Finally I have been hunting here in Tokyo for the last 2 days, and before that I was hunting in Sapporo too for 4 days. I will be hunting in Tokyo for few days (InSha’Allah) then I will head back home. I’m happy because I found hidden gems off my list and also outside my list.

Love it or hate it you can’t deny that a Super Potato actually feels like a video game shop. BEEP has a similar vibe in Aki. I went to the new Trader location in Aki last year and it just felt sterile in there. It was definitely a turn for the worse for that store.

I think it's Alien Crush on the pc engine. A nice pinball game. But sequel Devil Crash is definitively better and more expensive (and also available on Megadrive). Nice to see some Sega Mark III and Gautlet Legends on N64. Have you ever seen those games on Famicom (and how much do they cost) : Journey to Silius (Rough World, ラフワールド), Dragon Fighter, Power Blade, Crisis Force ? And Baseball 2020 on Neo Geo AES ? Some of my wishlist.

I’m from NY USA but I have many memories in Japan with wrestling gaming food anime manga history and culture for 5 decades from 1980-Now I’ve been to many events and have met some of the legendary wrestlers like Giant Baba Jumbo Tsuruta Misawa Mitsuharu Kobashi Kenta Kawada Toshiaki Akiyama Jun Hayabusa as well as Joshi like Toyota Manami I can keep naming but I’ll be here for decades

Again a great video and thank you for showing us some stores of the beaten path. Those prices though were all over the place as they hardly made any sense. The pricing on the 3DSLL in the beginning and the Gamecube with the Gameboy player were pretty good. Pricing on some of the cartridge games however, made absolutely no sense. But these kind of places are a treasure trove to find something cheap, which is expensive elsewhere. Looking forward to the next one! 💯

7:45 A lot of more expensive games are out of the case. I wonder whether this is due to space. I doubt the store is worried about theft. Rather, they put expensive items in the case to prevent damage like somebody fumbling it.

There are some very expensive PS2. Such as the Automotive Blue, Red, Yellow and Silver consoles. But that Gundam one. We saw one for 10000. We should have got it.

omg yessss wakayama!!! i found a cib n64 animal forest here for 5500 yen. This place had a ton of CRTs when i went, I feel like those aren't too common to see in hard offs. There was a book off nearby it if i remember correctly, and they had a indigo gamecube with 2 controllers in perfect condition bundled for 4500 yen! I was so shocked

Quite some unique and interesting stuff that far out. I think those "smaller" cities can bring in quite some gems. Interesting. Thanks for sharing.
