thanks for sharing, love garage sales, in 1987 when i was 13 my mom bought me huge box from a garage sale for $3, had ton of 1960,70 and early 80s...best hit was a beautiful 73 Schmidt rookie and few hank aarons, was a great box, ill never forget that.
I bet there are odds on finding cards at yard sales just like pulling autos. We had to slog through endless mountains of baby clothes and Tupperware at dozens of homes to even find a small box of cards.
I loved this video so much for the trip down memory lane. Asa kid, there was nothing more fun than when a grandparent or aunt takes you to a yard sale or garage sale, flea market or thrift shop and they give you a $5 and allow you to get anything you want......I would usually just buy a t-shirt or an album of cards and use what I didn't spend to buy fireworks from my neighbor
omg that Ryne Sandberg with the bears is so cool. Those boxes were a nice little pick. I was expecting all, like, the usual suspects of the junk wax era, but it was a really nice mix with a lot of lesser seen designs, lots of inserts and other flashy stuff (like Metal Universe, maybe the best series ever). And it's nice they didn't feel super picked over, either
This was my yard sale - thanks to Jabs for stopping by! If anyone is in the Latrobe area I’m having another sale on Sat Sept 24 with more mystery boxes. Monastery Dr, Latrobe Pa
15:01 you pass by a Ben Blomdahl 96' Score RC. That is Donald's nephew. These are some of my favorite type of videos you do. You def got 20 bucks in value.
I wish I could find some hauls like waht you found. The Gettysburg area is hard pickings around my area. We don't have a card store near me. I have to travel 35 miles 1 way just to get to an overpriced card store. I don't know how he stays in business. Happy hunting everyone.
I did recently got a whole box for $5 wasnt sealed but atleast 30 of those cards are error cards... different to say the least i wonder if they are worth anything at all??? Have you ever had this happen
Man this reminds me of the Flea Market and Antique shop videos a couple years back. Always fun to find/see the hidden gems out there. Preciate the great content! 🙏
The only reason why I even had baseball cards as a 12 year old, is because I worked for them, at my LCS. 🎉 WooHoo for Card Sharks in Wells, Maine!! That was in 1987. 😂
As a collector I'd a grabbed every complete set. I do have millions a cards that are just junk wax and am running out a room for them... But folders, memberbilia just but if that cheap will prob only go up over long term
I think with lots like these its not so much about the return on investment as it is just sorting through and finding random gems or seeing sets you've never seen/haven't seen in a while..... you know, as long as it isn't all 1991 fleer.
At a flea market. I found 15 1989 Topps baseball rack packs for 20 bucks. But I didn't get the Randy Johnson rookie. I got other good ones. I got four error cards.
Missed an 84 Guidry if that’s worth anything for you. Man I wish there was tons of cards at a yard sale up here in Canada, never seems to be any baseball cards.
I have a few questions. Do you only collect rookie cards? Are older cards worth more? Is a card worth anything if the players birthdate is wrong? Are basketball or football cards better to collect over baseball or hockey? I own 8 boxes i haven't searched, 6 binders i bought back in 2013, and a few Michael Jordan Cards. I am obviously still learning, any input would be appreciated.
I was just notified by Topps that they oversold topps fire Hobby's so they cancelled my order after weeks of no response. Company is going to the gutter under fanatics 🤦🏻♂️
Ah yes… Chad Curtis. He went to my brothers high school and graduated about5 years ahead of him. He made his mark tough and was quite the local celebrity when he made it to the big leagues. I was still in high school then at a rival school and wasn’t aware of his reputation. I just researched him a little and didn’t know he was actually kicked off the high school basketball team for being “too fiery”. A little foreshadowing of his future self. A talented ball player, turned 100% Grade A A&$hole. What a waste.
Good deal for $20 but once i see the years and sets i always pass on junk wax stuff at yard sales just not worth anything i was at one yard sale this guy had a ton of actual good stuff rookie cards with autos vintage and some modern too man too bad it cant always be like that lol
I was wondering if you can email me back I'd like to buy some baseball stuff from you get your address and everything and send you the money then you can send me the cards
Geez. All the yard sales I come across have women’s clothing, kitchen junk and of course old xmas decorations. Never anything like this! Cool stuff

Well organized collection and display at the yard sale. For $5 a box, I'm certain I would of walked away with several more boxes.
I bet there are odds on finding cards at yard sales just like pulling autos. We had to slog through endless mountains of baby clothes and Tupperware at dozens of homes to even find a small box of cards.
Those baseball folders reminded me of back to school shopping! Total blast from the past! I would absolutely snag those!

Always cool to catch a glimpse of my cousin when your going through 90’s era carda
This was my yard sale - thanks to Jabs for stopping by! If anyone is in the Latrobe area I’m having another sale on Sat Sept 24 with more mystery boxes. Monastery Dr, Latrobe Pa
If you pause the video @ 1:00, there is a "Seinfeld" Lego set of Jerry's apartment. I never knew Legos did that but, that's awesome! 🙏
Love the Mattinglys!
Gotta love yard saling for cards! Snagged so much at the Springfield Ohio Antique show. Hope all is good Jabs!
15:01 you pass by a Ben Blomdahl 96' Score RC. That is Donald's nephew. These are some of my favorite type of videos you do. You def got 20 bucks in value.
I would love to have seen some football and basketball cards from that collection
No, sadly I fell asleep 😂 but tonight he got walked twice and the crowd WOW… 😅 they were not happy

Wow, you got some pretty good finds. Most people don't know what treasures they have in their yard sales.
Ricky Henderson RC is the first raw single I ever bought, I got it at Granite Run Mall card show in 1984
Awesome This Was
The value was definitely there!
Love this stuff
Love that Lou Gehrig card im a big fan of Lou

Some nice base junk wax hall of famers in there also saw a edger Martinez from the 90s
Always fun..stuff!👍😎
Worth a shot!
Ok Jabs!!! I’m gonna have to subscribe!!! Saginaw in the House
Please tell me you bought that Ozzie Smith folder! I'd love to buy it off you if so - I had that and others in 4th or 5th grade. :)
I didn’t!
you can get them cheap on ebay
Mike Marshall the relief pitcher once appeared in 100 games in a season for the Dodgers. It was pretty much the end of his career
Enjoyed that
81 Donruss works well when you run out of toilet paper. Better than 2-ply
I did recently got a whole box for $5 wasnt sealed but atleast 30 of those cards are error cards... different to say the least i wonder if they are worth anything at all??? Have you ever had this happen
I think you got your $20 back.
Great video thanks for sharing.
Real nice cards. Should have bought them all
Man this reminds me of the Flea Market and Antique shop videos a couple years back. Always fun to find/see the hidden gems out there. Preciate the great content! 🙏
I've been buying Judge rookies.... mostly base cards. Do you think those values will go up if he breaks the record?
Hey, I just pulled a clearly authentic bo Jackson auto! Any idea of how much the card is worth
Check out eBay recently sold. Nice pull!
"I don't collected Pirates cards." Didn't add because they aren't worth anything. hahah
The only reason why I even had baseball cards as a 12 year old, is because I worked for them, at my LCS. 🎉 WooHoo for Card Sharks in Wells, Maine!! That was in 1987. 😂
Love your vids
Wowzers
I’m a huge KC fan, and I remember when Jose Rosado pitched a 2 hitter to the Indians and lost, because those 2 hits were HR’s to Manny Ramirez.
What does the the letter and astriek on the back of some topps cards mean?
Dude I've been garage sale hunting for months looking for cards and nothing! That garage sale was the jackpot
Love that 2013 wil myers rookie card
I didn’t make it to a single yard sale this year……yet
Nice!
That last box, autos and parallels was five bucks!?! 🤔 I never got that kind of luck. Wow 😲
As a collector I'd a grabbed every complete set. I do have millions a cards that are just junk wax and am running out a room for them... But folders, memberbilia just but if that cheap will prob only go up over long term
I always thought Oscar Teveras was on his way to being a big star in the league. Great young player.
nice stuff
I would've bought them all🤣
fun to go through just bought 700 80s n 90s baseball cards for 7 bucks .. needed the box lol I'll prob just through the ball cards out lol
Subscribed because i like how you talk to us like a collector instead of just like an investor like so many other channels. Awesome video.
I think with lots like these its not so much about the return on investment as it is just sorting through and finding random gems or seeing sets you've never seen/haven't seen in a while..... you know, as long as it isn't all 1991 fleer.
It sure is a lot of sets for a yard sale looks like somebody's running a card shop
At a flea market. I found 15 1989 Topps baseball rack packs for 20 bucks. But I didn't get the Randy Johnson rookie. I got other good ones. I got four error cards.
I forget which way it was, but Donruss used to make factory set either going worst team to w.s. winner or vice versa. Maddux won 18 gold gloves.
Nice😊
Missed an 84 Guidry if that’s worth anything for you. Man I wish there was tons of cards at a yard sale up here in Canada, never seems to be any baseball cards.
At 1 time I’d rather had donruss over topps. But, topps is now my favorite.

I can't believe how many videos I missed, gotta do some binge watching! Preciate the great content, always appreciated Sir. 🙏
I never find any sports cards at yard sales. I did find the full set of the 30th Anniversary Spiderman card set (90 cards) for $5.00 at a garage sale.
Yard sales!
Nice bang for the buck! Schilling ain’t making the HOF!! He had a chance once upon a time but he’s too controversial now… Great video as always
I’m 6 minutes in and I love this video.
You get what you pay for I guess.
Those look like brand new boxes down below. The one had 2022 absolute. Were those empty boxes or what?
LETS GO!
Display purposes only? Isn't that the opposite of a yard sale?
Did he miss a Freddie freeman bowman?
I can’t believe you didn’t grab that Jordan wheaties box. Can you go back and grab it for me 😂
Yes, 117th comment. Good stuff Jabs
I was just notified by Topps that they oversold topps fire Hobby's so they cancelled my order after weeks of no response. Company is going to the gutter under fanatics 🤦🏻♂️
Yo
Hi
88 Topps McGwire was an error card
I think you could easily make your money back...and more. My challenge would be figuring how to sell them
Chuck new kid on the knoblock
Where is yard sale
