This is the song & version we danced to at my wedding. I adore this song and all the memories it brings to my mind.
it's such a sad song for a wedding :) but it's indeed very romantic.
It's also about someone leaving a relationship, and being abandoned! 8o It reminds when Sting told about a wedding where "I'll be Watching You," which is a song written form the point of view of an unhinged stalker, was featured. He said "Best of luck to them!" I went with a jazz band without a singer, although I probably misses an ironically titled song or two. :D

I knew Karen at Oberlin and NYU (went to the same study away film class there). She is one of the nicest people I ever met. So psyched she made it big, though I always thought she'd been a film director.

the first person I loved gave me an earbud on a walk and this song was playing when we were 16. I thought it would be our 'first dance' song. my idea of life at 16 didn't pan out of course, but what a beautiful song to come back and listen to every now and then.

The original version of this song makes me feel nostalgic, but this version makes me wanna cry and call my best friend to play some songs like we used to do. I really love her voice, because it´s not perfect and it´s not the most stunning voice in the music scene, but she puts a lot of fellings to the lyrics

True Story from my life to share. Was years ago now, but I was the DJ at 3 of my best friends wedding. I played at all 3 weddings. Always played my accoustic and a MIC, "MAPS" and "I Will Follow You (into the dark" by: Death Cab For Cutie. Unfortunately, nobody ever knew the songs I played or shared any comments about me playing for everyone. But I still hold those memories to this day, in case one day someone will care.

Schrodinger's Cat from what I have sourced, yes. If you watch the video it was a live take. Her ex Angus was about to leave on tour as her band was too. I guess they or he decided to split and he was supposed to show up in the video or something and that's why she is shown tearing up. I dunno how true all this is tho.
