    Updates for latest edition. 2:54 Have to select the bottom two corners of triangle, right click, and select "fix" so triangle changes in right direction when left side dimension changed. 7:26 select "constraints, horizontal/vertical" from top icon menu in order to snap to middle of that plane. Thanks, perfect tutorials for starting off.

    Hi guys, ive got a problem at 2:49 where in we are going to rescale the triangle by inputting 42 mm after doing sketch dimension.. My problem is instead of the base of the triangle staying in place and the tip of the triangle extending up, The problem is the base is the one that extends downwards “penetrating” the base of the L shaped model. Wherein its the tip of the triangle thats supposed to be extending upwards to get the value of 42mm. Hope any of you can help. I am stuck in learning autocad because if this problem. Appreciate it!

    At around 2:30 when he is placing the points for the triangle, the line tool only wants to snap to the grid and won't snap to the edge of the geometry. I've tried turning off grid snapping from the bottom of the screen with snap still on in the sketch palette, but it still doesn't work. What am I missing?

    • @camposcreativestudio7362
      @camposcreativestudio7362 2 роки тому

      I got the snapping figured out by activating the Auto-project edges on reference, but now the line is ended after the second point at the corner. When I go to add the point on the right end, the cursor says "place first point". I've worked around this by placing the point on the right second, but I'd like to know why this behavior is different, if anybody knows?

  • @isocraftsinstallations332

    Really useful, just started and feel i could master it fast. Question; can you do quick video on creating a new sketch on top of sketch. For example. Box with 4 holes + then new sketch for lid with 4 holes on top of sketched box (projected). The 4 holes in box threaded and 4 holes in lid not threaded so a threaded skrew can fix both sketches. Making holes in mirror mode and linking them so if one diameter changes, all 4 do. For you seems like fast fix, for me (and others) hard thing to create. Thanks 4 your time ! 👍
