Thank you for another lovely tutorial. I just love the way you chat out your thoughts and plans. It rather feels like visiting a sweet creative friend.
I really love how the chimney came out, and that stone work looks great Julie! Each room has such a homey feel, and its own look! I think you should name the doe Pearl!🥰😊
Thank you for all the information, I am retired noe, and finally got time to start my dollshouse. I am making it in an old TV unit with cardboard from boxes from our solar system.
Another great episode, thank you Julie. Your house is coming together beautifully and I love your colour choices. How lovely to have a little visitor to your garden, I would be like you and get easily distracted to watch her instead of getting jobs done, and I agree with the name Minnie, a mini deer in a miniaturists garden! x
Time flies whenever I’m ‘dollshousing’ too and never seem to achieve as much as I think I’m going to! Lovely seeing the living room done now and the dining room well on its way! When I started to do coving I got in a right old pickle too so I made myself a ‘birds eye view’ diagram with all the mitre angles drawn on and it worked for me…I also write the letter ‘C’ for the part that is to be stuck to the ceiling. The things we have to do 😅… With regards to making carpets and rugs - I make mine using two strands of embroidery floss on 22ct fabric. They do come out much finer that way. The first one I made I used a kit which came with crewel wool and as you say it did seem quite large for 1:12 scale. Well I’m already looking forward to the next episode 😊….x Little Muntjac is gorgeous - a beautiful sight ❤
Julie, you could not be more right about having, "A think" in front of the Dollhouse. I have gained many an inspiration sitting and looking over mine conceiving of decor and design ideas. As well as touching up places in it. It definitely gets the creative juices flowing, especially if you have been on a sabbatical. Love your work and how you have shown how easy it is to make Dollhouse pieces saving so much money. As for the beautiful fawn in the backyard, I think Betty or Rosie would be ideal. Looking forward to the tutorial on making area rugs.
I really have come up with so many ideas by just sitting there! I'm so glad you're enjoying the tutorials; being able to make your own furniture not only saves money, but also gives you such a great feeling of achievement. Thanks for the names suggestions for the deer! :)
I love sitting in front of one of my houses in the quite with a drink and a think. I need to learn how to do a patron as I would love to see the 1940 house.
Hi Julie Your lounge looks beautiful and the dining room is going to look stunning-very classy. I love your colour choices and can’t wait to see the next episode. Looking forward to the external door fitting. Always good to watch your door tutorials to remind myself of the process. Hope you enjoy the lovely weather we’re having until the next time we see you. Thank you for all your hard work x 😊
Hi Adele, thank you so much, I'm glad you love how it's coming along. I am loving this warmer weather, the cold and rain have lasted long enough! :) xx
I'm so jealous of your garden visitor. The only four-legged guests we entertain in the garden are the neighbours' cats and our own dog! As your sweet little visitor seems to enjoy visiting a miniaturist's garden... maybe a 'little' name like Minnie, or a 'deer' name like Dorcas or Tabitha?
Perfect timing for a new episode, I was just looking for something to watch while I paint hundreds of roof tiles for my scratch build! So thank you, & the sitting room is looking lovely! 🙂
I saw that loose floorboard immediately and said outloud "trip hazard!" Sorry Julie, it's an "age thing" 😂. Your dining room and living room will be beautiful! Thank you for another great video!
Thanks for another great UA-cam post! Deer are such beautiful creatures, they hang about at my mother's place too. I do like that wallpaper, and the skirting and coving look great!
I don't know how many times I watched your tutorial on how to measure and cut skirting and coving the first time I did it. I honestly thought my brain might explode 😄 The living room looks amazing and I can't wait until moving in day(s).
Lovely to "see" you again! The doll's house is looking finer with each episode - but what else would I expect from someone with your design talents??? I particularly admire the way you work around awkward bits and almost turn them in a feature.............
I always love to see the progress you are making in the dollhouse. You mentioned making carpets. I like to make mine using 22 count canvas and Appleton Crewel yarn. You can get a nice lot of detail using the 22 count. Have fun designing!
Everything is looking great. Snd I have to say that I got a little distracted by your hands while you were working on the fireplace surround for the dining room. I don't know how you keep them so lovely while being a crafter. LOL My own look horrendous!
Thank you so much. I apply a lot of hand cream of an evening, and sometimes wear cotton gloves overnight, and nail varnish helps to keep my nails strong. :)
Very interesting watching your process on this amazing house. I’ve just started working in a vintage Triang and found some of your tutorials very helpful thank you. 😊
Your deer appear quite different than the ones here in the United States. We have a doe who has twins here ever year. What joy to watch her and the fawns. How about ‘Dilly’ for your doe’s name. She certainly is a dilly.
I was going to say the same thing! It seems your deer are shorter and plumper. Our "American" deer have very long legs and seem leaner. But what a lovely visitor to see every day!
Beautiful little deer, how nice living near the wildlife. Maybe call her Bluebell, Daisy, Poppy or Buttercup, flower names. Your dining room is looking nice, love the wallpaper. I need rugs so would love to know how to make them, thank you.
Its looking lovely, I've just joined your patreon and I'm working my way slowly through your past videos 😊 I think you should call the muntjac deer Minnie
I think the royal blue bedside lamps look lovely. If you think they are too small, making the shade taller but in the same satin blue might fit the bill?
I've just been re watching the episode when you are making make-up brushes. Would it make it easier for you to get a tight clump of bristles to stick on the end of a cocktail stick if you were to tie a clump tightly together with a strand of cotton while they are still attached to the main brush before cutting the clump free? Just a thought. I love watching precision work I really do. That's how I think too!
This is lovely! You are so talented. Do you make your own molding? Perhaps you have a video already. I will look, but if you make these and don't have a video, I would love to know how you make these!
I know how much you love your gorilla glue, but I am just wondering, if you wanted to redecorate in the future, does it strip like wallpaper paste would?
This particular one isn't made any more, but do some searching on dolls house websites, Ebay and Facebook groups, where you can pick up second hand ones.
How does an A4 sheet compare to US paper measurements? In the US we use inch measurements for paper. For example, a standard sheet is 8&1/2” X 11” and a scrapbook sheet is 12” X 12”. Thanks.
I am happy with my choice of wallpaper, it's exactly what I want. The deer have been visiting the garden for many years now and have never eaten any of the border plants, but it would be a small price to pay for the privilege of having them in the garden.
My heart skips a beat every time one of your videos come up!!! I just adore you so much!!!
Thank you so much, Chris, what a lovely thing to say. :)
The house is really looking good. You do such a good job. It is going to feel very elegant and charming.
Thank you so much, Karen. :)
Love your special visitor. ❤
Thank you for another lovely tutorial. I just love the way you chat out your thoughts and plans. It rather feels like visiting a sweet creative friend.
Thank you so much Jamie, I'm glad you feel that way. :)

Thank you Alison. I do sometimes drift off and just stare out into the garden at the wildlife. So grateful to be surrounded by so much beauty. xx

Thank you so much for the info, Kath. I shall try the 22ct fabric for my next rug. xx

Call the little deer Lola! ❤
Wallpaper is definitely the right way up. I think the lamps look in proportion too. Loving the journey
I love sitting in front of one of my houses in the quite with a drink and a think. I need to learn how to do a patron as I would love to see the 1940 house.
I do hope you'll consider joining, it's very easy to set up. I look forward to welcoming you. :)

So beautiful, Julie! Thank you for your inspiration!
Thank you Erin. :)
I really love the wallpaper placement. It adds just enough detail but isn’t busy looking. And all your wallpaper design choices are beautiful!! ❤❤
Thank you so much!
Lovely Julie, it’s really coming together. I think you should call the dear Mr Cheeky 😊
Thanks Ruth. I can't call it that, that's what I call Matt! :) :) xx
How lovely your own bambi 🎉
Perfect timing for a new episode, I was just looking for something to watch while I paint hundreds of roof tiles for my scratch build! So thank you, & the sitting room is looking lovely! 🙂
I saw that loose floorboard immediately and said outloud "trip hazard!" Sorry Julie, it's an "age thing" 😂. Your dining room and living room will be beautiful! Thank you for another great video!
It's now glued firmly into place! :) xx
Thanks for another great UA-cam post! Deer are such beautiful creatures, they hang about at my mother's place too. I do like that wallpaper, and the skirting and coving look great!
I’ve just discovered your channel and want to thank you for refreshing, well executed doll house viewing😊
Thank you so much, Melinda. A very warm welcome to the channel. :)
Its really coming along!! I look forward to the "moving in" part :)
Thanks Kat, I'm so looking forward to that part, too! :)
I don't know how many times I watched your tutorial on how to measure and cut skirting and coving the first time I did it. I honestly thought my brain might explode 😄 The living room looks amazing and I can't wait until moving in day(s).
I know! It can be tricky, but does get easier - promise! :) xx
Daisy, that sounds adorable

Thanks Sandra, that's really helpful. I've got quite a bit of Appleton crewel yarn, so will have a go with the 22 count canvas. :)
How about Deerdrie for a name? 😁😁 Love the look of the room☺
Thank you, I've decided to call her Deerdrie! :)
I always love watching your videos! Thanks for everything you do!
You are very welcome. :)
Everything is looking great. Snd I have to say that I got a little distracted by your hands while you were working on the fireplace surround for the dining room. I don't know how you keep them so lovely while being a crafter. LOL My own look horrendous!
Totally agree on hands 🙌

Hello😊 have a nice day
Thank you so much, you too. :)

I shall be sharing tutorials for the rugs, and rug pattern design, when we get to that part. :)
@@JulieWarren that will be great thank you 👍
Hi Julie hope I find you well hun xx
Than you Dorothy, I hope you are keeping well. xx
Its looking lovely, I've just joined your patreon and I'm working my way slowly through your past videos 😊 I think you should call the muntjac deer Minnie
Thank you so much for joining me on Patreon. xx
How about "Little Dear" for that unnamed deer.
Another name dolly 🎉
Julie, Hello how have you been? I think your garden visitor looks like a Lucy i dont know why but while i was watching her i thought Lucy.😊
I think you were spot on about what way up the wallpaper went! It looks so much more... 'correct' if you get what I mean?
Thanks Nessie, I know what you mean! :) xx
Wonderful work 🎉😊
Thank you so much 😀

Thank you for the suggestion. :)
It's not a deer it's a muntjac we have them round here if they have small horns it's is a muntjac.
A muntjac is still a type of deer, though.
Yes, a muntjac is a type of deer. Only the males have horns in this country.
This is lovely! You are so talented. Do you make your own molding? Perhaps you have a video already. I will look, but if you make these and don't have a video, I would love to know how you make these!
Thanks Debby. I buy the mouldings, rather than make them myself. :)
I know how much you love your gorilla glue, but I am just wondering, if you wanted to redecorate in the future, does it strip like wallpaper paste would?
If you're planning on removing the wallpaper in future, I would recommend a wallpaper paste rather than a glue. :)
What a cute house…. Where is the bathroom
Thanks James. The bathroom is (or will be) at the front of the second floor landing. :)
I was wondering if you have any ideas what I can make on a tray when I'm poorly in bed ? 🎉
How about some little paper items, stationery and the like, or take a few scraps of fabric and make some little shopping bags or sewing bags? xx
Where can I get a doll house like that?
This particular one isn't made any more, but do some searching on dolls house websites, Ebay and Facebook groups, where you can pick up second hand ones.
Penelope :)

A4 measures: 8.3 x 11.7 inches (210 x 297mm).
@@JulieWarren Thank you. So it’s similar to US measurements.
💐💐💐👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
If you measure wrong it (mitre) not fit hahaha 🎉
Oh dear...I did laugh though! :) xx
Floor disappears into the wallpaper, doesn't go. Lovely doe, be careful they eat everything. Call her Lovely.
