@@Thewolfguys.cartoons2000 Actually, Sunsoft had the very best NES music, why waste time though arguing about what's the greatest among all the greatest art the NES had.

Played it constantly as a young lad. Great memories. Another time. Capcom made some fantastic games. Top company. Top programmers and designers. Thanks for upload. Nice one 👍
Although loosely based on the arcade version, most people in America prefer this version because 1) it's part of their fond memories, and 2) they love seeing the controversial Hitler explosion.
Yes it did. I remember as a 12 year old seeing that and thinking "holy crap I will be 34 years old in 2010, that's so old"...maybe I would kill to be 12 again, but heck, I'd take 34 any day if you gave it to me!
Last time I played this game, I was 11 years old and still living in Mexico. I didn't speak English, so I didn't know what to do at the very end when you have to shoot down the chopper with the bazooka. I never got to finish the game. I finally got some closure, LOL.
Ah, the bazooka. The precious, precious bazooka. And I remember how much I hated that drop where I had only one shot, and how surprised I was to see Hitler's head explode.
I'm surprised they didnt censor hitler's head exploding in the final scene, considering how sensitive the nes was about violence back in the day, after all they did ban sweet home from making it stateside.
VegetaHimself Yeah but way those 2 games even licensed by Nintendo? Mainly because back in the NES era it was suppose to be child friendly but we can all agree the best game that is not for children and was made by Nintendo has to be Conkers bad fur day
Nostalgia at its finest. It used to take me about 2 hours to get through this with at least 6 or 7 continues. You did this in just a little over 1 hour and no continues. Heck, I'm trying to remember if you even died once, and I can't recall.
the neutral area reminds me of an 80"s twilight zone... but i will not rat that out cause only us twilight zoners that remember this game know that secrete
OMG this takes me back. I've got to get me another Nintendo and this game. BC and Mario 2 were my favorite and Sonic the Hedgehog on Sega kicked ass too. Thanks for posting this. Greatly appreciated.
I remember this one from childhood. How satisfying when you’re falling from a cliff and make numerous last minute catches to save your life 😏 I wonder if anyone’s made a hack called Bionic Commando with Jumping.
Upon rescuing Super Joe, the protagonist refers to him as "Mr. Joe", indicating that his first name is "Super" and furthermore that "Super Joe" isn't just some monicker, but a real name. This is one of the reasons why this game is so awesome.
now this is the best game i ever played on nes or any system for that matter. this was such a realistic, spy movie style video game. it really felt like you were in an action movie with dangerous european criminals like dictators or something. and the game play was so fun and it didn't feel too hard to play good at it. and the graphics were advanced and imaginative for late '80s early '90s video games.
Thank you for loading this. I appriciate it very much. That nostalgic feeling i get from things from my childhood are always welcome. This being an adult stuff is for the birds lol. We do get to drive, have sex, shoot weapons on our own, and raise a family, but with all the responsibility attached to the above, it is nice to step back into a part of my childhood. Plus, i made it far but never beat the damn game :) 40 is 10 years away for me, but i think i will always love games....not more than doing things with family, but it is up there.
Aw I thought you were gonna use the 3-way gun in Area 7 for the barricade, then leave the level, come back and use the Rocket Launcher. Helps a ton! Poor Hal....... Well, he's even braver than our Hero. "I take this bazooka" guess he wanted to get married before dying. He could've easily escaped with the Hero. Speaking of, he is strong, holding onto the rope with one arm,and Super Joe with the Bionic one! Master-D sounds like an old school rapper. :O 1:08:10 MUSIC "goddammit" LOL.
My friend's kid brother had this game, couldn't beat it, so he brought it over to my place. and I was hooked! Beat it several times but it never got old!
That's actually a certain 'floor tile' that launches the character up into the air. So it's not a jump performed by the player but a legit part of the game. This can also be found in the final upward climbing segment in Area 5.

"Commander, someone's infiltrated our area! What should we do, sir?"
"Send in the paratroopers that can drop through solid ground."

The fact that the Nazis are called "Badds" is inherently hilarious.
Capcom had to remove all Nazi references in order to comply with Nintendo of America's standards.
