No one really should't be shocked. Us Americans eat more sugar than the entire world. We put sugar in foods that don't even require any just to avoid having a bitter taste. It's really crazy how much we consume, just as it is crazy the amount of food we waste daily.

I looked it up. Adding cream of tartar when you’re making candy helps prevent the creation of sugar crystals. That’s why lots of icing, syrup or candy recipes call for cream of tartar: it makes it so the end product doesn’t have large crunchy sugar capsules. Whenever you’re cooking sugar for a syrup, add a bit of cream of tartar to aid in a smoother candy recipe!

She gets plenty of credit, support, and positive reinforcement! From what I understand, I think many of their current products are her ideas, haha. It's kind of you to be concerned, though 😊

I looked it up. Adding cream of tartar when you’re making candy helps prevent the creation of sugar crystals. That’s why lots of icing, syrup or candy recipes call for cream of tartar: it makes it so the end product doesn’t have large crunchy sugar capsules. Whenever you’re cooking sugar for a syrup, add a bit of cream of tartar to aid in a smoother candy recipe!

You could also use lemon juice, or anything acidic (yes. Vinegar included). Cream of Tartar is the most common go to.
