I love how they had 4 pc engine duos total in the store I'm glad I got mine back in July of this year and then got it refurbished. Best regards Nikita.K
Refurbishing the DUO is a wise choice. I replaced the caps on my unit a few days ago. It’s one of my favorite consoles and the design is super sleek. Cheers!
Super cool looking store and really cool video! It’s always fun to see some of the box and game art there when I’m so use to seeing the NA versions on some of them. Japan’s going to have to be on my list to visit.
My man, make that trip happen! The whole country is like a candy shop for gaming aficionados, haha! I'm looking forward to your next store tour video, cheers!
Selection and condition will beat out the Book Off stores that are somewhat nearby. For the serious game collector, it’s definitely worth a visit, cheers!
For the most part, I have to agree. The Vita prices were reasonable. The NA copy of MK II was decently priced, especially for those living in Japan. I’m the next video, we’ll have a look at another Book Off! Cheers!
Definitely curious if ultimately you think it's worth it making a trip to Nagoya from Tokyo for game hunting, or might as well just stick to the greater Tokyo area hard offs
If time is limited, stick to the Kanto region! Chiba, Saitama, Kanagawa, Gunma and Tokyo proper offer tons more than Nagoya. For example, Aichi has 43 Hard locations. Saitama alone has 101. Haha, cheers! @@brian2118
It's been a few years since I last visited Kyoto, but some of my earliest videos were filmed there. This Hard OFF may prove to be worthy: ua-cam.com/video/i3gGO5bh870/v-deo.html Cheers!
Another store I'm very familiar with. Prices are on par with Super Potato but I've noticed they forget to update some prices sometimes. So it's not impossible to get a good deal in there. Nice score on the Core Grafx for 5000 yen! I have a regular PC Engine but looking to get a Core Grafx instead.
I felt the the NA region MK games were decently priced for the SNES. Thinking about it now, I should have picked up that MK II copy. PC Engine is a must! You really can’t go wrong with any of the hardware. Cheers!
I agree, this shop is worth a stop for those looking to pickup a Vita. Their biggest strengths are stock and variety. Condition of goods is decent overall. We’ll visit a Book Off in the next one, cheers!

Yeah, deep down I feel the same. Leave no stone unturned! Haha, cheers!

In Kyoto for a few days. Already went to Book-off by Toji Station. Any other locations or hidden gems to visit?

Happy hunting!
Those prices were mostly terrible. I think the prices for PS Vitas was pretty good. That console doesn’t seem popular right now.

I bought a used blue Vita on my trip to Japan in 2016. I don’t know how, but that Vita was in better condition than the one I got new lol
Haha! How's that Vita, from 2016, running these days? Any yellowing present on the LCD/OLED?@@mzarectah
