I don't have a label or sell cd's in real shops... but thanks for streaming services such as Spotify, music has been my only income since december 2014. Over half a year doing what I love... all thanks to spotify. So streaming is pushing the limits honestly.

You must earn good on those 66.000 streams per month. Read some band had a million views and earned 4500 dollars on that. Got to be one of the lucky ones i guess :) Even living in Göteborg, Sweden you have a good monthly salary to make it? Not expensive?

I know this was 5 years ago, but BIG DOUBT. Pretty sure you don't make all that much from streaming. Most artists make the bulk of their income from live performances and maybe merch.
@@alex-mk3ti I don't use any loops at all. I'm a pianist and I compose everything on piano. I've done it that way for 11 years. I started out with classical piano and filmmusic. Writing my own stuff is what I'm passionate about.
i felt more happy when i recieved my deadmau5 LP in my mail then EVER hitting a fucking spotify play button..
