i bought a 883 iron today. not my first bike but first harley. ive been
driving for the last two hours making connection. i think im in love
I bought mines 2020 iron 883 in Nov. and fell inlove with it. I just started back ridring after 18years. Thought I would swoop one up lol. I will be coverting it to a 1250 and 200 size tire. I love it very great ride. Thanks Harley. All though I didn't get any of the services deals when I purchased for some odd reason. Only bad perk I seen so far. At least 3 free oil change and service would have been excellent👌🏾
Love the Sportster and all its configurations over the years. Its got that old-time Harley feel and sound. Unless you're wanting to tour and spend 8 hours in the saddle there is no better Harley in my book. These new motors they are putting out in the bigger bikes are not my cup of tea.... I prefer the EVO design and that means Sportster is the way to go for a guy like me. I ride an 883 Custom with a 21" front wheel. The Custom came set for two-up riding from the factory and a 4.5 gallon tank. Mine is great for day or weekend trips and of course around town. I like them all though. I am on disability and if not for old Sportsters I would not be able to afford a Harley.... but listen I spend about $1,000 a year on service, shirts and accessories so Harley would be smart to keep guys like me in the game and riding their bikes.
I was gonna just get an old Harley on Craigslist for half the money but it’s really tempting to go all out and buy this instead 💀
BAPHOMET just a tip, if ur gonna go all out get a street bob because guarantee you and i seen wayy to many times you will trase that sporster in after 6 months and loose a lot of money, so just get the street bob or a used sporty.. just my .2cents

Moors Hound how are they crap? Orher than fuel injection and rubber mounting they are basically the same exceot ur not going numb in less than 20 minutes
@@gigi9467 when I say the new one's are crap I mean ABS dual linked breaks, & a host of things designed so you cannot work on your bike, fuel injection is fine as is rubber mounts, just get something from 2007 up to 2012ish?
Moors Hound ohh i see, well abs are not hard to work on i worked on them on my touring bikes, dont be afraid of the new tech it does make this bikes better and new ppl will buy them so we can get this brand going cuz its dying slowly and nobody wants that

Good to see this video I though Harley were going to stop making these sporties. The one I have is a XL1200S 2003 I have had it 15 years. Got 26000 on the clock not had any real problems with it. It is my second bike since I own a softail as well.

@@Miguelvillaloboss shes a beast! easy to handle rides smooth the suspension does suck but nothing to bad. I'm going to install 14 inch ape hangers and the forward controls for better comfort.

This bike is my dream ...but fact is fact nothing has changed since 5 years or so...same shit except the color schemes..Harley is not listening it's cutomers..
But what would you change? It's bullet proof already.
@@ish2000 1)Harley needs to add liquid cool or oil cooled as these bikes generate a lot of heat that is why most of the people end up selling their bikes within or after a year,(2) if u know, Harley has launched iron 1200 cc almost 1 year ago in US but still not yet launched in India.(3) Prices in India are still high thanks to mr. Modi. Indian govt. Was imposing 90 percent import taxes but it was reduced to 75, but again not that big relief.(4) I don't know about this point now a days, but when I visited Harley showroom 2 years back they had this policy like u must have a car before buying a Harley (third class sales policy) and that too a sedan a midrange car and it should be on ur parents name or yours (blood line).....
And finally coming to your point its a bullet proof bike..maybe but do u want to ride it in the battle field.😅😅
@@dhnsh i just wanted to hear your opinion. I got 2 sportsters a 48 and a iron883. I could've bought bikes that are liquid cooled or a much more modern bike when it comes to technology but my deciding factor on trusting this bikes are the years that it has on production under it's belt. We got a saying here "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Btw the street rod is liquid cooled. Just not my style.

@@ish2000 I don't like street series although it's a liquid cool but still iron 883 is the best in terms of looks and comes with a decent performance 👌👌 hope they soon launch 1200 cc version here.
