this is great, i love it when i step into a room and bring in the energy, you can always tells right when you walk into a room. sometimes employees will be sitting around talking about weather or gossiping, then with your presence everyone steps it up and becomes productive

Have bought my share of Cardone material, made six figures last year selling ag/turf equipment using Cardone techniques. However I think Grant is such a celebrity in the car biz, that it is a warm call when Grant calls these dealers. Would like to see Grant cold call some folks who never heard of him in a different industry. Would think the technique may be different, may help more folks.

exactly what i was thinking....these aren't cold cold calls. i would like to see striaght up cold calls. probably can't video it because real cold calling you get someone to talk to maybe a handful of dials in every 100. that's just getting a live person.

Grant -these calls were all referrals - I'd love to see a straight cold call right out of the box.. from pitch to to trigger pull and close... I've been insurance sales for a long time.. the same old I can save you money bullshit doesnt work.

If they are not expecting your call, It is a cold call
closing on the first call is rare thats why you call them a second time , gather info on the first call leave it as you will call them back if something comes up or what ever - call back and close

Tip 1: Get a call back by --- Play-shipping a package to provoke a call back...
Tip 2: Who do you know that I can call today and do a deal with? I know you want me to do well and be successful.
Tip 3: By the way how many of those quote books do you want? I have them on sale right now. (cross selling product)
Tip 4: Always LEAVE a message...
Tip 5: Always REVIEW contract/agreement terms... no surprises and creating the illusion (or reality) of transparency and straight-forwardness
Tip 6: Ask them how they justify the expense of your service, basically making "rationalize" the person out loud and to themselves in front of you (mental programming)
Tip 7: Always ask/check for influencers and buy-ins & dm's
Tip 8: BE THE BOSS - get your skills up
Tip 9: INCREASE VOLUME OF CALLS....
Tip 10: LEAVE THE NUMBER ON THE VM THAT YOU'RE CALLING FROM... don't give them more work to do or add to their confusion

I dont get why a lot of people say: DONT LEAVE VOICEMAILS. Never made sense to me. I agree, dont leave the same message every single day and pester the client. However, like Grant says get your Skills right! If you leave a good voicemail, you at least have a 1% chance of someone calling you back. If not, if you left a good message they know who you are and you can leave them with a secondary action (check your email/Linkedin). If you just call over and over and dont leave a VM, no one knows you! Awesome video.

I'm not sure that would work here in ireland.
1) Most people would take exception to being called "man", and this would be seen as being overfamiliar.
2) If a message was left for you saying "call me back or we will ship today", then you realise that this was just a ruse to call you back, you would feel a bit of a fool. All trust would be broken from the start and you would not want to do business with the sort of person that would make you look like a fool.
But the point about raising your skills reduces your fears is certainly true and probably is valid for every career.
It works mostly for America, even English in Britain, Ireland and USA + Canada is different

If I had somebody cold call me and left a message like that, I would for sure call back. It's different/funny and would make me curious about what he has to say.
