Khovanshchina Khaikin Krivchenya Arkhipova Piavko Ognivstev 1974

Mistakenly identified as Ermler 1988, Natty Preme has helped identify this as the Khaikin 1974 recording, a little longer and in better sound than the other one I had uploaded earlier. It is 10 minutes longer but I have not yet identified the extra music on this apparent LP rip.

Is it the Korsakov's instrumentation, or the original?

Unfortunately for us all, there is no original. Only Rimsky-Korsakov's and Shostakovich's orchestrations, plus rare Stravinsky/Ravel and Bojti orchestrations. This one is Rimsky-Korsakov's.
