Epic Mickey is such and underappreciated gem. So glad for the opportunity for more people to play it. I loved all the games from Rare and so glad to see a sequel to Endless Ocean plus Another Crab's Treasure looks great. Also loved Pepper Grinder and Penny's Big Breakaway. Great reveals Nintendo! So glad I own a Switch. Actually there I still have a ton of back log games to play. The Switch will continue to see a lot of use in my family.
@@SanativeSparrow You are not wrong especially in this economy. I still have the original and part 2 for my Nintendo Wii and I also have part 2 for my Xbox 360 which is BC with my Xbox One X. I prefer the Wii version because of the controls. It will be interesting to see how the controls are handled on the Switch.

As someone who grew up with the 2000s era of Nintendo with the GameCube,GBA,DS,and Wii. It totally felt like previews from the demo disc that came as a bonus from a high profile game
Epic Mickey and especially Endless Ocean were such blasts to the past. I haven't heard Endless Ocean in forever. It was just some game that one of my relatives got me for the Wii when I was younger and never really played. Absolutely crazy.
Endless Ocean was a surprisingly good game actually. I remember getting it as a gift from my uncle who used to scuba dive a lot. I got into it thinking it was just some third party shovelware, but the marine encyclopedia, sotryline and "quests" are actually pretty fleshed out and interesting enough to last up to 40 hours. It's also full of secrets and easter eggs, which I appreciated.
endless ocean was so fun and peaceful, I especially loved that you could have dolphin companions to train and play with that join you on your dives and point out smaller critters or treasures
World of Goo 2 is releasing much sooner than I expected, so excited, first game was one of the best WiiWare titles. AND they're bringing back 4-player co-op! (The Switch version of the first game lacked that, only went up to 2 players).

Yeah I was confused seeing Pocket Jockey here and them not annoumcing gf. The 3ds one dropped during an actual nintendo direct with all the other first parties so it definitely seems odd
Instead of wasting time that they don't have on stuff like this jockey game they should be putting all their resources on pokemon. At the same time they should demand more time to work on the games. I don't care if it messes up TPC and nintendo's schedule they can go screw themselves for what they did to the franchise.
seeing a new endless ocean game actually brought a tear to me eye. i grew up with the endless ocean games and they were beautiful. seeing that ui and hearing those sound effects brought back so much nostalgia.

@jamesolszewski3782 That's not apples to apples. South Park isn't being provided directly by Nintendo as a part of their NSO Expansion package. Nintendo has become reasonably hands-off as far as censorship in the games that appear on the Switch. But that doesn't mean they're actually OFFERING them.
Banjo Tooie should def come out this year considering the gap between banjo kazooie and tooie is 2 years, 2 gap between 2022 which is when kazooie came out then now 2024 should have tooie!

I only want Rare Replay for the Viva Pinata games. You have to keep in mind that porting the collection isn't that simple, since even though Replay was on XbOne, almost all of the games took the easy way out and ran on BackCompat exclusively.

Another Crab's Treasure looks right up my alley. I love games like that where you can pick up something from the environment and suddenly have new abilities to work with until you find another.
I've been following the devs since their last game hit my radar, and judging by how you described it here I think you would enjoy Going Under! It has a botw type weapon durability system where you pick things up to fight, and it's a rogue like. If you like/are excited for another crabs treasure you'll love going under!
I still have Fantasy Life on 3DS, it's 1 of my favourite games too. Fantasy Life is the cutest game ever and i'm so glad Fantasy Life 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch! 😊😮
As happy as I am to see Endless Ocean Luminous, a procedurally-generated online game is an...interesting direction to go. I worry about what that will mean for the game's story and optional content. Blue World was full of cool sidequests and mysteries to solve, and I'm having a hard time envisioning how that'll work here. Also good luck filling out the Encyclopedia if the fish you encounter is always random.
Our beloved endless ocean. Blue world even dethrones all comers to this day. Take a back seat absu & subnautica. Endless ocean is where it's at... Sadly it could possibly be "but this emote for $3" or all sorts of modern crap. These undersea worlds need hand crafted and made. I'm excited but yet deeply concerned
It's not a purely online game it just has online features. The older games also had online features just like this but it was much more limited cause y'know... Wii.. my guess is they really wanna show it off cause it was one of fans biggest wants in the old games
I'm more a fan of the first game, personally. No real story, not a buncha characters to keep track of, just you, a boat, a single partner, and the ocean. This game looks like it'll be a lot like that, just with friends this time. I'm VERY excited.
I never was expecting them to go back to their Endless Ocean IP. The first two are my favorite games for the Wii. Doing one map that’s randomly generated is a little disappointing given the many seas and even a fresh water river you could visit in Blue World. Based on what was shown it seems like the online functionality is the main draw of the game. It’s cool that they’re revisiting the series since imo Endless Ocean and Blue World are the best scuba diving games to this day. But it doesn’t seem like this one will have much story content. But who knows, definitely took me by surprise though. At the very least maybe in the future they’ll port over the first two games to switch. My only problem is Nintendo being Nintendo. Why do this so late in the system’s life span?

i mean, to be fair, an official translation probably won't be developed unless Shigesato Itoi is fully involved in it, and he is kinda busy nowadays with his company Hobonichi. I don't think they'd use the fan translation, that would be kinda messy and unprofessional, and also a bit pointless.

Yah, being able to skip through things that don't particularly interest your specific taste is definitely nice. Some of these trailers can seem so long when you literally have zero interest in the content, so skipping through is really nice.
There *was* Gundam Evo and Battle Op 2, but one wasn't all that great and the other is barely playable. Though the fact that Bandai recognized it wasn't the Breaker franchise that failed but their own mishandling of New is nothing short of a miracle, imo. They've been known to fumble the ball.. So often, so its nice to see them actually release what looks like a proper sequel
Based on what I can tell from the UI, it seems likely they do! I don't see any "level up" shenanigans, none of the EX moves appear to be locked for any reason, and it looks like Option Equipment is back (and assigned to shoulder/trigger+face button instead of only Circle/A, so that should feel good) with all eight slots available even!

It's Ogre Battle! I mean, it's not, but it seems like a spiritual successor with versy similar systems. Tactics Ogre is fine, but I always loved Ogre Battle better. I'm so hyped for this.

As happy as I am to see Endless Ocean Luminous, a procedurally-generated online game is an...interesting direction to go. I worry about what that will mean for the game's story and optional content. Blue World was full of cool sidequests and mysteries to solve, and I'm having a hard time envisioning how that'll work here. Also good luck filling out the Encyclopedia if the fish you encounter is always random.

It's not a purely online game it just has online features. The older games also had online features just like this but it was much more limited cause y'know... Wii.. my guess is they really wanna show it off cause it was one of fans biggest wants in the old games
I'm more a fan of the first game, personally. No real story, not a buncha characters to keep track of, just you, a boat, a single partner, and the ocean.
This game looks like it'll be a lot like that, just with friends this time. I'm VERY excited.
I never was expecting them to go back to their Endless Ocean IP. The first two are my favorite games for the Wii.
Doing one map that’s randomly generated is a little disappointing given the many seas and even a fresh water river you could visit in Blue World.
Based on what was shown it seems like the online functionality is the main draw of the game. It’s cool that they’re revisiting the series since imo Endless Ocean and Blue World are the best scuba diving games to this day. But it doesn’t seem like this one will have much story content.
But who knows, definitely took me by surprise though. At the very least maybe in the future they’ll port over the first two games to switch.
My only problem is Nintendo being Nintendo. Why do this so late in the system’s life span?

Yah, being able to skip through things that don't particularly interest your specific taste is definitely nice. Some of these trailers can seem so long when you literally have zero interest in the content, so skipping through is really nice.

There *was* Gundam Evo and Battle Op 2, but one wasn't all that great and the other is barely playable. Though the fact that Bandai recognized it wasn't the Breaker franchise that failed but their own mishandling of New is nothing short of a miracle, imo. They've been known to fumble the ball.. So often, so its nice to see them actually release what looks like a proper sequel
Let's hope that this time the Gundam Breaker 4 devs have their heads screwed on straight. Unlike New Gundam Breaker. xD
Based on what I can tell from the UI, it seems likely they do! I don't see any "level up" shenanigans, none of the EX moves appear to be locked for any reason, and it looks like Option Equipment is back (and assigned to shoulder/trigger+face button instead of only Circle/A, so that should feel good) with all eight slots available even!
