The second title in the series.
Plot: 'After his initial defeat Dr. Wily, the series' main antagonist, creates his own set of Robot Masters in an attempt to counter Mega Man: Metal Man, Air Man, Bubble Man, Quick Man, Crash Man, Flash Man, Heat Man, and Wood Man. He also constructs a new fortress and army of robotic henchmen. Mega Man is then sent by his creator, Dr. Light, to defeat Dr. Wily and his Robot Masters.'
This longplay replaces the old video since it had bad quality overall.

Legendary game! With the best music in the entire series, too.
Mega Man X on SNES is great too
The game that really put Mega Man on the map.
If you pick Woodman, Airman, and Crashman first, you can get access to all the best weapons for Heatman and Flashman’s stages.
He got the 4 e tanks first and those are the easiest bosses with megablaster and also easiest stages.
the best opening sound
I remember for Christmas my aunt asked what game I wanted for the NES and asked her for this one since I have read about it in the game magazines and looked cool and she got for me that Christmas! I still have my original copy with the box, but no manual and beat this game countless times and have been a Mega Man fan since :)
normal = easy
difficult = normal same japanese version
Exactly. Difficulty is the true Normal difficulty.
That's Why In the Legacy Collection, I auto Default to the Japanese Versions of the Game.
A gaming masterpiece -- with an amazing soundtrack to boot!
One of my favorite games of all time past and present

One of my all time greats
Classic!
You can't beat this classic! The Dr wily 1+2 stage has got to be the most common stage music in video game history,if not in all of Capcom. Everyone knows that classic tune when they mention Megaman! I can't tell you how many videos I watched of variations of the Dr wily 1+2 stage song here on UA-cam for years...so many.
Cast: spring woman, sheep man, flame man, knight man, sonic man, dynamite man, guts man, bomb man, time man, oil man, napalm man, wave man, enkel, quint, dark man, duo, bass, dr. Light
Megaman super in colour
Only the real ones play on Difficult. It's the true version of MM2. Even then, this game is arguably easier than most other Mega Man games.

People keep saying this is the best in the series but actually, this is the WORST one.
One of the weapon is pretty much overpowered, making others pretty much useless. It defeats the purpose of finding the weakeness for each robot master.
Level designs aren't that good and some of them (you know what i'm talking about) can make you stuck if you don't know what to do and the game does not warn you about it.
