Thank you Annette, the Lisi are just gorgeous. I shall look forward to seeing them in flower. I don't have room to start them off myself. Such a palette of wonderful pinks and the white were just yummy.
Я сама выращиваю лизиантус из семян, это очень красивый цветочек. Но самый красивый это "Корелли" и "Розалия".Спасибо вам за ваши уроки. Здоровья вам, всего самого хорошего.
Fabulous tutorial. I hadn't realised that Eustoma is now Lisianthus, - a much prettier name. No wonder I couldn't find seed as putting the old name in the search engine. Such a lovely lot of varieties. May ask wheer you buy your seeds please? Thank you
thank you. I am going to buy from Nicky's nuraseary as she has some tomato varieties I want to grow and may as well gt them from the same place to save postage.@@cottoverdi
Hi Diane, I absolutely will. I'm hoping to create a series of Lisianthus videos because I know they can be daunting to sow from seed. Thanks for watching. 💚🌸
Where do you get your seeds Annette? I’ve not had much success with the packet I sowed over a month ago. One little seedling has made an appearance. I don’t have a heat mat so they’re on the kitchen windowsill
Hi June, I got most of my seeds from Nicky's nursery and some from Plants of Distinction. They really do like it to be super warm in order to germinate, so maybe try moving them to an area above a radiator until they've germinated? Good luck.
Hi Marie, you can try to germinate the seed without a heat mat but it depends on the temperature of the environment because the seed will germinate when the soil temperature is between 70-75°F (21-24°C). Sometimes this can be achieved above a radiator or on top of a fridge or if your climate is warmer. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
At last. Someone in the UK explaining how to grow Eustoma! I so want to give them a try, and am now inspired. Thank you Annette!
You are so welcome Julie. Thank you and good luck with yours 💚😁

Thanks Penelope. Sowing these seeds has brought a bit of summer sunshine into January. The seed sowing frenzy will start in force in Feb! 😁🌱
Very helpful, especially the vermiculite part.
Glad it was helpful!
Love the Champagne one. Wow your hippi is impressive👏🏻
Thanks. Carol. I, too, love the champagne. I'm still waiting for them to germinate 😬 being patient but it's difficult 😄
Very helpful, thank you 😊
You’re welcome 😊

Thanks Be. I've bought from various places in the past. Nickys Nursery, Chiltern Seeds etc.

12:04 am really inspired to try these beautiful plants. Better buy seed quickly as its 20 Jan!!
They ar so beautiful - some of mine have germinated in just 11 days - but be warned that they are tiny and grow really slowly until planted out.
I hope you will show us how you pot these seedlings on, the progression from seed to flower 🌺

Hi, where do you get the seeds from I can only find one variety on chiltern seeds
Hi Marie, I used Chiltern Seeds but also Nicky's Nursery and a few others. It's a shame but you really have to search hard. I hope you have some luck
Hi, how long do they need to stay n the heat mat and is a hated propagator ok to use instead?
Where do you get the seeds?
Hi, if you live in UK, try Chiltern Seeds, Nickys Nursery Ltd and Plants of Distinction
Can you not grow lisianthus without a heat mat?
