One thing I would suggest for making stuffed animals, there is a different way to make the single crochet for it. I would never be able to explain it here but look up amigurumi single crochet it is yarn over instead of yarn under. Makes it look tighter. Hope this helps.🧶❤️

Adorable makes! I’m working on my first amagurumi for my grandsons 8th birthday, a snake. He chose some fun colorful yarn a while back. Had no idea what to do with it …. AHA, a snake. It’s so much fun, a quick easy project!

HGood afternoon Lynanne, thatnshawlmis beautiful, I have never made an asymmetrical shawl. I may have to try. Love Edgar, I purchased the Momma Made Mini’s book and have two made and two almost done. They are precious and for the most part very easy with minimal sewing and can be made with all kinds of yarn. I recommend not using any chenille yarn from Michaels, the stuff kept falling apart. Also A Crafty Concept has really cute almost no sew Amigurumi toys similar to Edgar’s style. Thanks again and have a wonderful day.

- a yarn under rather than yarn over will make a tighter stitch

Very cute little cover up and Love that shawl, beautiful colors!!! cute little elephant. I love making Ami's and I don't use more than a 5 mm hook on mine, also I try to do the sc yarn under instead of yarn over, it keeps the stitches a little tighter. Have a great week! 🐘🧶🙂😘🥰💜
