Great Video I always like watching you post. I notice early in the video you were looking the card and I notice the Frank Thomas rookie card I believe at (3:23/3:24 time on the video). did you pick that card up in your lot? just wondering
In '89 12 yr old me refused to buy Upper Deck after overpaying for a couple packs which were hard to find. Finally found some at a Walgreens, paid like $2 a pack maybe more which was ridiculous & ended up never owning the Griffey. Definitely the most iconic set...first higher quality product which led to Stadium Club & other premium brands at the time. By the time I could justify paying that much for what the Griffey was going for I was out of the collecting game. At that time I was buying all the Score football I could get for like $15-$16 a box. Another iconic set...with Hoops that 89-90 period was awesome. Loved seeing the Yount too...grew up in Milwaukee and the way you said his name was exactly how my dad would say his name. Cool vid. Too bad you overpaid because his original ask of $60 was cool
I was lucky enough to buy the '89 Upper Deck set when I was about 13. My younger brother chipped in also and of course, we cracked it open and took the Griffey rookie out. About 10 years later, I sent it to BGS to get graded, came back an 8, and I think I sold it on eBay. I still have the set minus the Griffey rookie.
Made it all the way to the end. Love the videos. I loved to buy and open wax looking for that big card to sale. The way I look at it if you are having fun and making friends along the way and doing something you like it's a win.
Looks like there was some nice vintage baseball in a picture frame at 9:50 leaning against the back of the U-Haul. Did you check those out? Probably too expensive.
Never had the chance to open an 89 Upper Deck pack let alone pull a Jr. I bought my second box ever of 89 Donruss for Xmas for myself last year. Enjoyed every pack. Saved 4. Thanks for the video and that Largent rookie would have been a blast to come across.
Cool dig. I love the deep dive into piles of madness myself. Question for you, did you not feel there any room to get the price lower? Seemed like a sale where they'd just want to move stuff in bulk. I'm assuming you left only cannon fodder behind.
That Football set's main card is the Steve Largent RC, like you said, but the one in that set wasn't great. It was way off-center. I would have used that to get the price down. In order to sell that set for top dollar, you would need to replace it with a better centered/conditioned one, which means more of your money, so I would have negotiated with that.
Sorry but you wouldn't make it at our sale. If you handled my stuff the way you are handling that stuff, I'd ask you to leave. It's kind of a tell that you're not a collector, but just another reseller.
Then get the cards out of the trailer and display them on a table as you would see at a card show. If you care about your cards you wouldn’t have them stuffed in a trailer. Give me a break.
He was high, like 500 and I lost the footage of that... So in other words you didn't want to show the footage because you actually paid 800+ It's okay you live and learn
@americanarbitragecards I do to but your clearly breezing thru them your more of in a hurry. If you had all day to cherry pick but at the same time you get the whole thing for $100 then you go thru it maybe you find a tom brady rookie even banged up worth a few hundred then you know you didn't miss anything and you got the 5cent cards you want
I think you are rush, and he seems to want retail price.Next time just pick what cards do you wanr , this guy seems really high price guy. If they do so high just pass it. Always have a second chance to buy next time
You missed 2 Frank Thomas rookies amongst a ton of vintage stuff. Funny how you learn so much about vase manufacturers and know so little about cards and players, other than stuff from the junk wax era that personally interests you. I wouldnt have paid more than 500 for all of that. He wasnt going to sort it and the conditions on a lot were bad. I would have pointed that out. I think you think that checking on small assortment prices works to your advantage, but offering to buy it all without pointing certain things out might be the better play with a hot mess like things thrown in a uHaul truck
I dont like how all these dudes are just scooping up every card you can grab and just hoard shit, leave some cards for the kids i mean im not saying you do this but i see it on every channel
This guy font understands absolutely nothing about cards. He buy junkie era cards and left the good stuff behind. And the way you touch the cards its really annoying
You know its a good day when American arbitrage cards uploaded
Bought a tote full of cards at waterfront mission for $35 nothing really but junk wax but man the fun I had going through those.
Exciting find at the yard sale!

Watched till the end! Recently get back into it about 3 months ago. 44 so all of your finds hit home, especially the holy grail set!
Thanks for watching! Congrats on getting back into the hobby…welcome :)
Wow thank you for sharing !! upper deck was a amazing time for me as a kid!!
Nooo & 9:54 how did you skip over the the Griffey JR card
Looks like there was some nice vintage baseball in a picture frame at 9:50 leaning against the back of the U-Haul. Did you check those out? Probably too expensive.
Yep, saw that as well. Nothing as big an investment as Will Grier... or even Kyler Murray... but, some nice cards in there.
We ALL overpay sometimes no big deal. Just keep moving forward!!! Love the videos. Keep em coming!!!
Will do 🫡
Made it to the end. We have the same taste for sure. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for that! Glad you have good taste :)
Best cards I got at a flea market was 73 topps clemente, aaron judge rc,kobe fleer metal rc, also a Barry Sanders jersey card all pretty cheap.
Definitely a trip down memory lane watching you flip through that 80's stuff - Cool video Cary
Glad you enjoyed it
NICE FINDS BUDDY. HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY. ALOHA
I was getting fired up looking at all of that vintage football! 🔥🔥🔥
Love hearing it!
Also a Brett Farve rookie
Is flipping your primary gig or is it purely a side hustle/hobby? Either way, love the content and always look forward to your videos!
Main gig…that and content :) but truly I love doing it….so it feel like my hobby is my job
Never had the chance to open an 89 Upper Deck pack let alone pull a Jr. I bought my second box ever of 89 Donruss for Xmas for myself last year. Enjoyed every pack. Saved 4. Thanks for the video and that Largent rookie would have been a blast to come across.
That Jr card isn’t worth much is it? What’s the desire to get that set or card
Watch it all. Learning whats good or not and in it just for the fun hobby too.
Thanks for watching the whole thing!! :)
Hey love the channel! Also the whatnot is great!
Love the content bro. I watch all your videos and learn something from them all. keep putting out great videos and good luck much love 👑✌🏾
how do you fin the yard sales
Cool dig. I love the deep dive into piles of madness myself. Question for you, did you not feel there any room to get the price lower? Seemed like a sale where they'd just want to move stuff in bulk. I'm assuming you left only cannon fodder behind.
I tried…he was pretty firm once I hit $400. That football set was really the sticking point
@@americanarbitragecards sticking point for you both it seems. Anything gradable?
1987 Topps will always be burned into my brain, no other cards exist.🤣
I was never a huge fan of the set but the Gary Carter card looked so cool on the wax boxes. Until I finally pulled one.
Saw a Frank Thomas and Chipper Jones rookie.
Gopro footage of your junk.
Some nice cards in your pile. Good score
😂

What about Frank Thomas?
I really like overtime cards. They just submitted a couple autos to PSA for me.
Yount rhymes with "count" not "c---"!
Exactly when he pronounced it Yunt every time I cringed.
Not the younts I know. It's pronounced exactly like the c word.
The Charizard Vmax was probably the most expensive card there😂
You’re kinda treating those cards like crap.
as a georgia fan. I wish i found this! lol
I sold my Ken Griffey Jr. 89 rookie for $5 in 6th grade, because I knew they were selling the cake I liked at lunch and I wanted two😂
Love it!!
He seemed like he was trying to get retail and not get rid of them. I think you were right to just get the cards you wanted.
Keep up the videos! There all bangers🎉
You got taken 😂.....binders mean horrible condition PSA 5 & 6s.....So did the 89 have any errors? Dale Rev?
Should have bought that ringo !!!!!
Sorry but you wouldn't make it at our sale. If you handled my stuff the way you are handling that stuff, I'd ask you to leave. It's kind of a tell that you're not a collector, but just another reseller.
I agree, very unnecessary. Very sloppy. Very rough for no reason. Slow down. Treat it like your own. Hopefully he reads this
Agreed! This guy is a sub human animal!
Then get the cards out of the trailer and display them on a table as you would see at a card show. If you care about your cards you wouldn’t have them stuffed in a trailer. Give me a break.
400 was way way too much. Wouldn’t have paid more than 175…
Absolutely, his ass would be outta there.
Is man you missed a bunch of really good cards. The jeter rookies and the shaq rookie and the dale murphy rookie,.. looks like fun though
I made it to end. Ill be looking for you at front row
This is the content that we want to see. Not the junkie prism football stuff that you find at 702.
A collector says Yunt? I think not.
Lmao when you said "he was high" when talking about the negotiation very much misinterpreted at first.
This guy should worry more about the diabetes than cards lol
Devoted sister, beloved Yunt
That Robin Yunt tho...
I made it this far!!!!!
Love it bro!
Gold mind love that Let's go
He was high, like 500 and I lost the footage of that... So in other words you didn't want to show the footage because you actually paid 800+ It's okay you live and learn
PSA 10 Ricky Henderson is $$$$$$$$
Why go thru crap to pull out a .03 cent card why not just offer for $20 for the box and be done with it
Because I enjoy looking through cards
@americanarbitragecards I do to but your clearly breezing thru them your more of in a hurry. If you had all day to cherry pick but at the same time you get the whole thing for $100 then you go thru it maybe you find a tom brady rookie even banged up worth a few hundred then you know you didn't miss anything and you got the 5cent cards you want

Good point :) I think I should spent the $60 and left :)
Just buy it all.

Looks like you robbed the guy who was obviously selling someone else's collection...
The Nerf gun is calling you.
Robin Yunt? Really?
I dont like how all these dudes are just scooping up every card you can grab and just hoard shit, leave some cards for the kids i mean im not saying you do this but i see it on every channel
Kids just grow up to be these guys so i don’t know what your so worried about. Stop thinking about kids so much you weirdo.
What up
Hi my name is Josh and I love your videos I was wondering if you could send me a box of nba cards plz
Well if he is just going to send random people stuff just because they ask, josh, can you send me a million dollars? Thanks.
Hi my name is Matt and I love your message I was wondering if you can send me $500 plz
This guy font understands absolutely nothing about cards. He buy junkie era cards and left the good stuff behind. And the way you touch the cards its really annoying
This guy sounds awesome 🤙
You need more practice
You definitely don't need to buy sports cards and resell them, you are handling the cards to rough and destroying them!
