I, too, have gone overboard with the yarn at JoAnn’s. I love the Big Twist so much more than Red Heart and am so sad that JoAnn’s filed bankruptcy.😞. Enjoy your weekend getaway. Looks soft nice.🥰

JoAnn needs to seriously downsize to survive. Im not being mean im being truthful. The last yarnage I ordered from JoAnn's came to me in several different boxes with several different places with different dye lots to boot. Seriously disappointed. The store that once was in the local mall. Granted the local mall was on its way out, JoAnn's was still a solid. Then the mall was doing something grand, something better! The mall! JoAnn's was planning on moving, and even took strides, to move into the martins grocery store with the premonition of the mall going places. That fell through. JoAnn's had already invested in fixing the grocers up and bailed. Mid stream. They opened a new smaller store in a local plaza. With all these investment crashes, I can see why theres trouble in the mix. This is one of those years of totally cold temperatures. Still not enough snow to make a snowman. But enough to disturb the southernmost states. Theyre getting the most snow in years. I envy you in your class c motorhome. I truly do.

I went to Joann’s today and spent my gift card. My Joann’s had soooo much yarn out-even in the aisles of fabric. So sad because their’s is the only big box store near me. I have to go “over the river and through the woods for an hour plus to get to a Michael’s! Herrschner’s and Mary Maxim will most likely get my business. But, no Big Twist or K/C🥲 Happy Anniversary again. What a fun way to spend it! I loved rving❤️

Hudson. Ohio is like 2-3 counties over where JoAnn's HQ is so they are in the Cleveland news about the 2nd Chapter 11 they filed. One of the top person said was they HAVE to have a sale of the JoAnn"s stores. If they do not get it then there is no other way to save them folding under. Also in the Cleveland news, it is said that the guy who bought out the Big Lots is interested in buying JoAnn's. They are thinking about what is on the table of sale. I think they own the Gabe's or Gabrielle Bros 10 stores up here in NE Ohio. I don't like the stores and don't shop them. It would be wise if JoAnn's did sell the rights to another yarn company. Actually for my sw part of Cleveland, it's doubly said. JoAnn's took out Hancock fabrics. That saddened me because I loved Hancock's. I can sew but I'm more of a crocheter. All I use for Boggy Blankets is Big Twist. I told Juan I am going to Big Twist up he agreed. lol somehow I think Juan has it all his yarn stocked.

Wish I had the funds to panic buy Joann's Yarns. I keep hoping that Yarnspirations will step in and buy up their yarns and sell them through their site. Who knows.

Went to my closest Joann and they didn’t have much yarn and none of the jellybeans. No new cakes very little. Today I went to the better store ten miles away and found a yellow note saying it is permanently closed. Best store for me is an hour away but I have to go. There is no other option. So sad because my Michaels is not a great store and hobby lobby is shrinking their yarn selection. I really like to touch yarn before buying it is so hard to do. Swing north to Maryland and I’ll help you drive to Ohio. I’m always up for a trip. 😂.

Hi Lynanne! What a beautiful setting. I am so sad about Joann’s as well. I know have a store near me, all of my purchases are online, but hopefully they can work it out. I actually spend so much of my day watching 4 eagles nest. One in NEFL, one in SWFL (Fort Myers’s), one in Johnson City, TN and the one that started it all for me of Jackie and Shadow in Big Bear Valley California. I peek in at Captiva (somewhere in swfl and there are quite a few in Florida. I’ve heard that Florida has the largest amount of eagles, something like 2300. So it was wonderful to hear you mention eagles. They are incredible to watch. Anyway, I may have to purchase more yarn just to stock up but I’m trying not to purchase any new yarn.. I have failed this year already 😂. Enjoy your vacation.

Yes I caved in and bought Bid Twist yarn and K&C cotton yarn in preparation for them possibly closing also bought some extra hooks and some knitting supplies that were on sale. I am just waiting for them to deliver it. Looks like a great RV park. Have a great anniversary weekend .

Like I told Shannon, I will probably cry if Joann closes. I love their yarn, and their prices. I’ll have to figure out where to buy my yarn…probably Herrshners and Mary Maxim, mostly. Have a fun weekend! It would be awesome to travel around in an RV. 😊🫶🏻
