viewers don't tend to watch the body work side of videos.
@@FullOnRC No worries, it must be frustrating to put a bunch of work into something people don't watch. Do you just use an xacto or some other tool?
