  • Looking back at my journey over the years, the first thing I want to say is the words "thank you". Thank yourself for not giving up. Difficulties do not falter, stumbles do not get discouraged. Thank yourself for constantly exploring and learning. And most of all thank you all, part of my motivation. Thank you for staying and accompanying me throughout my journey. You have witnessed the steps of my life. Have welcomed my joys and sorrows together. Gave me words of encouragement when I encountered difficulties and stumbled. Sent me congratulations when I achieved something in my journey. You have shared with me many good ideas to help me improve myself day by day. All of those things created me today. I will try to do better and send you more interesting and meaningful videos. I hope you will always be here, accompanying me... Thank you very much.

I feel any comments or advice would be insulting to a man so skilled and knowledgeable in so many disciplines. All I can do is sit back in wonder, and watch as you do everything from animal husbandry, to fish farming, to masonry, to smelting and metal work. Your abilities are boundless. I am constantly in awe of you Duong.😀👍

Being knowledgeable in many areas doesn't mean that advice and pointers from people that may do a particular thing he shows on his videos doesn't hurt anything
He can take or leave the advice, and I've seen him many times take advice here and improve something. Someone who continues to learn and improve doesn't push away more knowledge

If you're even remotely interested -- thats pretty standard for chickens, up there with dogs chasing balls; they start to associate you with food and follow you around when you dig around the garden. Check your local laws--some places don't like chickens in town.

I have never seen yams grow so big! !
In Japan, yams are grated and eaten over rice.
It is called ``Tororo'' and is said to be good for nourishing and toning, and has long been said to be effective in preventing summer fatigue.
Wild yams are sold at very high prices.
From the Japanese perspective, the mountains of Vietnam are like a treasure trove.😁

With all those pigs I can see a need for a future sturdy smoke house. Stone and mortar walls with heavy dual layer plank roof and a side burning box with baffles to control air flow for cold smoking. Cold smoking is optimal at 22 to 25C (70F) for about two weeks for curing meat. Hot smoking for cooking meat is optimal around 100C to 105C (210 to 225F). Plus the cured pork like bacon and ham rump roast and shoulders will have a high selling value. Also rubbing the meat with salt before cold smoking will help to add an antimicrobial layer along with the benefit that causes the meat to extract moisture and draw smoke deep into the meet making it safer for long term storage and consumption. .

!!!please create a large amount of charcoal and mix it with the soil where you grow crops!!! you will achieve that coal will serve as a refuge for microorganisms that break down biological material into compost, !!!it is eternal!!! historians examined carbon from a 5000-year-old hearth and the coal did not decompose !!! the soil will be completely black in a few years, saturated with nutrients and, above all, very fertile!!! it would be a satisfaction for me if you do that, you are great, I am not afraid to say that you are the best youtuber in this survival topic, nice work keep it up, I would like to come to see you and see everything live, I am from Europe, good luck

@@rencieroberto4766 How do you know how many times he feeds them? It may be that he feeds them 2-3 times per day. Also, my grandmothers had pigs in the past and they fed them once in the morning and once in the late evening, with half of the food he gives them and they grew to be huge, so I do not think that he's giving them small rations at all.

    • @avantigaming1627
      @avantigaming1627 2 місяці тому +1

From what I see in his videos, the pens where he feeds them are always wet and if you look even in this video, there's a lot of water around the pens where he puts their food. Also, do not forget he mixes the food with fresh water, a lot of fresh water, before he gives it to them, so it's not like they do not have a good source of water.

... and especially good for the pigs to keep them in good health...
... suggest adding charcoal to the garden soil... not the ash, but the burnt wood charcoal...

The vegetable that you plant at 23:30. is called "Chicorée sauvage" (wild chicory) in France. We no longer consume it much, but we used it, especially in the north of France, to replace coffee, which was rare and expensive, especially during the two world wars.

Hi Doung 👋, congratulations wow look at that amazing 👏 now you have like a balanced amount of animals
Well your Yam looks delicious i miss eating them i use to eat them in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 we call them Ñame and we boil them and add a simple dressing that is made of olive oil or you can use rapeseed or some similar oil little vinegar or lime juice salt garlic black pepper and annotte for color and we pound the garlic with salt and make a paste then we get onions thick slices and cook them in that dressing few minutes till the onions is tender but still crisp and we pour that over the Yam we do this also with green bananas plantains potatoes casava malangas yautias and purple yautias pana in English is bread fruit 😂
Anyways we cook all this boiled and add this simple onion dressing to it let it marinated few hours and we eat this with roasted chicken or pork , or fry fish and is amazing 😊❤
Well Doung i cant express in words how happy i am for you how proud and honor to be with you since day 1 don't let your audience overwhelming you ok you the only one that has stayed loyal to your roots others has crack already , your audience has to learn that all their suggestions you already had in consideration while planning all this remember yes your viewers are very important but neither of us are there or can see what you have in mind therefore dont let them bring you down with their comments or demands ok . Good 😂
Well Doung see you in the next video , you should do a pretty shelves unit to put your vegetables on and off the floor ok 👍 take carr man i wish i could have some of that Yam 😅

Yes that's right, I think my kids will love it. But now that I'm studying, I will take my children here to play when they have summer break.

How much time does it take you for the regular chores around the farm each day? Preparing food for the animals, feeding them, cleaning the pens, weeding the fields, etc?

dandelions are high in vitamins and make a great salad when the sprouts are young. I use to see people here in Canada picking them on the fields and roadsides.
