The Beauty of Sale & Kraft Work

- Sale role in Part 5 isn't major but he still manages to possess one of the most powerful stands in the series and test the skill of Bruno's loyal gunman Guido Mista which resulted in one of the coolest opening fights in the series. Makes me wonder what might have happened if Sale and Zucchero got their hands on the treasure and had to face off against La Squadra.

Shame what his barber did to his head though
Indeed
Got nuffin' on Squalo's Dragon Fruit bedhead situation
“hey barber, make my head look like a crab”
his barber tried to give him dreads, but it went wrong like really wrong.
shiiiiit i think it’s fye
The part where he used rocks as steps was fucking sick
Yea that was pretty cool
the blackmore fight reminded me of that moment
Theory: Sale's Barber is also Joshu's Barber.
Guy has been fuckin people's hair up in all known universes
@@babsbabsbabsbabs GREAT, now I want a spin off manga about a univerce-hopping barber.
Damn that’s why my hair always looking shitty
This is starting to sound it could be the work of an enemy stand user
A man whose Stand gives people bad haircuts and then makes them like said haircut, and can also do D4C shit, but the user onky uses it to fuck up alternate universes.
Salt is also used as a preservative, and his stand ability can "preserve" an object in space. Idk, just a thought. I didn't really word it very well
You did fine.
I get what you mean
Yeah you were right you didn’t word it well. You stretched the meaning of “preserve” Your use of it does make sense
Close enough.
@@trabiasblagmon5180 He used it correctly. He worded it well. You're just a jackass.
He was a perfect opponent for Mista's sex pistols. He relies on influencing the movement of his bullets, while Craftwork can negate that. Making Mista have to think outside of the box.
Does that mean my brain is in the box now?!
Lol sorry, I got the text wrong haha
Eee rrr
Thirdy Guy Productions MAYBE I THINK BETTER IN THERE
funny because sex pistols is probably the only stand that could beat it outside of the time and erasure stands
He's one of the more underrated stand users
Bruh
You can’t imagine how frustrated I was when they showed him in Purple Haze Feedback only to kill him.
I liked his ability very much, but not his character, same with Giorno, but far stronger
Feedback ain’t canon. Mista put one through his dome piece. Busted that niccuh’s blood brain barrier wide tf open
I didn’t even know his name 😰😰
Ah yes my favourite stand and class in school. A R T S A N D C R A F T S
He can make some nice macaroni necklaces.
But it's Kraft work / Kurafuto Waaku
Tfw you punch a kid with ur stand and his sword stand, [NO U] reflects 70% of the damage and rips out ur heart
Arman Goli
Can we not talk about Vittorio? I’d rather talk about Angelica
All Along the Watchtower - [NO U REQUIEM]
Great vid, one additional detail that I love is that the bands name Kraftwerk is actually the german word for Power Plant. So Sales stand is, in a way, named after a facility dedicated to controlling energy, which is neat!
This dude could tap a diamond for an hour and nuke/railgun a building
He could also build up energy with machines like a piston
he can create the fastest wheel to ever exist
Probably be able to shoot kars down with that
He needs to tap for precision but for AOE he can just go crazy and hit the shit out of the object.
He could tap a person for an hour & destroy several walls
Also, salt was primarily used for the preservation of foods, which could be a nod to his main usage of his ability, freezing things in place and preserving their kinetic energy.
He’s so underrated and his stand ability is so cool .
fortunately, Breath of the Wild lets you use Craftwork to your heart's content
Kraftwerk is so overpowered having impressive speed and precision. Sale is just a cocky turd so that's why he lost to mista
@@Absenteeee Breath of the Wild have The World or Kraftwerk.
Tears of The Kingdom have Bite Za Dusto.
Kraftwerk is one of the most underrated stands ever. It's just so cool. Glad you made this video
Wouldn't sale just... win against most melee stands? I mean imagine GE striking sale, I mean sure it hurts but not GE's hand is fixed, leaving Giorno in a shit position for the rest of an easy fight for the dude that can flick rocks at the speed of light
@@runtergerutscht4401 he could've just run over to mista and beat him to death and mista wouldn't have been able to do anything. Kraftwerk is honestly busted
@@noon5898 Considering he could du crazy shit like single-handedly launch a spaceship using his fingers or (insert drum roll here)
Just fixate an object so that the earth moves away from it thus bringing it to space witgout the risks of a launch sequence.
Also it's a REALLY good thing he isn't just the joker because, like some devil fruits in one piece, this can easily kill humanity.
Imagine him amd a group of maniac people fixing EARTH. He wouldn't be able to shift earth's course around the sun because that would require ludicrous amounts of force, but he coud EASILY stop earth's movement around the sun, fixating it relative to the sun. Do this in the deepest winter and it'll stay like that forever, everyone freezes / starves while he chills thw few months it takes for humanity to die off in a bunker.
Do it in summer and the temperature will keep rising until the fucking oceans evaporate.
Or just halt earth's movement not relative to the sun but absolutely, have it nor move at all.
I'm sure this solar system does move, so after some time it just leaves earth behind, like kevin in home alone.
2:07 Yea his name his Massimo Volpe
jackson macpherson HA I get it!
I love this guy. His stand and ability are amazing, and he uses it in so many different and creative ways for such a short fight. The panel where the truck is driving up the mountain and Mista notices Sale standing menacingly midair is probably my favorite panel in the entire manga.
We need to find the third teammate, co-kaine.
All my life I have waited for the recognition of the power possessed by Mr Headcrab, my heart leapt when I saw him in SPH
His heart did as well.
“Motionless with respect to other objects.” In physics, this is called a Frame of Reference. This is a major aspect of his ability, given its heavy physics-related nature.
I don’t think he ever uses his ability to *completely* remove an object’s kinetic energy. That would be really weird, considering the Earth is moving as well.
Just wanna say, Salt is used as a preservative. Craftwerk's stand power is to keep things from moving, or in other words, to preserve things in the air. Just a thought.
Compared to Polpo, Zucchero, Joshu and Ciocolatta, Sale got a pretty decent haircut
I thought polpo had a dumb hat
I think Sale's hair is meant to invoke the image of spider legs. His ability is like a metaphysical spider web.
3:00- that’s what I noticed too with Purple Haze and King Crimson as well with that trait. Wrath seems to a major theme within Vento Aureo with Diavolo, Fugo and Ghiaccio being the most prominent characters associated with that particular emotion.
Honestly, Kraftwerk is a really cool stand that doesn't get enough attention.
Imagine if you locked someone's head in place and then pulled on the rest of the body. You could literally rip it clean off.
Or hell, you could use it to save people. Like suspending an entire crashing plain in midair or closing people's wounds
You could even stop a person's mind from thinking.
Mista would've been dead if Sale just punched him and locked his head out of the truck.
His hair so bad Josuke friggin laughed to death from just seeing him
What a hypocrite
@@lizard_man4379 what the fuck did you say about him and his hair?
That’s why Josuke wasn’t in part 5.
Kraft work has so much potential when I first saw it I was like... Ah a new favorite has appeared
I love how his stand is like the kinesis power in Breath if the Wild, right down to changing the direction of accelerated objects depending on where you hit them.
I guess the BotW devs read Part 5
"Mista has a more laid back personality and treats the fight more calmly."
Mista in the fight: "DON'T MOVE A MUSCLE BITCH! I'M NOT GONNA MISS AGAIN!"
who said that line?
My head Canon is that he was promoted because it seems like he deserves it and Giorno doesn't seem like he would punish him when he knows he was just following orders plus he would know his potentule of him from mista
8:47 That's true of half the Part 5 cast, not just Sale.
Except for Tiziano
His hair looks cool
One of my Favorite stands and characters! Thank you for doing this!
I think something about Sale's name that may have been overlooked is that salt is one of the oldest preservatives in history. This obviously plays into Kraftwork's ability, preserving both the position and kinetic energy of the objects it affects.
best stand, i've been waiting for this day for years
Meti: Mista treats the fight very calmly.
/Proceeds to show Mista screaming " *DON'T MOVE A MUSCLE, BITCH!* " /
Fugo is the love child of sale and squalo.
Thank you for this video!
I actually like this character a lot, specially with Kaito Ishikawa voicing him
I love the depth of analysis you provide in these videos, dude. As a writer and a fan of JoJo, I super appreciate your work, dude!
His hair doesn't look that bad.
crab hair
It does
He wore a hat when he was with Mario and it looked fine with the hat but without it Jesus Christ he looks like a bootleg version of Squalo💀💀
@@cherrypopsicle6383 he was introduced before squalo
@@druhyndman6486 yes I know I was just saying (not mad)
His part time job is being an arts & craft salesman
Love you, Meti
Don’t forget about his twin brother discount
I like to believe purple haze is semi-canon, with sale surviving but still losing the fight.
Kraft Work has to be my favourite Stand, not because I actually like it that much but just becuase of an inside joke I had back in Junior year where we were on the bus one day and someone down front asked if I could chuck them a pen or something like that but then for some reason I thought if I tried to throw it forward the force of the bus going forward would repel the pen towards the back like I'd fixed it in relation to outside the bus, Craftwork powers!
His stand ability is really interesting, and he's also one of the few part 5 characters that doesn't die horribly so he's got that going for him as well. His fight was also pretty good, as he and mista were both in difficult positions and they both adapted to it
Can next the beauty of be about Emporio And his Stand burning Down The house
"White flavour powders"
**Martin Cabello III has joined the chat**
Kraft Work is easily my favourite stand from part 5
2:06 *processing*......... OH ITS COCAI-
I enjoy Kraft works ability, I love things based around moment, kinetic energy, speed, and friction
I'm glade you made this.Sale is one of my favorite minor characters from Vento Aureo.
The Beauty of when?
The beauty of High priestess
The Coke joke was good ngl, and I believe that since Zucchero has a snail haircut, Sale has a spider haircut
Salt is also something that was used to preserve food and keep them fresh. This could relate to his ability to freeze objects in place, if that connection makes any sense.
Thank you jesus for having someone finally pay attention to my favorite stand and yes I said favorite his stand is just so good not to op but not bad he could have won the fight if he used his stand to it's full potential.
One of my favorites stands
Thanks for doing this one. I've always viewed Kraft Work as a very underrated stand, and the idea of controlling kinetic energy was one that I find very interesting.
This guy does have a very powerful stand for one reason and one reason only: He has the perfect counter to the Spin from part 7.
Imagine Italian people watching the show and hearing: hey salt did you hear about the treasure
Yea we need to get it sugar
No one can beat Sale's 5 Minutes-Craft!
lmao
He is such great minor antagonist.
Sale is one of my favorite characters and hes so forgotten.
This was my favorite stand in part 5 when I just started watching part 5.
AW HECK YEA ONE OF MY FAV LPART 5 STANDS THANK DUDE
This is my favorite stand
Kraft Work is such an underated yet op stand
*_He sure is Salty_*
Sale is one of my favorites of the part 5 stands
The barber must've really hated him. Or maybe was plain lazy.
God I love these.
Underrated stand. One of my favorites.
Fucking love ya work keep up the good work🔥
favorite stand user in pt5
Honestly one of my favorite stands
Meti, are you planning to do a video on Zucchero and Soft Machine as well?
Honestly, one of my favorite part 5 stands.
Nice touhou alice music in the background

I guess you could say that Sale is a bit salty
So it only dawned on me to really question the battles that took place since Meti used animals as a way of understanding their design and i mighta made a connection. Now im not trying to steal or anything in terms of theories. I just see these theories and start to notice more details that could be coincidence. If anything im accenting or better yet just adding more to look into. Meti and so many other youtubers get the ball rolling for me to start really thinking about this as i have no idea where to statt. im sure it gets a little bit tough and exhausting. Glad we got people like Meti to get us started. These were a mix of what he told me and what i knew, thought and drew parallels to after watching
If anything Sale's hair style to me looks more like a spider in the manga, but thinking about it more, it looks more like an octopus and there are more parallels to be drawn from an octopus than spider. Also his name means salt. And because of how the body of an octopus reacts to salt, its a crazy contradiction of him. He whose name means salt and has an octopus haircut keeps something locked in place rather than cause spastic movements like soy sauce normally does to dead octopi. We also have how octopi generally hide well before striking and camouflaging. Hell he looked like the truck driver and fooled most of us. This is something im sure he taught Zucchero, since hes a bit slow like a snail. He would probably have to be shown what hes capable of, contrast to Keicho who didn't teach Okuyasu what he was capable of and as a result forced Okuyasu to have to learn what he could do with his stand off-screen. At least thats what i think for the brothers. Theres even the theme of both of Zucchero and Sale hiding and slipping into places they shouldnt, being sneaky boneless creatures and striking when a opponent is clueless or lets their guard down.
Now as for zucchero, and his somewhat snail design. He has to hide to his advantage and if he's brought out in the open, hes generally screwed. We also have the fact that most snails cant handle so much salt. land snails can hardly but some snails would survive if they're accustomed to it. Zucchero was like a land snail that got stuck out at sea and had no answers for in case the boat sank but destroying his shell, the ship. Theres also how a snail eats when taking in food. Generally a land snail is slow but those teeth man! Like kars boneblade! But if anything Zucchero is more of a cone snail. And that thing is terrifying. He even attacks like one, using not a harpoon like limb but instead his rapier and pulling said victim into the shell, the ship. Theres also how the venom of it actually paralyzes victims, as opposed to straight up kill, much like Zucchero puts people in suspended animation. Sadly i cant really see why Zucchero was the name chosen. The best idea i have is how Meti said it: salt brings out the best in something. Zucchero is thinking simple short term happiness like a child getting sugary sweets. While Sale is thinking more complex and long term whatll get a better result. Its one thing to add sugar to pastry. Its another to go a little further and think what could really change that dish. Maybe a little salt? Thinking about it like an adult. Now im not a 100% positive or sold on it. But im sure Meti can figure it out.
Lastly i know that polpo's name means octopus, but thats just makes this even more sound for me. Especily with how camoflauged himself. with this sea creature group of polpo, zucchero and sale being the shady, breaking thru the backdoor and hiding as an advantage, being a running theme for them in combat. And bad haircuts are a sad running theme for the trio. Lack there may be for Polpo or Zucchero. I swear i cant tell if thats a hat or hairwig on Zucchero, my friend upon seeing Polpo thought that was shigechi's father, and i just realized, we see that sale must have just gotten a bad haircut on that day, hence the cap and probably woulda used the money for a much better haircut.
This is such an underrated stand wich has amzing potential.
2:06 well yes and his full real name is Martin Cabello...
You just love the alliterations, dont you, Meti?
*sale walks into barber shop*
"Yo gimme that spider cut"
"Not you again"
Araki is a genius
I think his stand is extremely undervalued. Being able to make an object static specially relative to another has a ton of creative implications. You can kill any target instantly once they enter your range by tearing them apart. You can stop fast moving objects in their tracks, or make specific objects not suffer from any form of resistance. The potential is endless and really highlights how stupid Sale must have been (which does fit the first fight). At least in Purple Haze that potential is better realised, but even then it's not utilised that well.
It's only objects he himself has touched, but still, the applications are stupidly powerful
It includes objects his stand has touched, which means everything in his stand's range because stands can pass through anything but each other. It also is an effect that lingers after it exits his range because of what happened to the truck handle and stones. In PHF (non canon) he can stop someone's heart.
Art and Kraft
How to identify another stand user:
- Unique Outfit
- F**k up hairstyle
I love how the choice of music here is the theme of a character where whenever they appear in a fighing game tends to act very similar to stand users in the JoJo fighting games.
Such an underrated character and stand. Part 5 is honestly one of the greatest fighting manga of all time
