You know these kind of collector conversations style videos rapidly becoming a favourite form of content on watch YT..... seeing people's collections and hearing them talk about the stories and journeys etc... Good stuff
Thank you so much for the wonderful entertainment and show. I am an actor, Barry Ratcliffe, I guest starred on marvels Hawkeye, and I have been collecting for about six years, and I am so thankful for people like you in this world that are open to sharing and providing such beautiful information about the art of watches. Thank you again so much for lending your expertise and passion for horology
Great conversation. Thank you for mentioning how difficult it is to let pieces go, because you may never be able to acquire them again. The internal struggle is real.
A conversation about collecting from three people whose different life experiences inform their tastes is good. That they are friends who are comfortable enough to riff, agree, and agree to disagree is even better! Give us more of these conversations!
Great episode. I will likely never be able to own any of these gems but I thoroughly enjoy watching knowledgeable and articulate enthusiasts discussing their collections.
@@ajohnston9782 I bought mine to use it with the black leather strap on formal tuxedo occasions. Now I use it more often with different straps that I’ve bought at different Cartier stores around the world.
@@skatemeyer also to elaborate for anyone reading the passing comments. The reason hype pieces suck is because you can't wear them out and enjoy the same type of freedom you once did. Also, you start finding that twats start liking the brand and you become associated with fools. There's a good feeling wearing something only a few people like, much like the Seiko crowd was etc
Totally agree with you guys talking about how Rolex steel and gold just feel somehow different and heavier than other brands. Tim Mosso always says that Rolex steel watches feel like other brands gold, and Rolex gold watches feel like other brands platinum. Seems like everyone on UA-cam bashes Rolex, but deep down we all know Rolex just does it better than anyone. They’re like the Toyota of luxury watches.
Great Video. What's missing is a Omega Speedmaster/ Omega Seamaster 300 42m blue dail/ Heuer Monaco Calbrie 11 blue Steve McQueen all 3 iconic, Classic watches must have in any watch collection 👌
You probably don't hear a lot about Laurent Ferrier because he doesn't market or promote himself too much any more. But an LF is still an LF.. It used to be my grail watch..
Great video, thanks guys. For me watch is a jewelry, so two brands are interest me the most, Rolex and Cartier. Everything else unless it’s made of a precious metal for me has no value.
I would disagree that the market will never change, prices are already tanking. When interest rates going up even more to control inflation and governments around the world needs to pay for COVID by raising taxes, this is when the fun will begin. We are heading for another recession where QE will not work this time. Also for me, try things on will be to buy a rep. Wear it for a few weeks or months and buy the gen if you don't like it.
Is it just me or has the watch industry and the voices within it really been mentally hoodwinked if they are all raving about the ability to buy products from a company, as being this amazing aspect of a brand. The fact that you CANT just buy a Rolex by walking into an AD doesn’t mean that cartier is doing something special, it means that Rolex, et al; is doing something ridiculous that customers should not tolerate
Did you piss off your hairstylist? Dude get your hair together. It’s hard to take anyone serious when they present themselves in that manner. Just saying! I would be happy to send you tube of color.

Brian,
your passion for watches is contagious. Maintain
the passion.
This was so enjoyable to watch! So true about the heft of precious metals with Rolex! I absolutely love these series! More, please!!!

Enjoyed this Collector Conversation -- and I usually don't enjoy them. Great work Josh and Brian.
Great episode. I will likely never be able to own any of these gems but I thoroughly enjoy watching knowledgeable and articulate enthusiasts discussing their collections.
Crazy how much these guys know.
This is one of the most pleasant and on point discussions I’ve seen.
Cartier Roadster is timeless . A versatile timepiece with very nice looks !
Love a good roadster! Wouldn’t mind seeing a new version of that piece sometime in the coming years

Cool discussion. More Collector Conversations please!
Thanks, guys, for showing your collection
Great conversation. I am 43 and just started learning and collecting. Thanks for the video !!
Thanks for watching and welcome to the world of collecting!
Enjoyed the conversation on the pros and cons of the different brands.
The other Josh Polansky video is one of my favorite Collector Conversations
Thanks 🙏
Always fun.
I definitely second the opinion about LF. That's one brand I don't want to become the next hype piece
My favorite brand for ages- haha we gotta shut up about it.

Wonderful discussion. This is what collector conversations should be. Looking forward to more like this. Cheers.
Damn this was great I felt like I was there included in the great conversation! Fantastic episode you just gained a subscriber 😀
Fantastic watch talk. Truly enjoyed it
Thank you for watching!
Nicely done, Armand. Best one yet.
Thanks for watching!
Good Convo
Great Job Armand!!!
Teal
Thanks for watching Teal!
He mentioned his Seiko turtle twice but they just kept over looking it. Lol I love the watch I was waiting for them to talk about it…
Snobs, and only like boring hype watches
Excellent presentation!
Good chat; love the format. Looking forward to another like it. 👌🏼👌🏼
This was soo enjoyable to watch. More of this please.
Very entertaining. Thank you!
Really enjoyed that guys.
What an arc of a show.
Great content. Should do it again!
Fantastic episode. Love the collector conversations. Excellent job, Armand!
Thanks for watching, Adam!
Love this video ❤️
Great video! I wish you guys would share the actual watch boxes in the videos. The green suitcase one is awesome.
The green one is likely made by Bosphorus and the cork one is Wolf x Analog Shift. You're welcome.
I wish they would discuss what these guys do for a living to also understand their backgrounds.
love the love for cartier !
Great episode!!
Very nice collection.
Such a great and insightful watch. Thanks
Great video! True watch collectors
Thanks for watching!
Good conversation

Great episode gents! Who makes their watch boxes?!
I know the larger one is bosphorus!
Thanks Armand!!
I too prefer LF over FPJ. I like how LF is not hyped but well respected.
Awesome

Great 👍
If they start mounting a tungsten bezel on that santos it will make that cartier the ultimate “gada” watch.

"Tapisserie" dial, not patisserie - the latter means 'bakery' in French.
Who are these guys? Never heard of them.

AP doesn’t make a 36mm, a 37mm 15450!
14700 and 14790 and 25594st and others
What a transformation. From nice guy to Doosher.
You need to show the watches more rather than the people
Wassup My Ninjas
Armen, are you armenian aper Jan?!
Even before I watched this video….I knew which watches would appear. Predictable….😴
