Crochet Scarf Finish & A Squircle Pillow Start!!

- In this seventh video for the GRANNY CIRCLE ALONG
I show you how to join your "SQUIRCLES" and finish up the SQUIRCLE SCARF with a cute scalloped edge on each end.
I am using 100% Cotton Yarn called CHUNKY THREAD
I used the yarn color TEA ROSE for my square border on my circles & lots of colors from the CHUNKY THREAD YARN collection for my granny circles.
Next up I show you the start of a pillow that I'm making with squircles...
to add to my cozy crochet home decor:)

This is so encouraging! I’m 59 and my Mom tried teaching me when I was younger, but I could not follow what she was talking about. My aunt tried teaching me to knit and I gave up on that as well. I really want to make a granny square blanket and I hope I can figure it out this time.😂

Thx so very much I subscribed 🫶🏻 my Mum taught me crochet as a teen but now she’s passed my granddaughter asked me to crochet something so I chose a pretty simple striped rug for her bed and I’ll attach crocheted flowers at the end .. getting to the point Mum taught me these and I’d forgotten so bless you they are gorgeous and I’m remembering how to do it now 🙌🏻💯🧶
I remember my bell bottom hip huggers as a teen in the '60's. I was a print of the American Flag. Yep, was cool!
I can see putting these Squircles into a long sleeveless vest!
I do like the decorated stitching just on the ends, too, Lori. Thanks for sharing! Was just tucking into bed and I was notified of this 7th Crochet Along (CAL) for the Granny Square Circles! So, HAD to stay up to watch and learn your directions for the simple scallop stitching on the 2 ends of this scarf! Sew Cute!
I’ve been making these scarfs for Christmas presents! Thank you for showing us how to make them. I made my squircles and then just used your granny square scarf video to put the squircles together into a scarf! I am making them shorter for my little ones…grandchildren and great grandchildren! I have 4 completed , one that I’m blocking the squares, and one waiting to be blocked! I usually crochet in the morning, with my coffee and you tube videos!
Ahh I loved waking up to your video - I’ve just had Carpal tunnel surgery, so no crochet at the moment - I’m inspired to make a scarf once I can.

Thank you! That is my ironing surface in my workroom and yes it’s fabric:) it’s the 100% cotton decorator weight print from my Mercantile collection and it’s called Vintage Advice. I’m sure if you did a google search you will find a quilt shop that has a bolt or two! Hope this helps:) ❤😊

It’s very long and very narrow. Is this a scarf you actually wear, or a table or bed scarf topper?
Yes it's a fashion scarf that you wear with a cute top or a dress.
