I agree with you but It also depends on how expensive your watches are. If it’s a 2499 first series from the 1940s. Do not think anyone would just wear it that casually😅
I love that he waited in line for a Moonswatch, lol this guy is a real one. Loves watches for HIS reasons and has fun with them. Man I’d kill to meet him I bet he’s cool as hell.
I feel like very few people see a Rolex watch and love it for what it is, preconceived notions and marketing sell their watches. The IWC with Mercedes F1 color is beautiful!
Great guy! Once again we can see that Casio and Gshocks are cool. You can have in your collection Rolex, Omega, IWC but there is nothing bad with owning a Gshock. That's the beauty of them. I do have them as well and many times my simply square one wins over Omega or Breitling.
Agreed and the duro (mdv-106) is incredible. Beater, vacation watch, etc. A true strap monster and a gorgeous piece if you're ok with the size. I cook for a living as well, and 8 times out of 10, either the duro is on my wrist (on an fkm rubber strap) or the gshock gd-350 with the vibrating alarm. I've had my duro for about 7 years and it's been everywhere with me. Out of all of my watches, the amount of compliments the duro gets is wild.
Loved to see my Gold Gshock full metal in his collection. Respect. Easily the most accurate watch and which is going to last longest without needing a service.
Awesome video. Now that is a watch collection! I just finished watching a Hodinkee episode with Emeril Lagasee. That was BO-RING: one gaudy Rolex after another. This guy has imagination and insight. Oh, and I am definitely going to his restaurant.
I appreciate collections that are from people from interesting and rich professions, like this gentleman. Seeing some Hollywood celeb's bastion of submariners is old.
Thomas....THANK YOU for giving love to the BLNR on Jubilee. You are the only watch personality on UA-cam who didn't say the watch looks better on Oyster, even if you actually feel that way. The others sound like parrots who have never even handled it on Jubilee. I knew there was a reason I like you 😉
we drove 9 hours each way to Miami to miss out on the Moonswatch. Got two fakes today that come with mineral crystals:) Gave them to my kids and will never buy the real deal.
Rolexes are so boring, and when scratched and dinged up they don't gain character, but lose all the bling that made them attractive. Maybe in the past when they were tool watches, traces of wear made them look unique, but now it is not nice to see that perfect finish being ruined.
This is the collection of a man stretching his budget at every opportunity… I know that I am in the minority here but this collection and the chef make me sad.
You can tell that he really wears his watches and doesn't baby them. I LOVE IT because watches should be worn !!!
And what a lovely person he is!
@@Hlbkomer Yes 100%
Very true but I'm OCD so I'm always buffing out scratches on my stainless steel cases or polishing my watches with a cloth after wearing them
I agree with you but It also depends on how expensive your watches are. If it’s a 2499 first series from the 1940s. Do not think anyone would just wear it that casually😅
Please do a part 2 with him! What an amazing collection and a true enthusiast

I love that Raymond choose the smooth bezel/jubilee Wimbledon...I'm looking for the exact same watch as of now, and he worded the reasons perfectly!
Yes. Smooth + jubilee is the ultimate casual classy combo. Not to classy as a full oyster and not too flashy/blingy as a full jubilee fluted combo
Wow this is what you want to see in someone who loves watches - great passion
More of these videos please!
Enjoyed the story. Thank you for sharing!
His collection are almost similar to mine . The IWC, White DJ 36mm, Explorer 39mm, Datejust 41mm and the Gshocks
Appreciate the watch close ups that weren’t in the earlier episodes
The "Michelin-starred Chef's watch" is a whole new catgory I hadn't heard about. I'm looking forward to learning about all the timers they must have.
Love this video, thank you so much. Please make more videos about chefs and their watches.
Awesome collection. Really enjoyed this episode, and agree the Starbucks is amazing
That Wimbledon is 🔥
I really like the smooth bezel with those, everyone always goes with fluted, but smooth bezels are so underrated imo.
Love these type of videos (i.e. real people and their passion for watches). More please!
Just picked up the Mark XVI.... loving IWC... what a brand. And that watch is a stunner guys . Great vid
What a great video! Thumbs up of course, really cool collection Raymond! Love it!
Thank you for this great video and interview, really wonderful to showcase a real watch lover firmly grounded.

That 36mm white roman datejust is beautiful!
Loved to see my Gold Gshock full metal in his collection. Respect.
Easily the most accurate watch and which is going to last longest without needing a service.
I had the same Guess Steel watch with a black leather band…just sold it actually!
Watches are awesome but Krug is also epic.👌🏼
What a great guy with an awesome collection!!
Love the guess..
Love the range in this collection! Rolex, Omega, Hamilton, Seiko, and Casio. Moonswatch. The Guess watch from dad. Cool guy, cool watches!
Great video and beautiful collection 👏

Very cool; loving these insightful videos and the opportunity to see other collectors' pieces. Bravo
This dude has a great vibe!
We love Ray! He's as welcoming as he is talented.
Love those G Shock Full metal, they rock hard .
I love this! Great content ✅
I like how honest you are in my opinion !!!!!!
Very calm and nostalgic content! Love it! Great collection 👍🏼 as well!
I appreciate collections that are from people from interesting and rich professions, like this gentleman. Seeing some Hollywood celeb's bastion of submariners is old.
Easy video to watch..excellent interviewing style..Kudos!
this is the best series because im a chef myself
Great episode lads 👏
The 36mm Datejust with hidden clasp is the 116234 and not the 126234. Great video!
Really enjoying the content lately!
That's a real cool collection. Thanks for sharing
This was awesome
Great collection there.

There's something special about a sport watch on a Jubilee 👏
Amazing videos! Love all his watches and totally agree with him that the Jubilee Batman and Kermit are great! I really like his IWC too
Great choice on the Explorer 1 mk2 Dial - it’s still my favorite watch 😀
Do more of these! So good content
I cook for a living myself and probably enjoyed this one more than I should!
Ayyyy my guy Ray! Collection is looking good. Appreciated his take take on each piece and thoroughly enjoyed the rage-cop Speedmaster story!
A very god collection. Almost an excellent collection, if one of the Rolex was replaced with something else. So bored of Rolex.
wow, really wears his watch.
Love this video...😍
Nice video
Great video and a great chef
Lots of Rolex😍😍😍 his collection needs more Rolex! obviously. You can never have too many Rolex. Or Lexus for that matter. Or Rolexus’zzz
lmao. I'd tell Neil the Earth is FLAT bro.
This almost matches with Talking Watches with John Mayer!
sooooo whats the story about getting the actual moonswatch? ebay?
Nice
Thought this was Talking Watches for a sec lol
That Petronas IWC is unbelievable.
we drove 9 hours each way to Miami to miss out on the Moonswatch. Got two fakes today that come with mineral crystals:) Gave them to my kids and will never buy the real deal.
Iwc is his nicest watch imo
It just cracks me up. The "seafoam & coral" colors were extremely popular ftom '84-'90. Specially when Miami Vice was in vogue.
Amazing interview. Watches should be worn. You can clearly see he is into watches for hobby, not for investing (like 99% of buyers today)
Okay so everyone's doing talking watches now?
Thank you for introducing this kind of collectors to us, sick and tired seeing videos of a high nose positioned man showing off his pateks🤮
The Rolex Starbucks lul, that just went from class to trash
Hypebeast
Um. Fuck man, I want to enjoy this, but my Um OCD just takes over my brain and focuses on his past Ums and upcoming Ums, I just can't.
Umm umm umm
Tyson is a scam, you lost me there sadly
Not hodinkee

Just feels like a talking watches rip off..
I wouldn’t eat any of his food got a hair in your soup
Lol are you guys copying Hodinkee? Yesterday they did an interview with a chef...
This is the collection of a man stretching his budget at every opportunity… I know that I am in the minority here but this collection and the chef make me sad.
How the fuck do you know his budget and how much money he has? This comment makes me sad.
Objectively, not a great collection.
@chrono24 what ever happened with the $10,000 giveaway?
