Hey JJ! Thanks for all the vids this year man! For us outside you are living the dream! Much ❤ from AUS! Merry Christmas! Hoping to hit you up in 24! Fingers crossed!
Loved the video as always! I have just a small question: so my friend and I are going soon to Tokyo and we are looking for some retro nintendo consoles and games. Where would you recommend is to go?
Honestly, almost every shop has some sweet retro Nintendo software and hardware. Granted selection, condition and pricing will vary. I offer a GameTour service, too. Drop me a message on Facebook or Insta, links in the description, if that interests you. But otherwise, you shouldn't have much trouble finding retro Nintendo goods. All the best, cheers!
Hey glad to watch a nice day in Surugaya, Ive been following your journey hunting and its quite enjoyable, mostly because your narrative! Stay healthy! 🍘🔥
Great run! And woah, Waku Waku 7 is up at that price now. Crazy! Nice to see Mortal Kombat for the SFC. I rarely see that on my hunts. Cool to see that SupaBoy SFC in the glass cabinet. A portable console that works really well with SFC/SNES carts!
When I filmed this, they were just finishing up with the showcase setup. It was great timing. Inventory depends on many factors. Some stores are worth checking a few times a week, others 2-3 times a year. The ones worth checking daily are typically in Akiba due to their high traffic. Cheers!
Orange with Sega ceo was first followed by Orange for dream cast. At 15.38 I saw the crows battle action for Sega saturn for 28000. It's a scrolling beat em up exclusive on saturn used to be sought after sold mine for 200 bucks in 2005. Would have it again if I saw it for 28000 yen. 17.04 was kyuuin vacuum kids, 16 bit esque shooter for ps1. Had it, would like it again but really rare these days.
Absolutely, let's make it happen! Also, don't forget about my Instagram. I post a lot of goodies on there that we don't see here. instagram.com/retro_rewire/ Cheers! @@atomiswave1971
My take is that the prices are high, but given the new norm -- they're not too far, or on par, with other Surugaya shops. I'll be covering the one in Sapporo very soon. Cheers!
this 9:40 mario sp is so beautiful

I love Surugaya, they have some hidden gems in the junk section sometimes.
Their junk shop in Akiba is worth visiting!
Great place and great prices, mostly
I agree. In the next part we’ll shop the games. Lots of options, cheers!
That's crazy 3:15

I’ll be showing a low more in the follow-up. The reg stacks were quite loaded!
a very rare packaging 6:31
I love the opening music for the video. It reminds me of certain song from famous band 😂🤠🤔
I found it under the Western movie genre. It’s a cool tune!
Have you made any videos that show NeoGeo Pocket Color games? Would love to watch it!😊
I have a few videos that show games and hardware. Unfortunately the options for NGP Color are limited. I’ll keep an eye out, however. Cheers!
this red-joyconed switch is rare 9:16
ducktales NES is beautiful 13:22
good price on this 5:36 blue PS3
This store is a bit on the high end in terms of prices, I would like to visit it though. Anyhow thanks man your vids bring happiness to my heart.
More on this place very soon!
Can you go to Hard off Takamatsu Kagawa?
One day I will explore the shops on Shikoku Island!
Would you say they refresh these stores on a weekly or monthly basis? I’m curious how many times you gocheck for inventory refresh.
When I filmed this, they were just finishing up with the showcase setup. It was great timing.
Inventory depends on many factors. Some stores are worth checking a few times a week, others 2-3 times a year. The ones worth checking daily are typically in Akiba due to their high traffic. Cheers!
When you say you sell, is that online anywhere for people outside of Japan to buy?
At the moment I only sell within Japan. When I visit the states, I take as much as I can to sell and trade. Perhaps in the future I’ll expand. Cheers!
Can you usually test the junk consoles at the shop?
Not at Surugaya, unfortunately. You can do a visual inspection by asking the staff. Surugaya is pretty clear with any issues on consoles. Cheers!
If you're looking for the best launch model, get the SCPH-18000 it's best IMO
I have one! It runs like a champ. Now I’m gunning for the 10000.

Thanks for the info on the DC boxes. Overall, the showcase had a pretty sweet selection. I’ll be dropping another video on this shop soon. Cheers!
